Luma starts by splitting its image into 5 which creates 4 copies of itself which begin to float around the field. Treecko does something similar by pouring his life force into a tiny effigy of himself which proceeds to just sit in front of him.

Treecko feeling pretty down fires a swift volley of stars which fly towards Luma, but before they reach it Luma puts up a shield which completely blocks the attack.
