    Default Clash of the Scions (SIGN UPS)

    In the beginning, the gods took the ten elements that made up the earth, and from them bore ten entities of light, the Scions. These beings possessed greater strength and magicks beyond that of the fledgling race known as Humanity. In fact, the Scions were created to act as the caretakers of humanity. These divine beings would nurture the race, help them grow and thrive in the world that was formed for them.

    However, where there is light, there must be darkness. When the Scions were born, from their shadows arose another set of beings, entities of darkness that shared the strength and power of the Scions. As the originals were the Scions of Light, these new beings were the Scoins of Darkness.

    The gods did not know what to do with their dark children at first. But then, a task was devised. While the Scions of Light would nurture Humanity, the Scions of Darkness would protect them from the evils of the world, taking them into themselves so spare their siblings of light and Humanity from them. And for that, they would be admired and praised for their sacrifice.

    However, feared by Humanity, and scorned by the Scions of Light for their impurity, the Scions of Darkness looked to the gods with vengeful eyes, feeling betrayed and tormented, after their ‘noble’ sacrifice. Seeking revenge, the children of darkness raged war against their creators, only to be stopped and subdued by their light brethren.

    After the battle was one, the Scions of Light felt pity on their mistreated brethren. Instead of killing them, they contained their spirits in the bodies of humans, so that they could experience the nurturing care that they brought to humanity. However, to the children of darkness, this was an act of humiliation, to force them to be lower than then, to be lorded over by them. And so, despite their human forms, they waged a second rebellion against the gods. The Scions of Light vanquished their dark brethren, only realising soon after their destruction, they their souls will continue on, being reborn into humans over and over again. In order to prevent this, the Scions of Light too took to human bodies, and throughout the centuries were reborn again and again, keeping an ever watchful eye on their condemned siblings.

    Now, years later. In the modern day of man, a bright comit soared over the skies of man. This comet, while bringing a pleasant sight to all those that see it, also brought something else. One by one, the memories and powers of the entrapped Scions of Darkness were unlocked. The rage and hatred that they had long since forgotten was rekindled

    The war that had occurred at the dawn of humanity, was about to begin again.

    Ok, explanation time. This RPG is set in the modern day, so cars, computers, all that technology, are available in this timeline. Basically, the Scions of Light, in human form, have been watching their dark counterparts, the Scions of Darkness, in case their memories and powers returned, having locked them away to prevent them from starting another war, a chance for them to live normal lives.

    However, a strange comet has appeared and the Scions of Darkness have regained their memories and abilities, and they are itching for payback.

    The Scions can sense eachother, allowing them to find eachother in this world, however, a Scion can conciously suppress their aura, preventing others from sensing them, if they wish to hide.

    With their powers restored, the Scoins can now assume their true forms, unleashing their full power. They can still use their powers in their human forms, but not as strongly.

    In terms of weaponry, the Scions can call their weapon out from nowhere, so no worries about carrying it around for everyone to see.

    Ok, time for a little explanation of the two sides:

    Scions of Light
    Beings of light, created from the ten elements that form the world. They were created to act as the caretakers of humanity, but after the two wards with the Scions of Darkness, they assumed human form to watch over their dark counterparts. Unlike the Scions of Darkness, they retained their memories and powers throughout their many life cycles, though they keep them hidden as they watch over them, hoping to keep their memories hidden. While they are the enemies of the Scions of Darkness, they bare no hatred towards them. In fact, they feel some guilt as it was their actions that caused the war.


    Scions of Darkness
    Created as a byproduct of the Scion of Lights’ creation, the Scions of Darkness were assigned to take the evils of the world into their bodies, to protect the others from them. Initially intended to be honoured for their sacrifice, the evils they took in warped their bodies, causing them to be spurned by humanity and the Scsons of Light. This brought a great hatred of them and their gods, ultimately desiring revenge. Their memories and powers were sealed within their human bodies, though with the coming of the comet, their memories and powers are awakened, along with their rage. The Scions of Darkness do not consider themselves evil, as they feel they were wrongfully treated.


    Now, an explanation of the different elements:

    Fire
    Heat and fire, the ability to warm the cold, and to burn everything to ash.


    Water
    The ability to manipulate water, to sooth the thirsty, or to wash everything away.


    Wind
    The power over the wind, the ability to conjure up great hurricanes and tornados.


    Earth
    The earth and soil we stand on, to manipulate in whatever way we deem fit.


    Lightning
    Those brilliant arcs of power that appear during a storm, its great power can be used to power or to destroy.


    Ice
    The intense cold and all that it freezes.


    Ether
    The essence of life itself. Able to harness the energies emitted from every living thing.


    Poison
    Poisons and Diseases. To inflict or remove as you wish.


    Light
    The light itself, to be used as you deem worthy.

    Darkness
    The darkness and the shadows are at your command.

    Appearance (Human): Xavior is a rather thin, sickly young man, often confined to a wheelchair due to frailness. His pale blonde falls shaggily down to his chin, covering his right eye, and his eyes are a dull green. His skin is pale, due to spending most of his time inside, and has a rather thin face. He wears a white, buttoned up shirt, black pants and black shoes. As previously mentioned, he's normally confined to a wheelchair. Overall, a rather pitiful looking person.
    Appearance (Scion): Zedona's true form is about double the size of a regular human, and resembles a gigantic, gaunt corpse of a human. With green skin, and black veins visible, black ooze constantly oozes from his eyes like tears. His eyes are very sunken and red, though his right eye seems to be missing entirely, showing only an empty socket. His hair is white, stringy, and falls just past his shoulder. His arms are much longer in proportion to his body, ending in large, sharp claws. His only form of clothing is a pair of torn, black pants. A large, ornate metal ring is attached to his back, haloing his head. Once beautiful, it has been warped and tarnished beyond recognition.
    Personality: Zedona is a pitiful being, often filled with loathing for both himself, and his condition. Like all the other Scions of Darkness, he has a deep hatred for the Scions of Light, often mistaking any act of kindness they show to be an act of humiliation. He is very self concious about his looks, and as a result prefers to use his true form as rarely as possible. As a result, he tends to use his intelligence to deal with matters and avoid confrontation. Because of this, he's one of the most intelligent of the Scions of Darkness.
    Weapon(s): Apart from his claws, Zedona possesses a large scythe, fitting for his size, called the Nuckelavee. With a long handle and a large blade, it looks about as warped and corrupt as he is. He's able to wield this weapon one handed, making his reach even longer.
    Abilities: Zedona is able to poison and spread diseases through contact. This includes causing plants to wilt and die, poisoning water supplies, and inducing illness in living organisms. It should be noted that this only works through physical contact
    Signature Magick: Mortasheen - Zedona inhales deeply, before unleashing a thick, black fog, containing a deadly illness that affects all cought in it, whether it be human, animal, or plant. Strong enough to affect even the Scoins, it is capable of being healed, but only by their power. In terms of medical science, it is a disease unlike any they've seen, and so a cure is not readily available.
    History: Born unintentionally from the shadow of the poison Scion of Light, Zedona, like the others, was tasked with taking the evils of the world into themselves to protect the others. In Zedona's case, it was to take the evils of plagues and diseases into his being. This caused him to change from his once beautiful form, into the twisted monstrosity he is now. Once very beautiful, now scorned and feared, Zedona took part in the uprising and was ultimately defeated. After his soul was bound in human form, he and his bretheren tried again, only to have their memories and abilities sealed away, effectively making him a normal human. Over the centuries, he was reborn time and time again, each time his human form would carry some form of crippling medical condition, possibly due to him being the Scion of poison.

    Now, in the modern day, the mysterious comet has rekindled his memories and abilities. He remembers the countless lives he lived in illness and died, just like in this one was born frail and weak. Seeing it all as one big act of torture by the Scoins of Light, Zedona now desires to make each and every one of them suffer, just as he had for all these centuries.
    Relations: Zedona has a close relationship with Nazara. Her 'kindness' towards him has caused him to be almost very dependant on her, completely unaware she cares little for him.
    Other: Trivia - A number of Zedona's traits, such as his weapon and special attack, are based on the mythical beast of Orkney folklore, the Nuckelavee.

    Appearance: Medium length black hair, blue gray eyes. About 5'8" with a slim but muscular body structure. Her mother was Japanese and her father was Irish so she looks like a mix between the two. Despite this and some of the cultural things she shares with her parents she is all american lol

    Clothing and Gear: . Likes to wear shirts that show her stomach, and flare jeans or medium length shorts with japanese style sandals. Has her white and gray striped cat Sushi with her always.

    Personality: Optimistic and uplifting, she always has a song in her mind. Loves to sing as loud as she wants reguardless of whos around. Has a melodic voice that reminds people of a sweet summer day, the warm sun and a cool breeze. She feels emotions strongly, and sometimes the air around her becomes charged with electricity because of it
    (a warm buzzing feeling in those around her if shes happy or excited and a tense staticy feeling when shes pensive or upset) Likes her life to be well ordered and peaceful and when its not, it unbalances her completely. When shes stressed she gets moody and withdrawn, choosing to avoid her friends rather than let them see her in that state. Has a temper if she feels she is being held down or made to do things she deems pointless or not necissary. Likes her freedom ^v^

    History: She grew up on a quiet suburban street, enjoying what some would call the good life. Her parents werent rich, but they were still very well off, but despite this she didnt grow up spoiled. Her parents both came from poor families, and, not wanting to raise a child that took things for granted, made her work for everything she has. Because of this she gets slightly embarrassed when people see how well off they are, she doesnt like feeling like people will treat her differently for it..

    She enjoys using her powers but mostly just uses it on instinct. Because of its potentially harmful nature to humans, she doesnt really practice shooting bolts of electricity at things, and shes not much into technology because she tends to break it with the static. Likes to use it to pick up radio stations in her mind though lol When she sings to her its an emotional thing, she FEELS the music.Singing thrills her as much as thunderstorms.

    Shes not the type who shoves singing in other peoples face or thinks she is the best singer ever, she just feels good when she sings so she does it. It makes her feel at peace with the world, when she sings outside it makes her feel attuned to nature.Is currently attending the local state college, in which she is majoring in animal care/veterinary studies.

    Gender: Female

    Light or Darkness: Darkness
    Appearance (Human): A beautiful woman- Nazara or Claire lacks any imperfections. Her skin fair, with intense sapphire coloured eyes that can cut through anybody. Physical she’s lithe and has lean, athletic build, with a modest bust. She stands at 5’10’’, with charcoal black hair that’s layered and comes down to just past her shoulders (similar to Lightning Farron's hairstyle). She’s usually dressed in some sort of tank/spaghetti strap top and jeans with some tears in them. Nazara also loves jewellery, so she’s always seen wearing bangles, necklaces, and/or rings.
    Appearance (Scion): Nazara’s Scion form is far from magick or fantasy, in fact it looks like something out of sci-fi. Transforming into a ‘ship’ of sorts, very angular and futuristic, Nazara’s scion form actually has a cockpit, in which one (max of two, one being a passenger or prisoner) scion can jump in and take control. Nazara’s form is white and charcoal black, with glowing blue portions of light on it. A weakness to the form is an enemy scion can also take control of the form, though she can put up one hell of a fight to get them out. It looks much like this, for a lack the ability to describe it.
    Personality: Nazara is a charismatic, brilliant leader. Charged with originally fighting the corrupt, Nazara knows war and plays it like a game of chess. She’s patient, and always planning three or four moves ahead. Towards her brethren, she’s calm, caring, charming and alluring. Against the enemy, she’s merciless, cruel but cool-headed. Though passionate in her pursuit for vengeance, Nazara has learnt from past battles not to let it get to her head. One thing both sides know about Nazara, she won’t strike unless she had a strategic advantage, sometimes letting her allies take the fall as she just watches, analyzing the battlefield and learning what she can from afar. One of her far lesser known traits is manipulation (often in the form of kindness), both of the enemy and of her allies (like Zedona).
    Weapon(s): In her human form, Nazara can summon a blade made of blue light, which appears as an unstable ‘blade’ like shape made of various geometric shapes. . She can also summon a shield of light to protect her (and whoever is close and directly behind her) from damage. The light-blade can be switched into a sort of gauntlet-gunblade, able to shoot laser bursts at the enemy. In either form, the blade can cut through nearly anything, except weapons that the scions of either side use, or pick-up (ie. If asi’s char picks up a crowbar to defend herself, my char’s blade can no longer slice through it).
    In her scion form, Nazara has numerous laser turrets and missile depots at her advantage. Only problem is, the more powerful weaponry requires a pilot to activate and utilize. In her ship form, Nazara’s shield ability becomes a projected shield around herself, deflecting damage until the shield has been depleted. She can also cloaked, to hide her scion form for a time.
    Abilities: She can manipulate light, and can see in near-darkness due to her ability to pick-up light far more easily than anyone else. She can also travel short distances near-instantaneously, like teleporting. This causes opponents who choose to fight her in melee combat extreme difficulties.
    Signature Magick: She releases many bursts of light, in the form of lasers, orbs, and finally a massive sphere emanating form her. The lasers and orbs can easily kill and/or destroy anyone or anything that get in their way, while the burst of light burns out the retinas and gives flash skin-cancer to anyone either unlucky enough to stare into the sphere or close enough (the distance varies, as it fully depends on how hard she concentrated before releasing the attack) for its effect to take place.
    History: Born of the shadow of the Scion of Light, Nazara was originally charged with purging evil from the world and absorbing it. Once personifying justice, charity and empathy, Nazara became twisted by the dark souls she took in, becoming the embodiment of vengeance, envy and hatred. Nazara sought revenge on the original scions, wanting to punish them and the gods for cursing her brethren in such a way. One of the worst scions, she spear-headed the campaign against the creators and the original scions, and she left death and destruction in her wake.
    The second rebellion was not led by her, but she played another key role in staging it.
    Awakened by the strange comet, Nazara’s original traits came back and she took her amnesia as a personal attack. Nazara is quickly and quietly trying to find her brethren and followers to stage another, far more violent fight against the scions of light and the creators. She is determined this time not to fail.
    Relations: She’s close with Zedona, or at least he thinks they are. Though Nazara cares about the plague, she cares for him like someone would care for their dog they keep chained up in the backyard. She sees him as a useful tool and plays up their friendship to keep him comfortable. Despite thinking so lowly of him, Nazara is kind to Zedona and is has been there in past battles to get him out of trouble. She has him wrapped around her finger, and she plans to keep it that way. And open to others!!
    Other: She adores dancing, and is quite good at it.

    OK, to prevent double post, I'm going to include the character profile here. Let me know if there's something amiss.

    Human Name: Tellus Shields
    True Name: Chronos D. Titan
    Age: 22
    Gender: Male
    Element: Earth
    Light or Darkness: Light

    Appearance (Human): Tellus is an average young man, however, being a bit small between the group of the scions, with only Five feet and Four inches tall. Despite this, his somewhat bulky physique compensates his lack of height (although it doesn’t give him the appearance of being a strong guy). His curly hair, brown eyes, small lips and light brown skin reflect his behavior: being someone who does not like to draw attention. Having this in mind, he prefers to dress in a pretty normal way: a black and brown t-shirt, jeans, a pair of black shoes, no jewelry and a plain, low haircut.

    Appearance (Scion): When Tellus Transforms into Chronos, his appearance resembles that of a Paladin made of Stone. However his height only reaches six feet giving him the appearance of a small golem. His “helmet” ends up with two spikes rising from its “ears” and the only hole in the helmet is where his golden eyes glow. His chest becomes a big platemail (made of stone, of course) with wide shoulderplates which he can use to deliver devastating tackles. His legs become two pair of big boots and his hands, when closed; resemble two square maces which can deliver devastating punches. If necessary, he can use his weapons (which acquire both double size and power) in combination with his body to fight in close combat.

    Personality: As a person: Chronos is a reserved kind of guy. His plain characteristics give him the “advantage” that not too many people take interest in him. However, his objective reasoning and mature comments can be a magnet for people around him, and thus he prefers not to talk unless necessary. He has an affinity for psychology, since he enjoys himself by watching and studying people. The only thing that bothers him (and haunts him) is that he still feels sadness due to the war against the Scions of Darkness. Because of this, he does anything to avoid trouble (hence his reasoning ability, which he uses to talk things out) and prefers not getting too close to people. His flaws are that he can be stubborn sometimes, drastic when taking decisions and slow to act.

    Paradoxically, as a friend, Chronos is a friendly and caring person around his friends. However, he has trouble showing emotions, and thus, he is constantly looking for ways to let other people know that they can count on him. His fellow Scions understand this kind of behavior (since they know what he has gone through), but he has problems when establishing friendship with humans, since this develops a mental struggle in him which can makes him become unsteady and confused. Knowing this, he prefers to “watch humanity from the sidelines” and talk to his fellow Scions.

    Weapon(s): Flanged mace, Battle hammer and Battle Maul (Flange Mace and Battle Hammer being one handed and use together and Battle Maul being used as a two handed weapon). He can switch between each set of weapons to adapt into the flow of battle.

    Abilities: Chronos has the ability to feel enemies on the ground as long as he is in contact with it. He can also manipulate the ground to a certain degree, since he focuses more on melee and close range combat. Some of these abilities are lifting chunks of earth and moving them at will, opening fissures (although these ones are not of great size) and making the earth shake. However, in order for him to be able to cast each move, he needs to have a focused mind (not having troubles nor distractions weighting him) and he needs time to cast each one. This is why he becomes very analytical and focused when facing an opponent.

    Signature Magick: Terra Unda – With great concentration, Chronos can swing his maul to the ground and use his elemental control to send a shockwave capable of making waves of dirt (literally) towards his enemies. This move is very powerful, since it slows down his opponent when it hits. However, since the shockwave goes into all directions, it can be devastating to his surroundings, and even to his teammates. This is why he must maintain communication with his fellow colleagues when facing his opponents.

    History: If there’s a Scion who does not forget the pain and the memories of the war between the Light and Dark Scions, this would be Chronos. Having an affinity to earth, he rarely changes his mind, and because of this, he still hopes to find a way to change the blood feud between each one of them.

    Chronos was a bit impulsive before the events of the first rebellion. He would quickly shout what he thought, and this would often get him into confrontations with any Scion. It was no wonder that he disliked the Scions of Darkness when they were created. In spite of this he could interact to a certain degree with them. He even managed to establish a good friendship with one of them. When the rebellion came, he fought while holding back a bit, but thanks to this, a dark scion defeated him. His fellow comrades won the war, but this carved a painful memory in his head: the sadness reflected on his fellow Scions of Light and the pain emanating from the Scions of Darkness (especially her’s). This is why he agreed when the proposition of containing them in human form was established. This gave him the chance to find the reasons as to why he was defeated. He watched some of the dark Scions, but this resulted in the Scions becoming suspicious of him. The second rebellion came, but an unexpected event caused him to be unable to fight through most of the war. He and the other light scions eventually vanquished their dark brethren, but in the process he realized that he lost something which he wishes to recover again.

    After the second rebellion, he took the chance that the Gods gave him to be a human to learn from his mistakes. While watching his fellow Scions of Darkness live on the earth with their memories concealed and learning from the virtues of the humans, he decided to change his behavior almost completely: Being an objective person instead of being impulsive, avoiding confrontations instead of creating them and thinking of the consequences of his decisions. However, the memories of the wars have left him with the fear of having his friends too close to him. He is very afraid of treachery and pain, and this is why he is also afraid of developing feelings for both friends and for romance. He cares for his friends but he keeps them at a certain distance.


    Relations: He is friends with his fellow Scions, although he does not has a close friendship with any of them. He knows that this will not last forever, as there is always someone who will, sooner or later, break his barrier of separation. He also used to have a close friendship with a certain scion of darkness, and he knows that this may affect him.

    Other: Other than his flaws mentioned above, it is important to point out that Chronos main weakness is wind, since this element is dynamic (as opposite to earth's constant nature).

    Trivia: Apart from the obvious reference to the titan Cronus, his weaponry and his True form (and even some of his characteristics) are inspired by Kendal of the Kingdom Under Fire series (his Scion form resembles his costume on KUF2).

    Appearance (Human): Dylan stands at approximately 6' and his weight fluctuates around 200 lbs. He keeps his brown hair short enough that he doesn't require a comb, and his blue-gray gaze is usually dull. His appearance, though it could be considered attractive, doesn't stand out and is mostly unremarkable. When not working, he typically wears blue jeans and concert T-shirts. He's light-skinned, but his exposed skin is more tan. He has a wiry frame but surprising strength.

    Appearance (Scion): Moshinas' physical proportions are roughly equivalent to Dylan's, but the resemblance ends there. His head is bald and he has a long, pale yellow beard whose hairs crackle and spark. His eyes are yellow-on-black and he does not blink - instead sparks snap from his pupils. He wears a black robe with intricate designs woven across it in copper. When enraged, his major veins glow bright blue.

    Personality: Within the confines of his job, Dylan is pleasant and accommodating to patrons. Beyond it, he is quiet and aloof, though never disrespectful. For the most part he shies away from the company of others, and he is slow to make friends because he is often misinterpreted as cold. He can be charming when he tries, but when he drops this façade he is stiff and awkward. He represses his rage and retains a wealth of patience, but can be prodded into violent outbursts.

    Weapon(s): Moshinas' signature weapon is a trident whose fork is serrated; electricity snaps and arcs between the teeth. Dylan Merrimack's swordsmanship (see Other) has encouraged him to also forge a serrated thinblade whose teeth similarly spark.

    Abilities: In human form, Dylan has limited control over electrical currents and can direct electrical flow to either enable or disable most mobile devices. He can charge batteries or drain them. He cannot be disoriented. Any electrical output short of what power cables can carry is completely irrelevant to him. He can absorb and discharge mild to moderate shocks, but outside of Scion form, his shocks cannot kill a human in good health. Without special circumstances, Dylan needs to be in direct physical contact with a target to employ his abilities upon it.

    In Scion form, Moshinas can generate, direct, or disrupt electrical currents of virtually any strength. He does not require physical contact for this ability. Technically he does not fly, but with concentration, he can hover on arcs of lightning for short periods. For fast movement, he can rail-grind on railroad tracks, power cables, or other conductive materials that travel in straight lines. He can also do this on lightning bolts he generates, but his movement in this mode is as chaotic as the lightning he rides and makes it virtually impossible for him to maneuver.

    Signature Magick: Shockwave - Moshinas can generate a radial blast of electricity that shorts out any electrical device in his immediate vicinity. It can tamper with biological functions (seizures, heart attacks, or arrhythmia) and leave electrical burns, but might not necessarily kill people within the blast zone.

    History: As with the other dark Scions, it was Moshinas' duty to absorb the evils of the world. He was possessed of intelligence, wisdom, and charisma, and took action when it was necessary - but when applied to the purpose of his creation, he absorbed the evils of both apathy and recklessness. He remains bright, but rarely brings himself into action for fear of failure or mistake... and when he does, it is usually a violent outburst of emotion and so it is without regard for consequence. Though once a very handsome and well-respected creature, his features were not twisted or disfigured so much as wiped blank; now there is little that would draw attention to him, save for his fickle attitude or flaunting his abilities, and these would only serve to disgust and frighten.

    Though he does hold the light Scions in contempt for their role in his restraint, he harbors a much more unholy hatred of the creators themselves. During the first rebellion, he was a violent and outspoken proponent of vengeance against those that scorned the dark Scions. But during the second rebellion, he did not actively participate almost until the final battle, having elected to be patient and seek a more proper time to strike. He was forced to reveal himself, however, when the loved ones of his human form were threatened - this once again encouraged a violent outburst that left many dead, and left him vulnerable and ultimately broken.

    With the coming of the comet, his memories are awakened once more... and knowing what he knows now, he would prefer to escape the notice of humanity, the light Scions, and the creators than confront them. Although resentful towards all of the above, he knows that he can't hope to exact any sort of satisfying revenge against any of them, and if he acts out on his own, he'll be quashed. Only with the other dark Scions can he hope to misbehave at all - and even then, he doesn't believe he can trust them.

    His vessel, Dylan Merrimack, works in retail for a home improvement store, and has few ambitions in life. He knows it, too, but he cannot find goals for himself in life, always feeling as though his life was intended to be meaningless right from the start. He has lived well away from his family for quite some time because he believes himself to be a disappointment in their eyes. He lives daily with frustration and despair, trying to find some measure of comfort or peace by doing the occasional kindness for others, but his actions are rarely noticed or appreciated.

    Relations: With humanity in general, Dylan is not rude or impolite, but neither does he appreciate most people, and prefers his solitude. He is not particularly comfortable around anyone. Light Scions - particularly {Asilynne's character} - make him extremely uncomfortable, even in non-combat conditions, as he has always felt a measure of inferiority to them since his creation. It is perhaps dark Scions that make him least uncomfortable, as they provide him with at least the illusion of a social life. But he doesn't trust them, nor does he care to hear monomaniacal rants against the light Scions or the creators... he doesn't want to talk or think about them at all if it can be avoided, as he suffers enough misery from life as it stands.

    Other: In his childhood, he played with sticks and branches as though they were swords, so his parents put him in training for competitive saber dueling, in which he was trained to near-expert level. Despite this training, and having continued practice every day, Dylan never applied it to true competition, fearing failure.

    The inspiration for this character comes largely from the image of Ramuh from various Final Fantasy games, and the abilities of Johnny Ohm from the video game Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. The modifier "the Thunder" is derived from the idea that his creation directly followed that of his light counterpart, just as thunder follows lightning.

    Personality: In contrast to the shy and sensible Karik, Fenrir is arrogant and rash. He acts on impulse and believes himself capable of anything. If he wants something he’ll take it, regardless of whether that something is an object or a person. He is merciless, especially in battle, and actually enjoys humiliating defeated opponents. He speaks what he thinks and doesn’t care for the consequences. He loves to cause chaos and disruption and will go out of his way just to make life a little more unpleasant for the people around him. For obvious reasons he hates it when it rains.

    Weapon(s): Just his bare hands. Usually whilst they’re on fire.

    Abilities: Fenrir cannot create fire he can only manipulate it through touch. Any flames that he has manipulated retain their form after contact until they encounter a target, run out of fuel, or are extinguished by water or strong winds. Any manipulated fire that he is still in contact with will not run out of fuel and cannot be extinguished by wind, only water. He is essentially fireproof and can extend this aspect to anyone or anything that he is in physical contact with. For laughs, he likes to manipulate fire horses and ride them through populated areas.

    Signature Magick: Fury of the Pack – Fenrir manipulates the fire into a pack of wolves. Unlike his usual manipulations, these wolves will never run out of fuel, cannot be extinguished by wind and will regain their wolf form should they encounter a physical object. Water is the only thing that can stop them. This move requires a large fire to begin with (an entire tower block would probably be the minimum blaze size with which he could pull this off). The size of the pack created is relative to the size of the blaze. Given the modern methods of fire prevention and control, the chances of him actually being able to use this move are slim.

    History: Born from the shadow of the Light Fire scion, Fenrir became a vessel for the dark fires of human nature: lust and rage. Over time he was consumed by them and they became the leading factors behind all of his decisions. Because of this, it was easy for Nazara to convince him to join the first rebellion, turning his never-ending rage against his creators. Following its failure, Fenrir decided to stay out of the second rebellion, predicting its failure. Instead, he turned his rage on the humans, carrying out a quest of anarchy based on the age-old tactic of raping and pillaging. It was during this time that he discovered the love of chaos so prevalent in his personality. With the light scions distracted by the rebellion he was able to bring much misery to the human race before finally being defeated. Reawakened by the comet, he’s more interested in bringing an end to humanity than the ones responsible for his creation.

    Karik is the only son of working class parents. He scraped his way through high school and got a job as an office slave in a town as far away as possible. Over the years he has watched numerous promotion attempts pass him by because his poor background in education has the office staff looking down on him. He has secretly been in love with Tessa since she started working there four years earlier. He makes just enough money to support himself whilst being able to go out on the odd occasion but his social circle is very small, limited to a few people he randomly met over the years.

    Relations: Has a lot of respect for Nazara after her attempt at leading the first rebellion but is sceptical of following her into battle again. Looks on Zedona with disdain, considering the frail scion to be inferior and generally weak.

    True Name: Graxdon

    Appearance (Human): Drake looks fairly average at 5'8". He has short and messy jet-black hair and sea green eyes. Is usually seen wearing a white polo shirt and blue jeans. Overall, nothing that stands out overall about him as he prefers to blend in with crowds.

    Appearance (Scion): Graxdon is basically a 7 foot tall Final Fantasy Dragoon colored navy blue minus their usual spear/lance they usually carry on them. The only thing that carries over to his Scion form from his human form, besides his personality, is his eye color.

    Personality: Drake/Graxdon usually tends to keep a cool head and remain calm and collected even under stressful situations, so much so that he often acts more like a stoned-out surfer than anything else. However, he can show his temper and warrior-like tendencies whenever he deems it fit to do so. Drake/Graxdon is also a firm believer in honor before duty following many samurai-like tendencies whenever in combat.

    Weapon(s): Even though he looks like a dragoon, Drake/Graxdon uses a pair of katanas in combat.

    Abilities: Drake/Graxdon has the cliché abilities: water-walking, breathing underwater, and water manipulation.

    Signature Magick: Sensui Ryu - Drake/Graxdon creates a fountain of water that shapes itself into a dragon that will attack the nearest foe and when it does it crashes into said foe and creates a tidal wave knocking others back. Excellent for offense and defense.

    History: If Chronos is the one who doesn't forget the pain and memories amongst the constant conflict with the Light and Dark Scions, then Graxdon is the one who maintains balance and order in their conflicts.

    Before the first rebellion started, Graxdon reasoned with the Scions of Darkness as best as he could to follow their task no matter what. The Dark Scions immediately called out his hypocrisy when it came to honor or reason, but Graxdon would argue that this only applied to him if he should ever get into combat. The Dark Scions refused to listen to his words up to the first rebellion. Once the were subdued, Graxdon was initially against sealing the Dark Scions into bodies but agreed nonetheless since he deemed it an honorable way to perform their task.

    However, after the second war, he was vehemently against the idea of vanquishing the Dark Scions arguing that they'll return somehow someway in time over and over again to maintain the balance between their factions and that their destruction would not be honoring their task nor theirs. In the end, he was convinced to do so anyway, but his suspicions turned out to be correct as they noticed the first reincarnation cycle of the Dark Scions.

    Throughout almost constant reincarnations, Graxdon has tried to maintain the balance with every conflict and still tries to reason with any of the Scions of Darkness before their conflict can begin anew.

    Relations: Has a friendly rivalry with the Light Scion of Fire and is good friends with the Light Scion of Ice.

    Other: Despite being an honorable person, Graxdon does do his fair share of cheating, especially when it comes to competition.

    Ok, a couple of problems with this Divine, mainly your character's usage of ice abilities. I know ice is frozen water, but I'm keeping the two seperate. It just seems a bit much if one scion can use two elements.

    Second, the prophecy bit just bugs me a little. For one part, the Dark Scions aren't necassarily evil. For the most part, they're fighting because they felt the Scions of Light and the gods betrayed them. And after the fighting that your character's done against them, they'd be less likely to accept you on their side, and more likely to straight up murder you. Why would your character even switch sides after killing the Dark Ice Scion anyway?

His hair is black and tied into a somewhat frayed shoulder-length ponytail by a white strip of fabric, and his icy blue eyes are hidden behind thin, wire-frame glasses. His 'wardrobe' consists of dark blue pants, worn-out work boots, and a brownish, patched vest over a wrinkled white sleeveless shirt.
    Appearance (Scion): Tsanjel is, to put it simply, a chimera: His body is an amalgamation of a bluish lion's torso, hind legs, mane, and head, a reddish ape's arms and hands, the black, leathery wings of a bat, and a vivid, green, scaley tail that is in actuality the neck and head of some sort of ravenous, wingless serpent. Midway between the 20-foot chimera's right shoulder and back is a second head that never speaks or stops moving its eyes. It resembles the head of an emaciated ram with long, twisted horns, and is a greyish-white color.
    Personality: Ivan is a cold, quiet figure. He pushes away everyone around him, or ignores them entirely. Despite his German descent, he speaks perfect English and has an advanced vocabulary and psyche. Despite his cold outward appearance, he honestly only acts the way he does in order to protect those around him.
    Weapon(s): Ivan's only 'weapon' is a 5-foot wooden stick that he uses as a walking stick, fishing pole, and bo staff amongst other things. When using his powers, it can take on the shape of any handled weapon, such as a sword or a mace.
    Abilities: Though weakened in a human form, Ivan's powers over the darkness make him one of the deadliest Scions alive. Any shadow, no matter how small or illuminated, can be manipulated by him and used to attack, defend himself, or escape confinement. He can place his hand or his shadow's over another being's in order to restrain their movement or move them to his whim. He can see in absolute darkness with no difficulty and can become a shadow himself to phase through obstacles and walls. Most dangerously of all, because absolute darkness is concurrent with total entropy and 0 Kelvin, Ivan's attacks are often mercilessly cold and suck the energy out of whatever they strike. Though difficult to do in his human form, he can reduce living beings and even sources of high heat to dust simply by vacuuming out all of their energy.
    Signature Magick: Vlastisteryet - Literally, 'power eraser.' Ivan makes physical contact with an entity and, like a black hole, sucks all the energy from it, leaving it either frozen at near Absolute Zero or as a pile of dust whose energy has been drained right down to the atomic bonds.
    History: Ivan has led what he calls a 'cursed' life. From the fire that killed his parents when he turned six to the collapse of his orphanage a few years later to the occurrence of Hurricane Katrina on his 18th birthday, in a New Orleans school, he considers himself personally responsible for the death of over 2,500 people to date.
    Tsanjel, personally, has always been in a somewhat paradoxical position. As the Scoin of the lighter half of darkness, he serves primarily to inspire hope even in times of great disaster. As such, his hosts have for generations been connected to natural disasters, surviving them in the hope that the host will grow strong enough for Tsanjel to be able to manifest his true strength.
    Unfortunately, most of his hosts have never survived the process. In the past they'd be executed as witches or sorcerers, and in more modern times most of his host's ill luck has driven them to insanity or suicide. Ivan is Tsanjel's newest attempt, but even the Scoins inevitably become desperate. And the burden of so many innocent lives combined with his powers' long-time surpressions has left him too weak to manifest himself for long.
    But with Ivan maintaining his physical and mental health even in the face of the disasters plaguing the 21st century nonstop, Tsanjel is slowly regaining his own hope - and his strength. It won't be long now until the two finally meet... What will happen then, however, is another story entirely...
    Relations: Virtually none - Tsanjel has an uneasy friendship with the other Scions of Light, with whom he can barely communicate most of the time. Ivan himself has no living family, and he rejects any sort of companions out of fear that they'll be his bad luck's next unwitting victims.
    Other: Ivan has no home, and spends most of his life living off the land of wherever he has settled for the moment. He prefers to be near fresh water if that's an option.

    Appearance (Human): Karis really lives up to her Scion’s name. Her hair is white blonde, side parted but otherwise doesn’t really have much of a style to it. There are no dark shades to her hair, if anything it only gets whiter. Her skin is pale, she has no freckles , moles or blemishes, so when she blushes, or if she bruises it’s very noticeable. Her eyes are a very bright and icey shade of blue, very unusual and stunning. Although some might describe her form as frail, it’s not, she’s just physically fit and naturally skinny. Her clothing never really stands out, just simple jeans and t-shirt combination, although she does have a few dresses and skirts she’ll wear occasionally. Currently it’s a pair of grey skinny jeans, with a pale blue plaid shirt over the top of a black tank top, the shirt left undone.

    Personality: Karis and Eirwyn certainly share one distinct personality trait: their strive for perfection. Where Karis trains hard every day on the ice rink, Eirwyn would train with her gunblade in order to always be fit for combat. Eirwyn was confident and outgoing, but in this incarnation, she’s a little more reserved and quiet, perhaps more careful in her choice of words. That being said, there is still a confident streak that runs through her that will act on impulses. She doesn’t like large groups of people, and enjoys the company of a few close friends. She doesn’t really enjoy hot, sunny days, and will always seek shade or avoid the midday sun as much as possible. On a similar note, she doesn’t feel the cold. She always thinks of others before herself, trying to please as many as possible, which often leads to her own downfall, and sometimes hurting others unintentionally.

    Weapon(s): Eirwyn forms her weapons from ice so cold that only she is able to hold them without her hands freezing to them. They don’t melt, as she maintains the correct temperature for them at all times. Her favourite and most commonly used weapon is a gunblade. It fires sharp ice bullets (don’t ask how, this is magic!), but she mostly uses its blade in close combat. However, if she is trying to be stealthy, her weapon of choice is an icey crossbow. Although the projectiles eventually melt, it’s the perfect murder weapon as the evidence disappears and only leaves a watery trace.

    Abilities: Her ice magic is very easy to use, since she can just freeze the water in the air around her to make her weapons. She can freeze pretty much anything, so long as it contains water (that’s right, including people). She can also manipulate the weather so that it either hails or snows and drop the temperature at will.

    Signature Magick: An Icebeam of sorts, that varies in shape and size depending on what she is using it for. It is most effective at adding a layer of ice to the ground, or freezing someone into place, but also can be used offensively as I've heard ice hurts quite a bit when it's hurled towards you.

    History: Before the first war, Eirwyn befriended a Scion of Light. Although they were close, she kept all knowledge of the planned rebellion to herself, and early on in the battles that were fought, she injured him to the point of being unable to battle. This was her way of saving him from harm, as she was sure that any of the other dark scions would have just killed him.
    Eirwyn fought hard in the first rebellion, under Nazara’s direction. After the humiliation of their first defeat, Eirwyn took up the reigns for the second rebellion. She sought out her Scion of Light, to explain the actions she felt she needed to take. They kept their secret of a renewed friendship for as long as possible, but some of the others began to notice as they seemed to get closer. Her viewpoint changed; she no longer wanted to destroy her overseers, she wished that she could instead be accepted by them.
    The problem is, she doesn’t remember much from the second rebellion. She doesn’t even know she was involved with a Light Scion, or that she led that rebellion, only that she should find Nazara and that she misses someone, or something, greatly. She can’t remember how she died either, which is the most frustrating part of all.
    Karis works at an ice rink, where she trains to do figure skating, but also gives lessons on how to skate. She lives alone; she used to date her skating partner, but that did not end well.
    Relations: The only person she remembers: Nazara.

    Appearance (Human): Timothy Serrano’s looks are unremarkable. He is not particularly tall, slim, has brown hair and dark eyes. His clothing fits his style of not caring too much about what others might think, as long as it is comfortable.

    Appearance (Scion): Elethian’s appearance as a Scion is similar to a human. His exact looks tend to change slightly according to his mood (haircut, skin color etc), symbolizing how flexible and alternating life can be. Generally, his looks would be rather bright: light skin and hair, his eyes glowing in a soft shade of grey. He would be just below 2 metres tall, radiating goodwill and a feeling of health. His clothing is normally also bright, but what exactly it is depends on the season and how he feels. At the moment, a white shirt and trousers.

    Personality: Being Scion of Ether, Elethian’s first and foremost goal is to protect human life. He is deeply hurt by all harm that is done to normal people, and cannot understand how someone could do just anything like this deliberately. Therefore, he wants to settle this war once and for all. Theoretically, if there was some kind of agreement, some kind of truce, he would not mind, but according to his experience this is not going to happen. Thus, the easiest way would be to somehow get rid of the Dark Scions permanently.
    Near the end of the last war, Elethian lost his temper during a battle. He won the fight, but when he came back to his senses he found a good part of a town’s population had simply dropped dead, robbed of their life force, not to mention all those accidentally hit by his violent attacks. Ever since then, Elethian loathes his own abilities despite knowing he has to rely on them. It is his one great fear that he might have a dark side lurking deep within him, and that he may lose control once more. He turns quiet and distanced whenever thinking about this.
    Normally, Elethian is gentle, friendly and generally trying to be what you would call a good person. If he sees an opportunity to help others, to do them a favour or just somehow brighten their day, he usually takes it. Sometimes he goes a bit too far, disregarding his own exhaustion. It is partly because of this that others tend to feel relaxed in his presence, partly it is due to his abilities. Even though he passionately hates what the Dark Scions stand for, he has a hard time hating them personally or preserving his anger when they appear to be vulnerable. He is also prone to believe in what other people say, even when they are an enemy, and tends to hesitate a bit too long before delivering the final blow, wondering whether there might be a reason for what they have done, he might do them injustice or they might finally want to change their ways.

    Weapon(s): Trying to avoid using his powers, Elethian has become very skilled using the sword.

    Abilities: Elethian can feel and manipulate the life force of beings other than Scions. Living beings react to his presence as well as his mood. Plants will thrive if he stays near them long enough, animals instinctively seek his presence, and people feel more at ease. Together with this comes a healing ability – in case of too severe illnesses/injuries, however, he would have to draw upon someone else’s energy.
    In a fight, Elethian usually has to resort to life force as well. He does have some energy of his own, but in most cases it wouldn’t suffice to do more than cover his retreat. If Elethian uses energy for something like a shield, something which retains its integrity and is somehow serving the purpose of life, he can usually draw upon these powers without bringing too much harm to his sources: once the fight has ended, he can re-distribute most of the energy (provided none of the people has dropped dead from the exhaustion). However, using his magic to attack, he would not be able to give back what he has taken, no matter the motives. Therefore, Elethian tries to continuously collect tiny bits of energy from everything surrounding him, so little that they don’t notice and will bear no harm, for to some extent life force can be regenerated.
    A living being’s energy is closely linked to their emotions. The better he can understand them, the more easily and quickly Elethian can draw upon their powers, and the more effortlessly and efficiently he can use them.

    Signature Magick:

    History: At first, Elethian actually admired the Dark Scions for their task protecting mankind, for he could not have imagined himself doing so. He did not understand why his brethren disregarded them, nor could he see any reason for humans to be afraid of them. In fact, he tried sometimes to find the reason behind this fear and convince people to overcome their dread, but failed.
    Thus, it was only reluctantly that he fought them at first, and only after some time (and some incidents involving massacres among humans) he came to see that the fight might be necessary. Still, he did not understand their reasons, and hoped that, somehow, they would come back to their senses and be forgiven.
    It was not before the day when he lost control and accidentally wiped out a whole district that he learned how hatred felt. This hatred was first directed at himself, for what he had done, but then also at those who had made him do this. He was able to mostly convince himself that it had been not his fault, but a tiny part of him continued to whisper that, maybe, he himself was not as good a person as he had thought.
    Ever since then, Elethian has not been the cheerful person he used to be, and it is only rarely that he can find back to his old self.

    Relations: Despising the one who drove him to wipe out so many people long ago. Furious at anyone who randomly kills people. Still hoping for someone who can explain to him why people/Scions behave like that. Except that, open.

    I saw this some days ago and figured it would be interesting, so here I am. Admittedly, I didn't really have any idea what exactly an Ether Scion was supposed to be able to, so I just made something up. I hope it is more or less acceptable.
    If there's anything wrong with my character, or anyone wants to sign up as arch-enemy, normal enemy, fighting companion, long-lost lover or whatever, just go ahead and tell me.

    Hmm....seriously debating a sign up for this. It's the first somewhat original idea I've seen for an RPG in a long time. Also with DBSU stalled and my character out of the main action for the time being I'm looking for something fresh.

    I've got a basic idea in mind for a character so I'd like to reserve the Light Scion of Ice for the time being. The coming weekend will be a bit busy for me and it'll give me a little time to think about things. If I do decide to join I'll see about getting my profile up either Monday or Tuesday since I should have one or the other off. If I don't join I'll let you know so that the second Ice Scion isn't tied up for anyone else that may be interested.

    EDIT-Almost forgot to ask this: would certain opposing elements either cancel one another out or just flat out be ineffective? For example would the powers of ice be useless against fire (and fire be weak against water)?
    Also I'm assuming that if two characters worked together that certain powers could be combined (a Water Scion could perhaps make it rain and an Ice Scion could then freeze the falling rain into many piercing needles of ice)

    Well, as the Ice Scion of Darkness, I feel I should pipe up

    When I did my sign up, I went with being able to change the weather anyway. I expect you could combine elements to do certain things (I'm thinking water conducting electricity for example). Also, in my last post, mentioned that the Light Ice Scion is female... Are you okay with that? I'd have to change my post, therefore changing the word count for the NaNoWriMo. But y'know, there's nothing saying there can't be gender bending! Reincarnated as a man, why not?

    EDIT: Since I don't think you've seen this yet, I'll add the other option of her just jesting about her Light counterpart. And we can ignore it completely. Don't wanna seem like I'm going all dictator on your ass XD

    Light or Darkness: The light harnessed from a mighty night light!

    Appearance (Human): Messy dirty blond hair and blue eyes. Balyk has a crooked nose and a curly mustache of permanent marker.

    Appearance (Scion): Kitegen was never the most defined of entities. He wore brightly colored attire of stripes and polkadots that when the wind scion constantly altered to Kitegen's whim so he might expand and look more jovial or become thin and imposing. Kitegen had red curly hair and a strong breeze was never far from his side. He was one whose appearance could change at a whim.

    Personality: Balyk tries to give the impression of being a careless person as flighty as his element. In reality though he tries to act in secret and in the shadows, trying to do everything himself in an effort to make up for the mistakes of the past.

    Weapon(s): A suitcase full of hundred dollar bills. 8D

    Abilities: Can 'twist' the air into small balls of air pressure that allow momentary bursts of 'solid air' that can be uses to blind and deafen opponents, create short term bindings and move objects.
    Also has the ability to flap arms in circles to produce a refreshing cool wind.

    Signature Magick: Can manipulate the air pressure within the area around him to extreme levels of absurdity

    History: Umm...scion of wind of light who reincarnated to keep an eye on the dark scions like his brethren. However he wishes to quelch the hatred the scions of darkness bear so they may move beyond it.

    Relations: Tends to keep to himself generally. Often the other do not even realize he is around.

    Other: The suitcase of money fell into his hands by chance ^^; He does not have an actual weapon since he wishes to avoid an open confrontation.

    Appearance (Human): Lance is a pale-skinned man whose face is becoming lined with age, and has a minor wart on the right side of his face. His blue-green eyes tell the tale of someone who has seen more than he wanted to, but still retains his humor and joy of life. He wears a pair of thick bifocals and has a high forehead. His hair is not thinning yet, but signs of gray are touching his temples. Standing at 5'8", he is slender and composed, and often he will be found bearing a cane in his left hand... but it isn't immediately evident how often he really needs it, or if he even does.

    Appearance (Scion): Though he shares unusual height with his human form, Ketobe stands at 7' and is very broad and thick-limbed. His skin is dark gray, and he has long blond hair with a full beard and mustache; this mass of hair has been known, at times, to occlude his entire face. His eyes glow blue-green. He is wrapped in full leather trappings, looking very much like he belongs in a swamp. His tunic has a hood, though it typically rests on his back instead of his head. The leather behaves as a type of symbiotic, semi-living armor.

    Personality: Whether as a human or as a Scion, he is kind and compassionate, and fiercely loyal to those he cares for. He does not especially approve of how the Dark Scions were treated by the gods or some of his brethren among the Light Scions, but he does not consider this any excuse for how the Dark Scions have behaved through the eons. Should the world - or his friends - come under threat by the Dark Scions again, he would do everything wise and necessary to guard against them.

    Weapon(s): The human Lance is a bow hunter and keeps a modern composite bow with typical manufactured arrows. The Scion Ketobe bears a serpentine-style kris knife whose sharpness can cleave most anything with little effort, but its range is limited due to its short length (less than 9").

    Abilities: Able to conjure poisons by reconfiguring trace elements in anything he touches, and able to either withdraw or dismiss them from a given subject in the same way. Able to determine what ailment has stricken a given subject without fail. Incredible constitution and total immunity to any naturally occurring disease. Because of his own abilities, his lives have typically been longer than those of his fellow Scions, throwing him out of whack with their usual life cycles; consequently, with each new generation, his age range is rarely the same as theirs.

    Signature Magick: Sporedemic - Draws in the toxins and chemical substances in the air around him, then expels them from every pore of his skin in an explosive manner, covering a radius of approximately three city blocks. The intensity and manner of the radial poison is dependent upon the circumstances and his intent. While Scions of both strains are resilient to this attack, particularly if they know it's coming, it can severely cripple them, and is capable of outright killing humans.

    History: Since his conception by the gods, Ketobe has tried to do the right thing for everyone and everything around him. Because of his control over poisons, he had always tended to medical professions - a shaman in one lifetime, a doctor in another - and worked many lifetimes of healing the sickened. But there was nothing he could do to remove the poisons of humanity from the Dark Scions, a guilt and regret he has been forced to live with through the ages. He particularly feels for his counterpart, Zedona, who he believes he has failed on a personal level. But even so, he does not pardon the Dark Scions for their behavior, nor for their warmongering and their will to dominate, and he staunchly opposed them in the first war. During the second war, however, humanity had become more advanced, and he tended to them more than fought. In this modern age, he is an aged veterinarian on the cusp of retirement, and sometimes wonders about the wisdom of allowing humanity to govern... but if he exists, so do the Dark Scions, and letting them govern would be far worse.

    Relations: With the exception of the Dark Scions, there's hardly anybody Lance/Ketobe doesn't like. Ketobe has always felt a certain fatherly connection to Zedona because of their shared element, but has no illusions that this feeling is mutual. Lance is not married, preferring to put his heart and soul into his work, but has dated occasionally throughout the years. He is the sort of person one would open up to in the barber shop or tattoo parlor: easy to speak to, good at relieving tension.

    Other: Ketobe's appearance (but not his height) is based on the Duergar of Dungeons & Dragons, and his dagger is similar to the type the Fremen of the Dune series use.

    Appearance (Human): Wynter stands at 5’10, has an athletic build (her muscles are a bit defined, nothing over the top), and has fairly bronzed skin from her life in Australia and dark brown, long wavy black hair. Her eyes are viridian green, and her pupils are slightly cat-like. She has scars on her, some visible, some not and most are faint (though there are a few that are noticeable – she looks like she’s gotten into fights). Wynter usually wears jeans, sneakers and some sort of simple-tee, not wanting to go over the top with her human appearance much. Her human form is attractive, but also gives off the impression of toughness and a little wild. She wears a lot of beaded bracelets, wristbands and leather strap necklaces that looks a little tribal.
    Appearance (Scion): (attached image)
    Personality: Perhaps the most conceited of the light scions, Angoruuna sees herself as better then everybody, even the gods themselves. Her temper is volatile and her words cold and acidic. She’s not above murdering humans, seeing them as servants or slaves (or cannon fodder), nothing more. Angoruuna is a liar, a cheat and is only honest when she can crush the spirits of those around her. Even in her human form, Angoruuna’s lack of a heart turns the air around her cold. Her style in battle reflects her malice: she aims to destroy her opponents, and anyone who gets in her way without mercy. If she takes a prisoner - god help them. She’ll try and make their suffering last for days before finally ending them. Angoruuna is very distrusting, but doesn’t easily let it show. She often replies in a very sarcastic manner.
    Weapon(s): In human form, Wynter controls numerous icy blades of varying sizes telepathically. Cold enough to shatter a human rather then slice them in half, only scions actually ever feel the bite of her blades. In her scion form, Wynter doesn’t have any weapons (besides claws, teeth, a tail…)
    Abilities: Angoruuna has control of ice and the cold, she can form near anything with her powers, but her favourite trick is to freeze people to death, or just certain limbs to trap them. In her scion form, Angoruuna creates ice simple by being there, and it’ll coat anything and everything within a ten foot radius. In either form, she is ridiculously strong and capable of melee combat, appreciating the up close kill far more then ranged.
    Signature Magick: Simple enough: she’ll make it so cold people will instantly freeze (and die, if they’re anything but scions), the coat of ice covering them will contain to thicken until Angoruuna thinks it enough, and then she’ll telepathically shatter them, sending pieces everywhere to slam/stab/harm anyone who’s around and not frozen.
    History: Angoruuna is pretty out of place light scion; she’s much more suited to be a dark one but isn’t. Never a really nice individual in the beginning, the wars (both to do with the scions and not) have turned her into an unforgiving person. Directly opposed to her comrades, Angoruuna rather not bother defending humanity as she sees them as pathetic. The only reason she stays aligned with the light scions is because she finds their shadows a disgusting creation by chance (save for her own, which she obviously thinks is the best and most capable). Through the scion wars Angoruuna has proved she is a devastating opponent, and had key roles in both of the dark scions defeats.
    Despite her viciousness, Angoruuna has a soft spot for Eirwyn due to seeing her as a sort of little sister. Still, Angoruuna has never given Eirwyn an easy time, having fought her a lot in the past. The older scion just refuses to kill her sister, claiming tormenting her shadow is far more entertaining than banishing it.
    After the second war, Angoruuna didn’t stay in contact with the other light scions, and has told Chronos that if she ever sees him again, she will tear him a part piece by piece and feed him to rabid dogs.

    Other: ROAR. She also has an Australian accent. In her scion form, she can’t actually speak very well, the emotions and power that fuels the form makes it difficult for her, so her sentences become very short. However, she can speak telepathically to Eirwyn.

    Appearance (Human): Ash herself looks much like her sister Claire, just not nearly as intimidating or formidable. She’s cute and pretty, and has a slim figure and has no real muscle to speak of. She’s one of those adorable girls who get through life by asking someone else to do the heavy lifting, unable to do it themselves. Her hair is actually longer then Claire’s, but is the same sort of charcoal black and her eyes are softer blue. She tries to keep up with the current trends of her age, so much of her clothes reveal a little skin (not too much or Claire would kill her). Most often she’s wearing shorts with some sort of slightly baggy, shoulderless tops with some designs on them. Recently she get a strange, nearly alien tattoo on her arm, that somewhat resembles a bow.
    Appearance (Scion): Vayu isn’t actually a part of Ash; Vayu is the tattoo that used to be strange birthmark on the girl when she was younger. When Vayu takes its form, it’s a bow. One that looks straight out of fantasy, it’s a combination of technology and magic, with numerous strings and jewel on the bow itself. Vayu in tattoo form, doesn’t register an aura, nor give Ashley any sort of benefit. When Vayu unlocks and manifests, it gives Ash the knowledge and power to contend with the true scions. Vayu can split into dual blades, bound to Ash by the strings, and bestows into the human how to wield the two halves like a master, and also transform into a ring for close encounters. When in any weapon form, Vayu’s aura is faint; the scions who are not specifically looking for other scions do not register Vayu’s presence.
    Personality: Ash is kind hearted, sweet and gentle. She doesn’t like violence because she’s not particularly good at fighting on her own. She’s very, very smart. However, despite being somewhat popular and cute, Ash is easily intimidated, or embarrassed. Being extremely polite, Ash doesn’t handle cursing, rudeness or fighting well. She can get flustered and angry, and will speak up for herself, but she’s more accustomed to running away then standing her ground. Ash through most of her life had Claire to look after her, so she’s new to being on her own. She has courage though – she’ll try to help, even if she doesn’t know what to do. With the ability to summon Vayu, Ash isn’t as afraid of the scions as she should be, and this could get her in trouble.
    Weapon(s): Vayu is the weapon, and is able to assume three forms.
    - The bow: the strongest of the forms, its Vayu signature form and has an incredibly long range.
    - The twin blades: the fastest of the three forms; they’re mid-range and incredibly fast, able to disorientate foes.
    - The ring: the most subtle form, Vayu can make Ash super-human and not alert enemies to the scion’s presence.
    Abilities: Vayu’s only abilities are bestowing Ash with scion senses and strengths while in weapon form. Vayu changes constantly - like the wind. Ash can use some ‘magic’ with the end, but not much. Ash’s magical abilities are linked to the wind of the day: if it’s really gusty, Ash’s attack do much more damage, if it’s a normal day, she can barely use her spells at all.
    Signature Magick: None.
    History: Vayu was once one of the most powerful light scions, however, when she was defeated by Nazara during the second war, Nazara utterly decimated her spirit. Vayu over the eons hasn’t been able to manifest correctly: now she is merely a magic bow, unable to even communicate with her reincarnated form. Vayu is sure this is probably her last manifestation, if she dies this time, or doesn’t find a way to restore herself, she’ll be gone forever.
    Relations: Ash is Claire/Nazara’s sister.
