There aren't any hard and fast rules for interpreting base species Speed. Some refs use the in-game base Speed stats, others don't.

Okay, Dame Thistlebottom: Aerial Ace, Earthquake, Aerial Ace. Snatch whatever is Snatchable.

    fair enough, I guess.

Sake, use force palm. Try to aim for vital pressure points to paralyze him. next, use rock tomb, then stone edge.

I know, but I thought making an expression was easier/faster than summoning a bunch of rocks, but if Oslo also disagrees, I can change it...

Dame spreads her wings and gives out a war cry. She launches forward, slightly lifting her heavy body and speeds across the stadium. Sake just watches as she gets closer and closer, he has nothing to do really, his feet are locked to the ground. Dame`s rough body buries into the Mienfoo.

Now Dame buries her claws into the thick soil and causes multiple sound waves to travel through the hall. At first nothing happens, but then the ground starts shaking violently, throwing Sake off-course. He however manages to quickly put himself together. He notices the small openings and rocks laying around the field. An idea emerges in his head and he decides to lift those, and his own, with his mind and shoots them in Dame`s way. The dragon covers her head. The rocks put him into a small trap and lower his speed a bit.

Dame crashes into Sake and dust is blown in the crowds way, revealing the hurt druddigon and mienfoo.

first thing, use reflect. If they try to snatch, use taunt.
next turn, if you used taunt before instead of reflect, use reflect. If you used reflect, use taunt.
    finally, use Stone edge.

if you're taunted at all, change all moves following the taunt to switching between stone edge and rock tomb (stone edge first)

Sledgehammer tactics: Focus Blast, Flamethrower and then use another Focus Blast as he comes in close for a Stone Edge to knock him off course.

Sake sets up a magical sphere of energy around her body and then searches for her foe. That`s when a ball-like zap strikes him from behind. Ouch!
Sake -13 HP, -5 PP, *reflect* 5 turns
    Dame -9 PP

The mienfoo takes the advantage of being the faster one, but the paralysis once again takes its toll. Dame spews out hot flames of fire. They cover up Sake, who responds with yelling out harsh words. Looks like he managed for a taunt after all.
Sake -9 HP, -5 PP *reflect* 4 turns
    Dame -7 PP

More rocks rise by Sake`s side and he takes a turn and pounces the dragon on the head. Dame whimpers, she was going to try and stop him with a Focus Blast, but she was too slow. Still, she launches a zapping blast, even thought a little later then she wanted to.

Sake starts frantically digging a hole in the ground, but Dame doesn`t give him a chance to escape. She generates her trusty zapping projectile and sends it at Sake. However before it manages to reach him, he disappears beneath the earth. Whew, just in time.
Sake -13 HP, -3 PP *reflect* 2 turns
    Dame -9 PP

Sake tries to dance, but the small space doesn`t allow him to, well atleast not properly, he still gets a small stat boost. Meanwhile, Dame sniffs the ground and searches for her prey, where has he gone?

The Druddigon gets bored and she sits down to rest. Without a warning, Sake breaks the ground open and tackles the dragon`s body, good thing the reflect protects her a little from Dame`s rough skin. She gives out an angry grunt and takes a few steps backwards. She proceeds to shift her energy in her palms, calling out another jolted orb. Dame sends it flying, damaging Sake pretty badly.

Hey there, I`ve recently changed my reffing style a bit (moves do different damage, more/less PP used...), would it be okay if I started using it from this round on? I don`t mind with finishing this battle with the style I`ve been using till now.

Love`s tusk grows larger and he charges at Sandy and tries to stake her. Sandy brings up her arms and hides behind them, but the damage is great. Sandy blows smoke on her already pretty sharp claws and drags them across the ground.

Sandy searches the field, did Love just disappear? The absol preys on her from behind and plans a suprise attack. The dragon turns around and Love launches at her with his claws up front. He takes away some of her damage, but she grabs on to his horn and throws him through the stadium.
    Sandpaper -8 HP, -7 PP
    Love -16 HP, -3 PP, -1 HP

Love sends a flashy jet of ice at Sandy. She however spews a great flame, which licks away the cold ice and manages to create a small explosion. A light illuminates the hall, slowly disappearing over a short period of time.

A tiny spark is sent at Sandy. She pulls up a small barrier, causing the spark to burst when touching it.
Well, that was a waste of time.
    Sandpaper -10 PP
    Love -5 PP

Love glanced above and let out a placid howl. At first Sandy stares wondering what was that about, but she soon understood when a chilly wind started coming her way. She tries to keep herself warm by spewing a hot fiery breath. The wind strengthens, gets colder, blowing the dragon of its feet. Her flame grows weaker, still damaging Love a bit. She closes her mouth in the end, her teeth shivering greatly.

Love generates a purple orb at his muzzle. Dark circles begin lashing out of the ball of energy, slashing Sandy on the way. Not sure about this, The ASB movelist says it isn`t, bulbapedia says it is...
Maybe someone with more experience could help with this?

didn't know that, does it snatch the status and hp or just the hp? also does it say in the novelist that it isn't or does it just not have it

The movelist doesn`t say anything about it being snatchable.

This topic has definitely come up in the past. In fact, I'm 85% sure Darkly said Rest wasn't made Snatchable because it has positive and negative effects on the user (ie. health gain at the cost of Sleep) as opposed to just about every other Snatchable move which only has positive effects.

I`ll ref it as not snatchable then, BTPoke, you can change your moves if you want to, since you are attacking second anyway.

Wait, how did blizzard do more than Revenge? They were both super effective, and they both do around the same amount of damage, but Sandy has an increased attack power.

    Alright, then. let's see...

If they decide to attack the first turn, do this combo:Revenge + Superpower ~ Rest (rest is for if Absol somehow manages to survive).

If they decide to protect or detect or even substitute the first turn: Focus Blast~ Focus Blast ~ Superpower
