*ahem* Welcome one and all to the new-look Silver Pencils! Aren’t they so new and silvery? This year we’ve taken the awards to the Next Level by basing them mainly on the members of our fanfic board, but of course there are categories for the fics as well! For those subversive to change, not to worry: the Golden Pens are coming soon, bigger and better than ever, and they will focus mainly on the fics themselves.

But for now, let’s begin! The awards this year will run in three sections:

1) The Fiction Awards.
2) The Author Awards.
3) The Community Awards.

Basically, we need you guys to tell us who you want to win! You can vote for as many of the categories, or as few, as you like! Just remember, one fic per category, and only nominating for the same category once. Nominate simply by posting in this topic. Also, please don't edit your original post if you forget a vote, because then it won't be counted – and each time you nominate, do so in a new, separate post.

One final, important reminder for all people: DON’T NOMINATE YOURSELF, or you will be shot with a rusty screwdriver!

And we mean that in the nicest possible way, of course.
