The title says it all
Song Forest
a song can be heard throughout the forest that can sooth pokemon and sometimes put them to sleep.
Every turn there is a chance to be put to sleep by the song.
First out will be:
Curious George
[Female][Blaze][Chimchar]
I have a slot. I will take you on.
How many pokemon do you wish to battle with? And any other rules you wish to make?
I'll play fair tho, and not use my power houses against your babies...
Come on out, Joy, the shiny Happiny with Serene Grace.

Curious George First use Flamethrower then Acrobatics and finally Flame Wheel
Two trainers and their pokemon stand in the Song Forest, an ancient wood through which a haunting melody plays, the song of the old ones that threatens to whisk you away into a dreamland. As the challenger, Emerald Gen releases his first pokemon, a shiny Chimchar with the gender confusing name of Curious George. Ayeun releases her own tiny pokemon, a Happiny called Joy. The two trainers take a step back and issue commands, and the battle starts.
George is quick off the mark, his flame shrinking as she channels fuel into a large burst of fire. The red and orange embers surge across the forest floor, but they are suddenly split open by a pulse of water. Joy dances gleefully as the water washes aside the fire and splashes over her simian foe. Thanks to her serene grace, Joy has been lucky on the first turn, as the added sonic pulse in the attack has left George's mind addled and confused.

George shakes off the water and advances on her opponent. Joy moves forward at the same time, but whilst she runs at George in a straight line, the agile little monkey hops from tree to rot, up to the canopy, misses the branch, falls to the ground, bounces off the floor and lands on Joy. Joy eats dirt and grumbles, pulling herself out form under her foe, then delivering a strong headbutt to her delusional enemy.

Both in close quarters now, George makes a high pitched noise and rolls into a ball. A burst of flame surrounds her and she starts to spin. Joy yelps and jumps backwards. She reaches out with her mind and finds an aura of her spinning enemy getting closer and closer and WHAM! Joy takes a tumble as she is struck by her foe. She grumbles and reaches back out, stopping George mid spin, plucking her off the ground and slamming her against a tree.

this battle has died and im bringing it back for RaZoR
George crosses her arms, and starts to scheme. The kind of horrible scheme that can cause major damage to her foe. Yeah.. yeah that would be good. Oh and.. oh and dropping it on her.. oh that would be aah what the f**k! Joy has approached George whilst she was distracted and the two have met foreheads in the form of a whacking head-butt. Thanks to the serene grace surrounding her, the head-butt causes George to flinch out of the plotting leaving her with only half an idea formed in her head. The jolt of pain seemed to be enough of a shock to knock the confusion out of her.

George grimaces and starts to plot again. This time there are plans involving falling branches, exploding mushrooms, and plants with sharp teeth connected together with strings, pulleys and levels that.. well you get the picture. Whilst this plotting doesn't go completely uninterrupted, she manages to get enough of an idea in her head before a blast of water and sonics knock her over. Joy smiles at her handy-work.

Powered up and ready to do some damage, George lets her increased sense of attack guide her direction. Flames billow out of her mouth, shooting across the forest and engulfing Joy. The Happiny struggles to move through the fire, but the pushes herself beyond the attack and knocks another head-butt into the fiery monkey.

The haunting song floats through the forest, but neither pokemon seem to be affected by it. Joy summons a strong burst of water once more, that cascades over Curious George soaking the pokemon from head to to.. wait a second. The plucky Chimchar has managed to create a shield protecting her from the attack entirely. The water flows over the barrier and soaks harmlessly into the soft ground of the forest. Joy looks peeved, but Geroge just smilies and dances on her feet.

Joy grumbles, but continues with her attack. A swirl of shadows and darkness appears around her, and with a few quick waves of her tiny arms, the wisps form into one ball like mass, before flying out and colliding with George. George shivers as the ghostly effect surrounds her, but a bit of fire should warm her straight back up. With a deep breath, a long jet of flame toasts Joy leaving the pink pokemon with a blackened face and smoke rising up off her little quiff.

That was a lot of flame form one little monkey, but all the nasty plotting earlier paid off. Joy ponders for a moment that standard attacks aren't helping, perhaps something random and out of the blue would be better. She sways back and forth in perfect rhythm, her arms and body moving in time together. A faint glow surrounds her, then the spectral image of a Rattata jumps out from the glow. The phantom pokemon leaps at a bewildered George and digs it's fangs into the pokemon's head, then vanishes in a puff of smoke. George looks aghast, but shakes it off and blows another jet of flame over Joy. The flames don't last very long though, as the melody flowing through the woodland creeps up, and George suddenly finds herself lulled into a peaceful sleep.
