Water Pulse, Focus Blast and finish with Ice Beam. If he tries Bulldoze, Earthquake or Magnitude – Magnet Rise then follow that up with as many Focus Blasts as you’d like. Mimic and use Safeguard if he uses it then again, continue as ordered… Safeguard takes precedent over the other moves.

G'day, Pogeymon trainers, and welcome to one of the two semi-final matches of the STAB-less Tournament! As Rossy and MLG cross swords elsewhere in another arena, here on the Poison field a fun and ferocious battle between DL's Lickilicky and Crystal Tears's Aggron will take place. With both battlers having pulled off come-from-behind victories in their previous matches, who will prove mightier and continue to the finals? Let's find out!

The heavyweight titans get off to a frenetic start as Raspberry slams her tongue against the ground. Shockwaves surge out from their point of origin and close in on Behemoth who has no interest in falling victim to seismic activity. The Aggron's iron armour begins to hum with a mysterious energy as he repels himself off the ground. Unharmed, Behemoth watches as the ground below quakes.

Rapsberry: <-4 EP>
Behemoth: <-4 EP; MRi>

Raspberry closes his eyes and begins anticipating his opponent's next move. Ooh, he thinks he has it! Opening his mouth, the Lickilicky coughs out a blast of chi energy that illuminates the entire arena with blue light. Behemoth is thrown against the far wall and crumples, wounded from that devastating hit. When at last he pulls himself up, he retaliates with a Focus Blast that just doesn't have the same sizzle. That said, the Focus Blast nonetheless leaves a noticeable effect on Raspberry: his defensive prowess dips.

Raspberry: <-18 HP; -10 EP; -1 SpD>
Behemoth: <-36 HP; -10 EP>

Action two, redux. Raspberry and Behemoth trade off Focus Blasts, though the latter Pokemon suffers far more damage. Is this match already all but decided?

The second round of our little skirmish continues as Raspberry opens wide and lets out one hell of a noise that vaguely resembles a blender filled with Zubats. Behemoth tries to let out a Taunt, but the unpleasant din overwhelms him rapidly. Before he knows it, he's unable to tell up from down and copes by punching himself in the face over and over and over.

Rapsberry: <-4 EP>
Behemoth: <Cfn; -3 HP>

Behemoth is in a right state thanks to the Supersonic. Raspberry responds by huffing, puffing, and blowing out a steady deluge of brownish water. (Brownish as in mud, not as in... anyway.) Behemoth tries to throw off the aim with an Earthquake, but he's overcome by the sheer strength of the attack before he can move. Either way, the Aggron responds with an Earthquake... but as the shockwaves close in upon Raspberry, they don't seem to have quite the same effect.

Behemoth: <-15 HP; -8 EP>

Behemoth gives his head a shake and overcomes the unpleasant effects of Confusion just like that. Raspberry once again tries to cough out another deluge of water; however, Behemoth times his Earthquake with better precision, throwing off Raspberry's accuracy which causes the very majority of water to go wide. As a result, Behemoth is only hit by a trace amount. The big ol' Lickilicky is sent tumbling to the ground and flops around uselessly in his vain attempt to get back on his feet. The plump little exercise ball can't seem to manage it. D'aww. Behemoth giggles.

Welp... I'm boned.

Behemoth use thunder wave, sand storm then double team if they can survive the storm, if not then dragon pulse. If it uses safeguard then blast it with focus blast.

Make a Med sized Substitute. Then, as it uses Sandstorm, you use Focus Punch.

End with another Focus Punch. If clones survive, swap out FP1 for Shock Wave.

We enter the third round as Behemoth, preempting an attack, pieces together a Substitute from odds and ends that are available to him. Substitute made! Behemoth releases a sizzling pulse of electricity that rushes over the Substitute but fails to do a thing. The Substitute smells like batteries, though, so that's something.

Raspberry: <-4 EP; -15 HP; Sub: 15 HP>
Behemoth: <-4 EP>

Raspberry closes his eyes and starts humming as he enters a meditative state. He manages to maintain his focus even as Behemoth roars and summons swells of sand and grit to spill into the arena. As the storm whips around us, Raspberry comes to life: the Lickilicky bounds upon Behemoth and socks it to him with one hell of a Focus Punch. That hurt just watching it.

Raspberry: <-13 EP; Sub: 15 HP>
Behemoth: <-30 HP; -4 EP>

Raspberry once again begins focusing his energy for a future attack. Behemoth, meanwhile, spits out a glowing blast of indigo energy that knocks the Substitute over but fails to break it. Though Raspberry senses through his psychic link that his Substitute has sustained damage, he doesn't lose concentration and is thus able to deliver a second Focus Punch. Egads.

It does the trick. The armoured titan slumps over, defeated. Good match.
