hey guys I just found out game freak is moving to the arctic...
~Charles LegendGame Freak announced today on its Web site that it will be moving its headquarters to the Arctic effective immediately, a strange move that many in the gaming community called "Farfetch'd." Director Junichi Masuda said the staff will focus on saving the elusive snow Pikachu from the bloodthirsty jaws of polar bears.
Masuda confirmed that he would continue his Director's Blog, however, as a physical challenge he will only write outdoors while standing and without wearing gloves.
The company also announced a new Nintendo DS game, Sansea. It focuses on three ditzy cheerleaders and their quest to singlehandedly run the grand opening of a Starbucks coffee shop.
When asked if the move would affect any future Pokémon games, Masuda smiled and winked,
"Just don't be surprised if the next games feature more of that Diamond Dust effect we love," he said. "Also, Satoshi's adventure will get a lot more depressing."

In case you hadn't heard, the snow Pikachu is on the verge of extinction. Due to its unique nature, this elusive creature can only be found on the poles of the earth, and individuals have occasionally been spotted scurrying across the ice by Antarctic scientists.
But our pollution is destroying the atmosphere, and the ice caps are melting further by the day. This wastefulness will soon leave the snow Pikachu with nowhere to roam. (Pikachu, as I'm sure you are well aware, are not often recognized for their swimming skills.)
Please, stop global warming and save the snow Pikachu. If we don't end our greenhouse emissions right now, future generations might not get to see this wondrous creature.

I don't think there's much to fear for the Snow Pikachu. What they forget is that polar bears live in the Arctic whereas the Pikachu is a random encounter in Antarctic. Their eggs are sometimes found among the ones penguins carry around.

Waiting now for a special snow Pikachu to be released. I want myself a snow Raichu. And possibly a snow Dragonite, though in theory it'd likely be in horrible pain at all times.
No way! I played a little Pearl last night, and when I turned on the game it said I had an update from Nintendo WFC. I didn't think anything of it until a random battle in Snowpoint (yes, in Snowpoint!). And you won't believe what I encountered. So, I took a picture to prove it...
I may be too tired to get this, I just have moved to a new house today, but I don't understand a word what this all is about. Someone should rephrase the article for me, I'm afraid.
Anyways, welcome to Finland.
