…only for it to hit a barrier surrounding the grinning Elekid. Man, it’s just not Katty-did’s day is it?

Well, this is an interesting turn of events. Elekid’s gone completely ballistic and Katty-did’s not looking so hot. Ok, maybe that’s not so interesting as that’s all we have.

Still going utterly nuts, Elekid continues to flail and swing at Katty-did. However, this time he’s greeted by a purple blob of goop to the face. After trying all battle, Katty-did has finally managed to toxic the infuriating little runt. Payback’s a bitch ain’t it?

The poison only seems to make Elekid even angrier as he continues to flail and wail on the insect. Oddly enough, Katty-did takes it as it concentrates and the sun starts to shine down on the field. The ref gives Asi a dirty look, but will let it slide since it’s not raining or a storm or anything.

The sun is shining, birds are singing, and two pokemon are beating the hell out of one another. Katty-did looks like it’s barely alive, while Elekid, although having taken a beating, is still going strong.

Finally having enough of racing around trying to blast the annoying electric rugrat, Katty-did decides to do the lazy thing, and take a nap part way through the battle.

Only for it to catch a rather nasty fire punch to the face. Fortunately for it, the healing managed to kick in before the punch did, but it still hurt like a bitch.

Elekid growls in irritation, having missed the chance K.O. the annoying insect. He winds up, first charged for another swing.

Pre-Battle

After a brutal beating on both sides, Asilynne’s down to her last pokemon. She calls out her Arcanine, Saint Ben, who glares at the beat up Elekid still floating in the air. Elekid gulps, but it determined to get a shot off on the big dog before he goes down for the count.

Battle

Elekid decides to be a little bastard and give the big dog something to remember him by. Inhaling deeply, he coughs up a massive loogie of toxic goop right at the dog.

And is shocked to find it didn’t work. As the big dog shakes off the sludge, one cannot help but notice an almost ghostly ribbon tied around his leg. Where did that come from?

Saint Ben [7E Safeguarded]

Saint Ben almost smirks before letting out a mighty howl, letting his spirits soar as he feels a new strength flowing through him. Elekid, realising poison wasn’t going to work, thought he could try to freeze him in that position, launching a crackling thunderwave. Just like the poison though, the Arcanine simply shakes it off. What the hell is going on!?

Ok, Poison didn’t work, Paralysis didn’t work. Let’s see if he could confuse the blasted thing. He tries a half-assed swagger, too tired to put any real effort into it, but much to his horror, it doesn’t seem to do anything. Finally done watching the irritating little thing, Arcanine opens his mouth and lets loose a shower of stars, hitting their mark rather easily.

And so here’s the final match! Arcenine versus Kangeskhan! The motherly pokemon makes sure her baby’s safe, while the proud dog is ready to give this battle everything he’s got. All three of them.

The Kangeskhan starts by closing her eyes, concentrating as a spirit-like ribbon, similar to Arcenine’s, starts to form on her arm. Can’t have the baby getting sick now can we? At that point, the dogs shoot forward, slamming their skulls into the mother and child hard!

The attacks did more than expected. Saint Ben looks like his about to attack again. Kangeskhan flinches, instantly moving to protect her child. The dogs almost smirk before howling. Is it just me, or is the sun getting hot again? And just when I thought this heat wave will be over -.-

Now with the sun shining, and Saint Ben’s confidence rising, he brings his head back and opens wide. As ball of light starts to charge up in the dog’s mouth, ready to fire. However, Kangeskhan has other ideas. Thinking the sun would harm her child, she decides on another idea. She lets out a roar, and suddenly dark clouds obscure the sun, followed by rain. Great…rain…my LEAST favourite weather! It seems Saint Ben shares the same opinion, as the ball of energy shrinks. It’s still there, but will take a bit of time before firing.

And it’s raining…again -.- Both pokemon are still raring to go, with Saint Ben still charging up his Solarbeam. Meanwhile, Kangeskhan is still tending to her child, shielding it from the rain.

Battle

As Saint Ben tries to charge up the beam in such horrible weather, Kangeskhan decided to go on the offensive. Using the water around her, she conjures up a huge wave, riding it towards the arcenine.

At that point, Saint Ben fires. It’s a direct hit, knocking the Kangeskhan off of the wave, but that doesn’t stop said wave washing over the poor dog, wiping out his two clones at the same time.

Saint Ben is cold, wet, and thoroughly pissed. Hating this rain as much as I do, he decides to bring another howl. Great, cold and heat. Why can’t we get a nice warm day. Oh for the love of- Kangeskhan decides to simply bring the rain back! That’s it!

Both trainers duck to avoid the rocks being thrown by a rather irate judge.

Calling forth the raging waters once again, Kangeskhan brings up yet another wave, riding onto it as she goes for Saint Ben. The arcenine rears his head back, and despite the cold manages to fire off a fireblast, leaving a trail of steam behind it as it collides with the riding pokemon (you know, that’s not a good place to stand). This doesn’t stop the wave crashing on top of Saint Ben

And so the battle begins! Kangeskhan rears her head back, letting out a mighty cry. A bolt of thunder falls from the heavens, striking Saint Ben hard. The Arcenine yelps in pain. He then launches himself at the Kangeskhan, delivering a painful Rock Smash attack!
