Anywho, I'm starting my friend's birthday gift early this year so I can get it done on time :3 But I need your help TPM people! If you wanna that is- chitterchitterchat, yesh. Um, yesh...Let's come up with as many as we can!

What pokemon should represent what in the Chinese Zodiac? ^_^

Rat- Ratticate, Rattata (Voting for the rat is done!)

Ox- Taurus, Miltank (Voting for the Ox is done!)

Tiger- Raikou, Arcanine, Electabuzz, Purugly (Voting for the Tiger is over!)

Rabbit-Lopunny, Buneary, Azumarill, Nidoran (Rabbit voting is over!)

Dragon-Dragonite, Salamence, Rayquaza, Dragonair, Milotic, Garchomp, Gyarados, Charizard (Voting for the dragon is done!)

Sheep =/= ram. We discussed this, Houndy. Unless you want Jackie Chan to come and break your face open, it's a sheep. A goat at best.

No. Tigers are cats. Arcanine is a striped dog. Raikou fits better since everyone always says the damn thing is a cat. Even though it isn't.

I had a list I made up myself for a little icon thing on my website; some of the picks weren't the most logical, though, because I was deliberately avoiding the use of legendaries (so I had Garchomp for Dragon rather than Rayquaza, even though Rayquaza would've made more sense... actually, since Gyarados is closer to Chinese/Japanese legend than Rayquaza, which is a Ziz/Quetzalcoatl Pokémon, Gyarados probably would've been a better choice) and I had also done the Greek zodiac and didn't want to repeat any Pokémon (so I had to use Miltank for Ox since Tauros was already Taurus in the other one). Too lazy to write out the lists I used here so here, have a link to the images.

And before anyone complains about Purugly being the Tiger, there is no real "tiger" Pokémon--Arcanine and Raikou are shisa so they don't count, and as I said I didn't want to use legends anyway--and at least Purugly's species name is "Tiger Cat". So shut up, I don't want to hear it.

According to this i am a Dragonair. Not a huge fan of it. Dragons rule but Dragonair not so much XD

Oh yeah, i found the zodiac cycle. I think it is a bit changed since i last checked but it is very good.

I picked Dodrio for the rooster cause in the first episode of the anime a Dodrio was on the roof going cock-a-doodle-doo.

I know (seeing as I am one myself) but I wasn't going based on the elements. I was going based on the signs themselves. Aquarius is the water-bearer, so in that context a water-type is more appropriate.

But yeah id say Gyarados for Dragon. Tiger shouldnt be Arcanine. Just going by the Colours is silly. Raikou fits much better. Despite them being called Dogs we know that Entai is a Lion and Raikou is a Tiger...dunno about Suicune though.

Charizard isn't even a Dragon. The ultimate Dragon - and the ultimate dragon, period - is Rayquaza. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Fatass Charizard is NOTHING compared to the unbridled power of the gods that Rayquaza weilds.

Snake- Is Dunsparce a snake?

Horse- Horsea

Monkey- Mankey (can't believe it was forgotten, the poor thing!)

Dog- Granbull

I think Mankey should get struck off the list and replaced by Piloswine in the pig category.

For dog, well... that's kinda hard but I think you should remove Electrike, since it looks more like a Lion Cub, and add Absol
