Well now. The liner pulls in, and I finally arrive at the Fight Area. My pants arent wet at all. That's all I really care about. Not to worry, as I see that Ayeun is happily waiting for me at the dock. Tomboyish as usual, she looks like she just got out of a fight, but she's rearing to go.

We walk in and her competitor, moh, pops out from that house. Looks like he got a free meal. Lucky. The pair decide to start off right to the left of the Pokemon center. This ought to be good. I'm gonna just stand back and watch this match start.

Huh, and they both release grass types. Bulba and Tangela. Bulba watches Tomot as the viney one wriggles inward, before firing off a slew of spores off its body! Bulba points his bulb at the incoming spores and fires a controlled, yet still haywire Whirlwind that sucks it up and carries it away.

As the tornado goes and causes havoc right down the road for some sailors moving cargo, Tomot tries to take advantage of the situation by splitting up into clones. It works as Bulba is slow in realizing this, and fies a Leech Seed that flies past a Tangela.

No worries. Bulba isin't too worried. They're both grass types after all, this should be tricky. Tomot and his motely crew move in to overtake teh Bulbasaur, forcing his back to the Center. He fires a Sludge Bomb left and flips to the right, hoping for a hit, but ends up hearing only a sploosh. The Bomb hits the ground and he gets tackled by invisible waves. They sting more than air should hurt, and he rolls a bit, the Tangela keeping a safe distance.

Bulba notes the situation, and tries to make the best of it. Bulbawatches for a sec as the small vinebush makes a strange pattern, a sheen going up in front of it like a windowpane of energy. Bulba fligs a few leaves in its direction, ripping the clone to shreds and hitting Tomot.

Bulba hustles over, firing off a massive amount of Sludge at Tomot. The Tangela freaks and tries to make a grand escape, but Bulbasaur is too fast and Tomot is railed by the stinky attack. Vine whip out in retaliation, and they tickle Bulbasaur till he's weak in the knees.

Bulba gets up, still chuckling. Tomot doesnt find it funny at all, and raises a shield as Bulbasaur tried to show off its swagger. That manly strut dun work here buddy. Tomot reclaims his positioning, standing a little away from the right side of the archway to the Battle Frontier.

By the archway, Tomot rallies for a great big ball of sun. The skies heed his call, but at the same time, these weird spores get in the way. Knowing what they were instantly, Tomot runs down the path, but ends up falling asleep mid run. No good, no good at all.

Glad the mass of vines is asleep, Bulba waddles over and just straight spits on him. The acidic properties begin burning into the vines, eating at them voraciously. Tomot wriggles uncomfortably, but somehow he slept through it.

Well, may as well. A massive Sludge Bom was fired as Bulba backflipped, and fired it from his bulb. The knockback threw Bulba to his feet some yards away, back still toward the center. Tomot bounced from the hit, but still lied there, sleep.

The few people in the area note the use of the Sun and try to deal with its glare as it shines down on the battlers. Tomo is down for the moment, and Bulba continues to take full advantage of the situation. A small Sludge splat falls on him, and it burns summore. Tomot responds by kicking his feet in anguish, and that in turn forces a strange effect....

Bulbasaur goes for a second Sludge attack, but finds that attack mysteriously erased from its memory! Tomot winces, and seems to relish in its small victory, even though its asleep. Another few vines wiggle and suddenly a rush of energy propels Tomot up and into Bulba. Goos Sleep Slam there!

Tomot bounces backwards and wakes up from that attack apparently! Bulbasaur, miffed his Sludge attack was somehow ineffective, retaliates with a Sludge Bomb. The Bomb flies through a mist of spores that latch and stick to Bulba's skin, paralyzing him.

The sun still burns, and Bulba holds its head up. Tomot stands up, and shakes its vines out.

Tomot, finally up and awake and all that jazz, backpedals and speeds around Bulba, heading toward what you might call the "town" in Fight Area. Man, sunlight does wonders for that guy. He even left a small piece of himself behind, Which Bulba Tackles with extreme prejudice.

Bulba stares, that damn Tomot was still standing somehow. A swift vine went out and slaps it away, but the real Tangela was merely waiting in from of the Pokecenter. Trying to do something it knew nothing about.

Bulba whips around, ant notes Tomot over there shuffling. How'd he do that. No matter! A swift lashing of vine will set him straight! Or not, as Bulba cringed, paralysis tickling his body into submission. A Sludge Bomb came barreling his way as well, Tomot not playing anymore games with the planimal.

With the sun down, Tomot feels his warmth leave. No matter, he still has a plan. And Bulba over there was playing with energy in some sort of weird way. So Tomo took the time to reconfigure his game plan, splittig up into 4 Tangelas.

Bulba meanwhile, had made an Energy Ball, and proceeded to eat it, boosting his attack parameters.

Satisfied, not Bulba...stared at all the Tangelas. He groaned and lashed out but yep, it was a fake. Not a good time to be deceived, as Tomo fired off a Sleep Powder It seemed to come from three ways, so Bulba was trapped. Down he goes, into lalaland.

Still asleep, Bulba underwent a bit of paralysis. That gave Tomot enough time to cast another Reflect. The Tangela smiled, glad that sleep was more important that attacking.

Wincing in sleep, Bulba finally managed out a Snore that made Tomot's head hurt. The clones however, still stood. But the Tangela jumped around in response, ready to dish some nasty damage.

Bulba rolled on its back and flexed its feet in the air, as Tomot charged up a nasty attack. Bulba managed another Snore, and this one knocked a clone into nonexistance-as well as bugging Tomot. But that didn't stop him from firing off a massive Hyper Beam!

The Poor Bulbasaur. He's flying..flying..damn he's at the docks!

With Bulba clear across the area, Tomot realizes its time to do some hiking. What really sucks is that he has to leave his reflective shield behind. Horror and Tomot casually stroll through the fight area, and soon enough reach a screeching Ayeun urging her Bulbasaur to wake up. But now, he rolls over and swats her away with a vine. She falls into the water, and he Snores in his triumph.

The Snore forces the clone that Tomot had to wash away, but Tomot still held on. Barely. Right?

Bulbasaur was a sleeper. A strong Snore echoed across the dock, and even as Garia was just getting used to her surroundings, she felt its shockwave. Well that's untimely of him! She spouts off at the mouth, calling it all sorts of things that just hurts a plants feelings.

I think that might be a new method for me. Piss someone off in their sleep, and they wake up pissed! Bulba flipped up with a start, his back aching from sleeping and from the Hyper Beam. But no, he was gonna bash her skull in for calling him a poopeater. Not his fault they put it in fertilizer! However, Garia was more focused on defense, as she set up a Reflective barrier right when he charged. Bulba connected but it was minimal at best.
