Wouldn't a mathematics teacher be also likely to notice if someone typed, for instance, '-' instead of '+'?

How would changing a math symbol make the teacher notice that something had changed?

Wouldn't changing the symbol result in the person getting the wrong answer?

Isn't that why you should be careful and not make typos?

Isn't Kyle referring to the fact that I'm a teacher? But how does that work, if spelling mistakes have been ringing alarms in my head ever since I was a child, probably because my parents treated them as a really big deal? Does the ability to notice typos make one more likely to become a teacher?

What if someone who is good at noticing typos didn't want to be a teacher, and instead had more interest in working in a completely different field?

Couldn't that person work as an editor at a book publishing company?

Couldn't that person do whatever kind of job they want, provided they're capable of doing it?

What if that person has just a slight handicap that prevents him or her from working like anybody else in that profession?

Do you mean something that prevents them from doing that job (in which case they wouldn't fall into the 'capable' category), or something that requires some adjustments at the workplace, like enabling Text To Speech and stuff like that? If it's the latter, shouldn't they still be able to do it?

What if something prevents them from doing that work as effectively as a fully capable person would do it but they still could do it, only slower and/or less effectively?

Wouldn't anti-discrimination laws allow the person to still have a chance to get the job?

Does it count as discrimination if they hire someone else instead because they can do the job more effectively?

If it counts as discrimination, wouldn't it be hard to prove?
