Grey and Cueball meet in the center of this simplistic field.
It's sudden death, and death is the key here, since both trainers summon some spooky ghosts!
The combat gets under way!
Turn 1
Roger releases a surge of negative energy from his body!
It completely engulfs Ethereal, who balks her own attack!
Seems the attack was almost too much to handle!

Turn 2
Roger takes a moment to identify the Litwick.
Hmm? Ah! So that's the essence of Ethereal.
Roger grabs at something, and Ethereal becomes more visible.
Ethereal fires a large ball of spooky energy at Roger! He's baffled by the hit!

Turn 3
The Jolly Roger locks eyes (or... Eye to eyes?) with Ethereal.
Hmm? Oh my! The flame on the Litwicks head increases dramatically!
It starts burning Ethereal up quite badly! That must have been some sort of Psychic attack!
Ethereal, meanwhile, rushes up and gives the Duskull all the pain she's felt!

Well, whatever he was thinking about is interrupted by being blasted in the face by a
ball of ominous energy.

Bloody little blight insulted him too much, and would surely enjoy the rain! He'll deny her
such pleasure.
Meanwhile, Ethereal shoots off another ominous mystery ball.
It collides with Jolly Roger so hard he explodes!
Wait. Oh. That's right. There's two there. Or, were, at the very least.

Roger charges his energy and...
BLAMO! He hits Ethereal square in the face!
Except not. It appears more shenanigans with double team have taken place.
However, he is energetic now!
Meanwhile, Ethereal ignores all the super happy and confusing faces surrounding her
once again, and simply decks him in the face,

Well... Last round was quite... Effective.
But the battle still rages!
Turn 1
Roger focuses on one of the Ethereal, and...
Oh! She falters without exploding! Guess he got the real one!
Ethereal starts to charge something nasty, and...
Wha-!? The ground is cracking!
All the sudden something rises up...!
"FOOLISH MORTALS. YOU HAVE AWOKEN PLEEBO'S HUNDRED YEAR REST.
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ORDEAL?"
Jolly Roger points at Ethereal.
"THEN FACE SWIFT JUDGEMENT!"
Oh dear. The Rhyperior begins to beat Ethereal. After a while, he evidentially gets bored,
and sinks back into the ground, sealing up the crack he left.
Roger begins to snicker. Apparently he saw this coming...
Ethereal finishes charging her super attack! She begins to wonder what to do.
She turns back to Grey!
...Punch myself? In the face?
Oh dear! For some reason she hit herself!

Turn 2
Roger barrages with more Psychic attacks!
However, only one actually lands, since the other caused Ethereal's clone to explode.
During this time, Roger calms down, and Ethereal comes back to her senses!

She falls to the ground!
However, that wasn't quite enough! She's only on the brink!
She responds by turning around, and shooting another creepy ball of energy!
This one's much more powerful, however! It screams and wails with the voices of
a thousand spirits!
It completely envelops Jolly Roger, and explodes with a massive force!
When the dust clears, Roger is on the ground, the glow gone from his eyes.
