Thomas Reusbucks (Kazan Student Council President, Leader of Enigmatic Cube Detective Agency,also a manipulative seme type!)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: A rather skinny figure, about 5'8" but because of his skinny figure, sometimes seems taller. Has light green hair that is combed over to the side, bangs long enough to cover his eyes if the hair is straight but not so long that it makes him look emo. He has small, trapazoidlike spectacles over his sparkling blue eyes which seem to signify his deep insight. He wears the typical school uniform in a primmed a proper fashion, but similar to B4's character, since he's part of the student council he sometimes wears the white overcoat thingy.
Personality: Apathetic would be the best way for an outside person to describe him. He always seems to not care about what's going on around him and frequently is associated with reading some difficult textbook. People wonder why he's even on the student council when he seems minimally concerned with any of the affairs going on around the school, and for the most part he just sits quietly in meetings without saying a thing. However, a few realize his rather accurate insights into things, and when he does speak his thoughts on an issue they realize most of what he says is correct. For this reason he was (possibly forcibly) elected as the student council president.
Though he seems apathetic he takes issues like schoolwork and personal achievement goals pretty seriously, hence gets high marks in classes and tests. He is also pretty faithful to those he considers his friends, though he may once in a while play jokes and act sarcastically to them (Hi PJBW!).
School: Kazan
Background/History: His parents work in a top-secret research facility and he occasionally gets nice fancy technological gizmos that help out in interesting ways. In particular, he often uses small cubic devices which he can throw and detonate at his command (bluetooth, anyone?). Once detonated, the cubes will emit an immensely blinding light and a horrific shrieking sound for a limited amount of time, stunning anyone in its vincity without protection. Most of his friends in the detective agency (as explained later) has been given protection from these cubes when he uses them. The cubes are not strong and they will only stun for a few minutes, but it's more than enough to make a quick escape when in danger.
He is the president of the student council, and he also secretly runs the Enigmatic Cube Detective Agency, run by him and a few others. The Agency is not known very well but those who are aware of it recognize its remarkable success at figuring out the most complex of mysteries in the school. Their current mission is to discover the source of hostility between the two schools.

Kitsune Tadanobu (a... kitsune)
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Appearance: When in human shape, he is pale-hued in every way, having a somewhat otherworldly hue to his pallid, almost transparent skin, and colourless hair. Aforementioned hair is longish and swept back. He wears pale blue kumadori makeup in broad bold strokes on his face; his eyes are almost always closed, and his mouth set in a foxlike grin. His ears are elongated and elvish. He wears the costume of a retainer in ancient Japan, circa Heike era. Wiki this if you're actually interested enough in Tadanobu because I don't have time to describe it right now.
When in fox shape, he's, well, a pretty normal-looking white fox, with blue markings on his muzzle.
Personality: Born a trickster, and has always been one. Has a smart mouth, and snarky to the extreme. The only person he does not really talk back to is Yumi's grandmother. Is extremely loyal to the Doumeki family for reasons as yet unknown.
School: None
Background/History: Se-cr-et - or rather, not really relevant to this RPG.
Other: Can dance the kitsune roppo to perfection. Loves inari sushi. Btw, most characters can't see him, unless they concentrate really, really hard.
Kalah Byquest (Journalist. One half of the fangirl duo)
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: Kalah stands at a mighty height of 5'8, with a rather toned and athletic build. She's decently pale with long, layered blonde hair that always seemed to be large-barreled curled somewhat. Her eyes are an ice-bitten blue that seem to change slightly with her emotions, shifting from light blue to a sea-water green.
Personality: Kalah has a rather exuberant and quirky personality. She's outspoken but generally good natured and seems to have a constant case of 'cheery' within her. However, she's a bit clumsy at times and has many cases of falling down the stairs (which makes her excuses for her occasional injury quite amusing). However, if you cause her to get truly angry or make fun of someone she really cares about, she'll be as angry as a torrential hurricane. She likes to say that she is spunky.
School: Furin
Background/History: Kalah is a foreign exchange student from America. She grew up in a normal family but in the year she exchanged over to Japan, her parents divorced- one of the reasons she forces upon herself an overly cheerful personality. She's been in Japan for a half a year, although her Japanese is broken and pretty bad, and she studies Chinese instead. (Occasionally muttering chinese words when she's in a bad mood). She absolutely adores most of the males in the school, and has been rumored to spy on Inoue Hotaru and his friends, along with a few others.
Other: Kalah works for the School Newspaper, which is trouble in itself. She's good at what she does and no one has the heart to truly get mad at her, because well... she's doing her job at being a reporter. ^_~ It is notable that she can write Japanese, just cannot speak it well. XD
Makoto Sayuri (Fangirl par excellence. The other half of the fangirl duo.)
Age: 16
Gender: Femaaaaale
Appearance: Stands at dead on 5’10, Sayuri is tall for her age. Her hair is flaming red, extremely thick and curly, and reaches to just below her shoulders. It’s very layered, so that no piece is the same length, and she has a side parting, so that most of her bangs (?) fall over her right eye.
Sayuri is green-eyed and slim, and she prefers to wear Furin’s green blazer, to accentuate her eyes and hair.
Personality: Sayuri can be loud at times, but with strangers she lapses into quietness. She is sarcastic, loves to tell jokes and, above all, takes her role as Furin’s resident fangirl with the utmost seriousness. She can often be seen heard squealing over some adorable new yaoi, or pretty boys, or her favourite J-rocker in a voice so high-pitched it could shatter bricks.
She gets hyper at the drop of a hat, and, should this happen, she will laugh and laugh for hours with no ceasing.
Is an avid follower and member of the Furin Tea Ceremony Club, and their halls are often ringing with Sayuri’s loud squeals of happiness.
Has been known to gorge herself to the point of sickness on cake and ice cream.
School: Furin
Background/History: Sayuri was adopted into a Japanese family as a baby, hence her Japanese name and red hair/green eyes. She doesn’t know that she’s adopted, but she suspects as much, considering how different she looks to the rest of her school. She speaks Japanese fluently, as she was so young when she was adopted.

Is friends with Kalah (if that’s ok!) and knows of Sakamoto Aria.
Doumeki Kazuko (Prerequisite older sister character)
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance: 5'6", nice figure, large bust, perfect skin, beautiful face. Kazuko is Yamato Nadeshiko in terms of looks, at least. She has long, dark brown hair, parted in the middle, with two bangs tucked behind her ears that reach to past her shoulders. Her eyes are light chestnut brown. She can usually be seen in suits made to the latest fashion and colour, and heels. She uses just enough makeup to make her features stand out - a touch of lipstick, the faintest hint of mascara. There is a turquoise choker round her throat that seems to be made from the same kind of beads as her sister's rosaries. She seems, overall, like a nice onee-san.
Personality: She's very calm and puts people at their ease. Usually seen smiling, and not the unsettling smile that her sister has, either. She exudes this wise and zen-like aura that would be quite odd on someone of her relatively tender years if you didn't know that she used to be a miko.
School: None. Ex-Kazan.
Background/History: She is Yumi's prettier, more miko-like older sister. Currently working as an associate in a typical accounting office. Many men are currently trying to court her. She lives with her grandmother and sister in the family shrine. When she was the miko of the shrine, she specialized in divination.
Other: I just felt like making this form. :p
Gou Ookami ['Wolf'] (HIS DRILL WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENSer... Head of the Kazan Ouendan; member of Enigmatic Cube Detective Agency,the reluctant uke!)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Wolf is darkly tanned with a solid muscular build. Fairly tall for his age, he stands almost a full foot taller than his younger brother Ushitaros. He has messy, auburn hair that falls just beneath his chin and for some odd reason tends to lean towards the right. Eyes are a nice hazel color and are sometimes hidden by a pair of bright red shades that Wolf seems to be able to pull out of nowhere. His gakuran coat is much longer than normal, the hem ragged from wear falling somewhere around his ankles. He normally keeps it open and wears a bright red shirt underneath it. He usually wears it even when out of school, though sometimes he swaps it for a brown leather bomber jacket with a flaming skull sewn on the back. Strangely he also enjoys wearing the uniform cap. Will sometimes be seen wearing a red band on his arm and around his head when performing with the school Ouendan team.
Personality: Fiery, reckless and bluntly honest, Wolf is one rather to act first, think later. This, along with his temper, has earned him a reputation for being tactless and is seen as a delinquent by most of the faculty and student body. He’s also prone to sleeping and is well known for always being late. Despite his flaws, he has a good heart, a strong belief in justice, and can be quite chivalrous.
School: Kazan
Background/History: [Wennford]I AM WRITING THIS FOR PJBW BECAUSE HE WOULD TAKE A ZILLION YEARS TO DO IT BY HIMSELF[/Wennford] Apparently Ookami and his brother Ushitaros (from here onwards referred to as the chibi) are half-American, their mother being the stateside half. So when the brothers were quite young their parents had a fallout and the mother ran back to the US with Ookami. There Ookami got into many fights and was bullied due to his nationality, etc, and at the time he was even runtier than chibi was. When he was about eleven the mom, worried about her son's apparently violent streak, sent him back to Japan to be straightened out by the dad. He ate many onigiri and grew to his present large size. Somewhere along the middle the chibi got wind that their father might want to pass on the family fighting style, [argh I forgot the name!! sorry PJBW!] to his older brother, and became jealous and challenged his brother to a duel. The outcome was that both brothers had roughly the same amount of power and skill. Incidentally the younger brother is 500% more mature than the older one. The end.
(well actually there was more stuff. But these are roughly the more important bits.)
Other: Oddly, he speaks in Kansai-ben, specifically the Osakan dialect despite both his mother not coming from the region or even having actually BEEN to Osaka.
Zenigata Takuya @ Zenigata Keibu (Kazan's Unofficial Student Policeman)
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: A man with good posture. He has a fairly but not overly muscular build and always seems to be standing as if a seargant was staring down at him. His hair is short, ORANGE (-kun) and somewhat spiked. His eyes seem to always be giving the angry stare at whoever he's looking at. He seems ready to salute to you at any moment or time. He wears a casual gakuen suit like everyone else but for whatever reason he seems to look like a cop when he's in the suit. On his right arm has a band that says "Proctor" in big red letters on it. Also has a big black stick. But it's mostly to look intimidating, since he'd get expelled (or at least removed from his position) if he actually uses it to hit people with.
Personality: A man that wants order in everything. He's extremely strict and will not hesitate to go up to a random student just to shout at him for having his shirt crooked. He is the main proctor of the student council and is enraged that the rest of the council seems to not care about the situation the school is currently in. He makes drastic measures to try to resolve problems, which then are dumbed down by the council to prevent the school from turning into a prison. He believes that most of the doings are from Furin gang members and has currently enforced a law for the detainment of any Furin student seen on or near school grounds.
School: Kazan, as if you haven't figured it out already. :p
Background/History: The main school proctor/discipliner/police guy/whatever. His father was a military commander and his mother was a policewoman. Go figure.
Other: In spite of his seriousness he does have a hobby: he likes to collect and play trading card games. Currently he's into a TCG known as TPMRPGTCG. He's frustrated that the card he was eagerly awaiting for, a limited edition "Ban" character from the Rift Chronicles set, has its release been postponed indefinitely for 3 months and counting.
Kanama Chidori (Part of Mihana Ami's Gang, Sexy Type)
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: Here. She prefers wearing provacative clothing and tries to make sure her bustline is low to show off her DD breasts, even in school. According to her "DD" stands for "Dooms Day."
Personality: She's usually very deadpan and stoic, but she does have a sense of humor (albeit a dark one) and is ready to laugh when the mood strikes her. She's the one most successful at keeping her BFF Ami in the planes of reality. She's the wingman and the darkness to Ami's flame.
School: Kazan
Background/History: Lives with her mother and father in an upscale apartment. In elementary school, she had been the toughest girl in her class. When entering middle school, she aimed to keep that title and took on any fighter or bully that dared suggest they were stronger. This led her to fighting Ami, who also had a reputation, though Ami wasn't fighting so much to keep it as to fight. They argue to this day who ultimately won that confrentation, but they began admiring the other so much they became fast friends and a huge terror to anyone that crossed their path.
Other: Is not beneath using any dirty trick she can, including her giant breasts.
Hoshino Kira (Part of Mihana Ami's Gang, Moe/Shrinking Violet Type)
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: I'll admit, I imagine her looking like this. She stands at around 5'5" and has a small bustline. Her clothing outside of school, if she changes, is usually a conservative light sweater and long skirts, though she's wearing pants more often to prevent getting constricted during fights.
Personality: Quiet and reserved, she's usually willing to go along with whatever her two friends suggest, though she will protest if she thinks a proposition is too outrageous. These protests are lessening as time goes on. She's the good girl who's "fallen into a bad crowd."
School: Kazan
Background/History: She lives with her mother, father, and younger brother in a nice house in the suburbs. She had, up until a year ago, been a very good girl i.e. she was quiet, kind, generous, nonconfrentational, and sweet. After her rescue from a Furin gang, she's been taken under Ami's wing and given tutalage on how to fight. While she is still quiet, kind, and generous, she's learned how to defend herself in a fight and has developed enough of a backbone that she can't truly be called a pushover anymore.
Other: She doesn't smoke like her comrades, but they don't mind since that means fewer cigarettes to buy.
Kurasawa Mishio (Random killable NPC)
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Appearance: Semilong wavy hair, kind of a cloudy-bluish tint to it. Typically seen wearing a casual Fuijin outfit.
Personality: Normally, quite timid and shy, easily embarrassed and doesn't talk much. Seems to hold feelings for a particular upperclassman in the school. After the latest event, however, she seems significantly less approachable and appears almost spiteful at every glance, especially at those who have some relation to Kazan school. May have a tendency to go beserk.
School: Fuijin
Background/History: Zodiac Fodder don't really need a detailed history, but uh, normal schoolgirl, has crush, crush gets crushed, chaos ensues.
Other: She can summon a weapon, which at first appears to be a small hatchet. Although its small, it seems incredibly sharp and can slice through a tree like it was nothing. As her emotions get out of control, the hatchet can suddenly grow into a huge poll axe which can easily do significant damage around the area if you're not careful around her.
Satou Yuki (Rika's brother)
Name: Satou Yuki
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Appearance: Tall, and slender. Yuki is that balance between masculine muscle and that ‘perfect lean’ most female’s dream off. His hair is shortly cut, and black, with bangs that sometimes cover his deep brown eyes. Yuki is almost always seen in a suit, preferring to dress professionally and never to be caught slouching around in comfortable wear. He’s fairly attractive, with slightly tanned skin and the like.
Personality: Outwardly, he’s polite, cheerful, and quite nice to be around. No one ever sees him differently save for his family. When he is around either of his siblings (especially Rika), he turns cold. Either he stops talking or will go out of his way to make them appear like idiots, though this rarely happens in public because he avoids them on a constant basis. He is only ever kind to them at home, and even than, the truce is fragile.
School: Kazan
Background/History: Yuki was the boy the Satou family adopted due to their inability to have a child. Due to that, they found him precious and chose to cherish (and spoil) him. However, by chance, Yuki’s mother became pregnant. At that point, everything started to change. They failed to pay attention to their son, and when Rika was born. Yuki was left in the dark for a while, and this abandonment only got worse when Matsu was born. As all Yuki had was his little sister who he despised.
Years later, he chose to go to Kazan, knowing full well everyone in his family wanted to go to Furin. (the Kazan vs Furin incidents have increased the Yuki vs Rika fight)
Other: He works at Kazan as an assistant to the teachers (running errands and the like). Oh err… Please don’t kill him (yet)
Ikado Akaryou (Waterwind Dragon's rival)
Age: 17
Gender: male
Appearance: Tall, athletic, short well groomed black hair, sparkling green eyes, wears the typical Kazan school uniform but his has red dragons on the sleeves.
Personality: Cold, efficient, and slightly arrogant. He shows proper respect for the faculty but has no regard for his fellow classmates unless they do something to earn respect, whether academically or physically. He is very polite, however, almost to the point of it being scary.
School: Kazan
Background/History: He keeps his personal life completely isolated from his school life so no one really knows anything about his history save for himself and maybe one or two of Kazan's high level administrator's.
Other: Akaryou is captain of the Kazan martial arts team.
Itou Kasumi @ "Katana" (Cho's mom)
Age: 38
Gender: Female
Appearance: Youthful, despite a few laugh lines under her brown eyes. 5'9", hourglass figure that she usually hides with blue jeans and loose T-shirts, and pale skin. Her black hair goes down her back and is usually tied back by a white ribbon. It's not uncommon to see her with paint somewhere on her face (don't ask why).
Personality: Calmer than Cho, yet can wear a very menacing look when she's angry. Some people will find themselves under her piercing stare as she examines them from inches away. The incident at school has put her on edge and she's far from oblivious of the danger Cho could face, although she doesn't show it. Loves to have visitors over, seeing as her career has her interacting with others. Some of her expressions, especially those of anger and innocence, are very similar to her daughter's.
School: Neither
Background/History: Her former husband was a salaryman, expected to support both his wife and new daughter. Kasumi started painting for profit to help pay bills, but didn't see her works of art selling so much. Feeling shamed, the father (who shall remain nameless as far as Kasumi is concerned) left her. She moved to a new neighborhood, into a spacious house and bought a nearby building to use as a gallery. The attack that left Cho scarred also left Kasumi less trusting toward those her own age.
Other: Loves pocky and can be seen often with a piece in her mouth to help her concentrate or calm down.
Kawata Taguri (Akio's little maid)
Age: 12ish
Gender: Female
Appearance: She has a cute, button-nosed face that is extremely acorn-shaped. Her skin is a milky white pale with a natural youthful blush, seemingly at all times that only gets redder in embarressing situations. Her hair is a deep blueish green, but it is so dark that it usually appears black without any light reflecting on it. Her eyes are a dark, honey-glazed brown. She's medium height for her age, but her frail stature makes her appear smaller than she actually is. Usually she is found wearing a simple blue dress with white patterned vines and flowers on it, even when working at the Kasai mansion. Her hair is always bound up into two ponytails, letting her hair dangle to her neck.
Personality: Extremely quiet in nature but naturally perceptive. She's easy to embarress and while her quiet nature makes her seem like she'd be shy, she's actually a medium dose between shy and outgoing. She tries to be responsible, but occasionally she tries to take things on that are bigger than herself. She's also a tad bit clutsy, but never in a loud clashing way.
School: She goes to the elementary school in the early mornings- a special private school for fragile people as herself.
Background/History: Her mother works as the head maid of the mansion and has often looked after Akio. Naturally the Kasai household allowed her daughter to work there as well to help Taguri-chan's mother out with money. While Taguri "works" in the mansion, she really doesn't work much which is perfectly fine to the Kasai. Her basic everyday activies is occasionally serving tea when guests are in the house (which never happens) or to Akio, simply because TAguri likes to find excuses to talk to Akio. She also occasionally goes to the grocery store or to the laundry mat to help pick up 'last minute' things for her mother and such.
Other: N/A
I swear. Another week without Photoshop and/or regular internet access and I will go MAD. (Even more ravingly so than I already am, for those who are already convinced that I have reached the peak of insanity.) Right now... I'm at the college library. Yus.

People withmechsFamiliars, AESTHETICALLY and REALISTICALLY I would prefer that for a starting size of yourmechFamiliar, the LARGEST it should be would be around a 5-storey building, or approx. 15m tall. (we had some, ah, problems with CEB's original signup) Of course during power up times it will get bigger... as big as the Empire State Building or whatever depending on what monster you're nuking.. yes yes we understand... but for STARTING SIZE, tone it down a little please? Co-hosts please confirm this for me in my absence. :x

Laura, I have not read Norwegian Wood because I just finished Kafka on the Shore and it melted my brain, or at least the half of it with Kafka Tamura and his Oedipal curse in did, so I am taking some time to recover before starting on another Murakami. But I take it it was a very inspiring book for you to make a character based on it. :3
If anyone is interested, I edited my characters so that their descriptions are not quite so... peremptory.
Kalah and Wurzel, do you want to make some sort of 'touching history' for our characters as well?
EDIT: It's pissing down outside and I can't get home without getting utterly soaked. So, random update.
AFAIK, 2 of the runners of this RPG are in the GMT+0 timezone; I think Boxo is PST-I don't know how many hours. Everyone else probably runs the gamut of the entire United States.
