Quick as a flash, Tyrant focuses, and rips your feet free, then lifts all 4 of you in to the air. Smack focuses and creates a safeguard, keeping you and yours protected from dangerous statuses for the next 5 actions. Just in time, as a ring of black shadow encompasses the 4 of you, which does nothing.

A pair of black, shadowy hands are still gripping on to your legs, and that is exactly where Smack targets her Earthquake. The earth shakes, and moves, and the hands release you, before the monstrosity rises out of the ground, and faces you.



Darkrai focuses on Tyrant, and wiggles its hands. You find yourself back on the ground... Tyrant is Disabled (3 actions)!

Smack moves in, fists raised, and delivers a smashing blow to Darkrai, who responds with another wiggle of his fingers... Oh no! Smack is ALSO disabled (3 actions)!

Skitty listens to your description, and leaps in to action with a Thunderwave, paralyzing Darkrai. Both Smack and Tyrant stand there unable to move or act, while Darkrai vanishes in to the shadows, appearing behind Tyrant, and clobbering his shadowy mass, before returning to its original placement.

Skitty sings a little tune, lulling Darkrai in to sleep, where it suffers the effects of its own nightmares.

Tyrant regains its ability to move, and moans something frightfully mean about Darkrai's. Skitty speeds foward and slaps Darkrai a few times for good measure, waking it up, where it proceeds to punch Skitty, draining a bit of health.

OK... I see one way to do this. And it's not gonna work well, but I'll try anyway.

First off, I'm gonna point out to skitty that we are screwed. Unless it helps me out. I'm gonna think to myself "If it helps out, we may be screwed. Dunno yet." It's already seen what Darkrai can do to it, and it's hardly gonna sit back and leave things to chance. Skitty's best chance of survival is to help me.

Second off, I'm gonna ask skitty to thunderwave one of them. Don't care which. Kangaskhan will roar, in an attempt to scare one of them away for a bit. And Tyrant will confuse one of them with Confuse Ray. I want all 3 moves going at different ones, but I don't care which goes where.

Third step. I know a match that I can't win when I see one. One of them is slowed down by paralyzation (hopefully). One of them is heading the wrong direction. And one of them thinks maybe running into a wall is the right direction. The other two can give chase to me. I'm running.

Stopping and facing your foes, you turn your attention to Mismagius. Skitty is with you, and his speed jumps him in there first. Vanishing from site, Skitty delivers a shocking blow behind Mismagius. Followed imediatly by a Dark pulse from Tyrant, Mismagius attempts to deliver a Shadow ball to Tyrant, but flinches from the Dark pulse! Smack takes the oppurtinity to take a Crunch of Mismagius, whoms defence suffers from the attack. Gengar chooses to hold the battle here, by delivering a Mean look to Skitty. (You can flee, but you abandon Skitty to the ghosts. Your call)

Continuing from the momentum of last round, Skitty vanishes again, striking Mismagius again in the back. Mismagius AND Gengar both deliver a punch to the poor skitty... SUCKER! Tyrant fires a Shadowball, and Smack takes a big bite out of Mismagius.

Realizing that she is the target, Mismagius throws up a protect, forcing the attack to hit Gengar instead. Skitty again vanishes and delivers a massive blow to Gengar from behind, who responds with a wiggle of its purple fingers, preventing Skitty from acting for 2 actions. Enraged by this, Smack and Tyrant deliver a combo Crunch and Dark Pulse, trying to protect their new friend. The after effect isn't pretty.

What's the plan? Same thing as last round. Rip a new one into mismagius.

Smack: Roar at gengar until he flees, and then Crunch into mismagius. If mismagius is dead or protecting, relax. If mismagius is dead by the last move, use Ice Beam on Spiritomb.
Tyrant: Dark pulse x3 on mismagius. If mismagius is dead/protecting, switch to gengar. If that doesn't work because gengar has fled/is protecting/dead, target spiritomb. If that doesn't work, relax. Sorry for the long list of options.

Deciding to not abandon the poor skitty to the angry ghosts, you continue the fight.

Establishing a bit more control, Smack roars at Gengar, sending the ghostie packing for 4 actions. Tyrant delivers a Dark pulse to the Mismagius for some nice damage, who responds with an Energy ball to Smack, causing some light damage.

With Gengar running off in fear, the onslaught continues, with Smack taking another big bite out of Mismagius, and a half arsed Dark pulse finishing her off. Just in time, because the enemy Spiritomb just arived.

Smack spits out a beam of ice, and gets one hell of a lucky shot, freezing Spiritomb in a block of ice (70% frozen, 30% chance to act, defrosts at 5% per action). Tyrant laughs and he fires of a final Dark pulse, and skitty regains his ability to act, striking at the back of Spiritomb, who beats the odds, and delivers a Spite attack, cutting back the energy of Smack. This is going to put a dampener on your momentum.

Smack starts off Roaring at Dusknoir. The ungainly ghost bails again, swearing vengeance... Tyrant fires off a ray of dark energy at Gengar, searing him for some major damage. Gengar responds by attempting to put Smack to sleep, which appears to work, but only for a second. Skitty dives for the shadow, delivering a blow behind the Gengar. Spiritomb delivers a spite to Smack. Banette arives to deliver some carnage... Things are about to get messy.

Smack, very much awake right now, takes a bite out of the shocked Gengar. Gengar has had enough of this, and decides that its time to get rid of one of the three. Knowing that he is about to go down, Gengar sacrifices his remaining life to lay a curse on Tyrant. This is bad!!! Tyrant fires off its next dark pulse at Banette, who is shocked to see two of his companions down. Banette decides that its time for some payback, and Smack is the target! Skitty delivers a STAGGERING WORLD SHAKING blow to Banette, who has no idea what just happened. So much for winning this plan... Finally, spiritomb tries, and fails, to deliver another spite.

Returning to the fray, Dusknoir begins with a Shadow ball directed at Skitty. The 3 way tag team fire off a Crunch/Faint attack/Dark pulse combo, all directed at Banette, who drops. Spiritomb looks on as he is helpless to act. Damn Ice!!!

The curse drains away some of Tyrant's health. This could be bad!

Why is Smack paralyzed? Shouldn't Heal Bell have removed that? And, if Tyrant is cured from the curse, why is he being hit by the curse at the end of the match.

In any case, with Darkrai taunted, he can't do anything to stop me from getting Spiritomb healthy again.
