Grrreat our third match is going to rock hard! (Although I see no Rock type Pokemon lol)

So for everyone who didn't read the backstory, my Pokemon's full name Jake Rightontop. He has the Ability Technician and I originally got him from no one other than MeLoVeGhOsTs himself

And as for his moves, let's start off with Pursuit. I hope you didn't underestimate me!
    Quick Attack before Ise DynamicPunches.
Bear with the Confusion and just use Triple Kick to end this turn.

    ‡ Round 1 ‡

Good day, ladies and gents, to a first round battle for the P1 Grand Stand Tournament! Pokemon trainers and their indomitable Fighting-type partners have traversed from all over the League to spar their way to the top. Which of today’s competitors will have the opportunity to kick/punch/slap/scratch/etc. their way to victory? Ahh, the tensions is un-REAL, folks!

Our resident Belgian and Finn step into the ring alongside their warriors. Today’s battle will see a yoga practitioners in puffy blue trousers square off against a spinning top in sleek blue singlet. The two bizarrely dressed Pokemon stare daggers at one another… and the bell sounds, beginning the battle!

Ise Nanao is the first two strike, ducking left and then swooping right unpredictably. Jake tries to keep a visual on his target, but the wily Medicham is far too agile. Before Jake knows it, Ise pounces upon him and lands a surprise hit. The Hitmontop stumbles backward into the ropes, surprised by the suddenness of the attack. Because of Ise's Pure Power, both the damage output and energy cost are increased by a hair.

    Ise Nanao: <-4 EP>
    Jake Rightontop: <-6 HP>

Jake decides to give his opponent a lesson in speed. Before Ise can even try to keep up the heat, Jake sprints toward her and rakes his pointed tail across her thigh. Because he’s a natural Technician, Jake manages to find a way to make that minor hit count. Nursing her wound, Ise sprints toward Jake and clobbers him in the face with a sudden punching attack. Suddenly, Jake’s world goes topsy-turvy…

    Ise Nanao: <-6 HP; -10 EP>
    Jake Rightontop: <-14 HP; -2 EP; Cfn>

Ise’s fingers begin to bleed a syrupy purple liquid as she thrusts them forward for a sudden poisonous strike. Jake takes the hit and manages to avoid being poisoned; however, what he doesn’t avoid is his own fist as it comes beelining right toward his face.

    Ise Nanao: <-8 EP>
    Jake Rightontop: <-10 HP; -3 HP Cfn>

    ‡ Post-Round ‡

Jake, you'll have to focus with Focus Energy!
    Next move requires your Strength!
Finally, I know that patience is a virtue, but let's strike now with the Super Effective Aerial Ace!

Focus eh? Let's give it something to focus about! While it's focusing, hit it hard with Focus Punch! Follow that up with a Zen Headbut and finish by taking the Aerial Ace and then revenge it with an unresisted Hi Jump Kick!

    ‡ Round 2 ‡

Attempting to set his head straight, Jake closes his eyes and hones his focus. Curiously, at the same time, Ise attempts a similar strategy as she tries to focus all her mental energy into her balled up fist. As Jake’s Confusion begins to dissipate, he bounces up happily. However, that smile is promptly wiped off his face as Ise Nanao springs to life. The Medicham clobbers him with fiercest Fighting-type move in her arsenal, knocking the little top clear out of the ring.

    Ise Nanao: <-15 EP>
Jake Rightontop: <-19 HP; -4 EP; Cfn no more>

With her opponent already below the halfway point, Ise waits for him to crawl back into the ring before making him regret it. She smashes her skull into his face, dealing super effective damage in the process. Grimacing, Jake employs an impressive degree of Strength as he hoists Ise up overhead before slamming her back down to the ground.

    Ise Nanao: <-8 HP; -8 EP>
    Jake Rightontop: <-14 HP; -6 EP>

Ise waits as Jake goes for a super effective strike of his own. The little fighter bounces into the air, spins for show and then descends, clonking the Medicham on the head. Because of his Technical prowess, the blow lands hard. A little dazed, she bounces into the air and tries to counter with a powerful kick, but her orientation this time leaves a little to be desired. She crashes down to the ground, sustaining a fair bit of damage in the process. Jake can't quite stifle his laughter.

    Ise Nanao: <-14 HP; -5 HP crash; -11 EP>
    Jake Rightontop: <-4 EP>

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 3 ‡

Ise sprints toward Jake to lay an energy-suckin’ smackdown on the little top. Panicked by his oncoming opponent, Jake spins like the badass Hitmontop he is and bores a gaping hole into the middle of the ring. He leaps in at the last second, causing Ise’s punch to catch nothin’ but air.

Ise peers down through the ole into the hollow space beneath the platform. Jake waves.

    Ise Nanao: <-6 EP>
    Jake Rightontop: <-3 EP>

Suddenly, Jake leaps out of the hole and smacks his tail against Ise’s face. Blinking from surprise, Ise retaliates with a sudden slice laced with psionic energy. Jake squeals and flops against the ropes. Well, at least his opponent is out of super effective attacks…

    Ise Nanao: <-8 HP; -5 EP>
    Jake Rightontop: <-15 HP; -3 EP>

As though slamming bricks, Ise smashes her open palm against her opponent’s face. With only a little bit of health left, Jake leaps upon his opponent and tries… a Fighting-type move? Against a Psychic-type? Whatever floats your boat! The moves doesn’t do a whole lot of damage given its energy cost and leaves Jake feeling a little fatigued and vulnerable.

    Ise Nanao: <-7 HP; -6 EP>
    Jake Rightontop: <-12 HP; -10 EP; -1 Def; -1 SpD>

    ‡ Post-Round ‡

    Stand up to the end!

    Bring Ise down with Endeavor.
    If you're still up, Earthquake!
    Finish with Strength.

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 4 ‡

With a significant health disparity between the two battlers making the outcome of this match all but certain, Jake tries to use an attack that takes advantage of his own ailing state. However, before he can succeed in this Endeavor, Ise shoots forward and combines a steely punch with an open-palmed smack down.

And just like that, the battle is over. Ise Nanao raises her arms in victory as the crowd goes wild.

    Ise Nanao: <-12 EP>
    Jake Rightontop: <-7 HP>

    ‡ Post-Round ‡

And with that, MLG snags a well-deserved victory and gets to move onto the next round. He also gets to add two points to his bank account while Mikachu gets one. I nab four.

    Tootles!

Well I kinda underestimated the fact you didn't underestimate me... With different moves who knows how this would had ended. I can assure I and Jake enjoyed the battle, too, nevertheless. Also, thanks for your praise, MLG, actually, I think there's more than one winner here. Until next time!
