It's the start of a new tournament here! I-for one-am excited about this, Especially since its the start of a new season and most likely a new era of ASB legends to be made!

In this preliminary round, we have Rossy and Ash duking it out with their respective denizens of the draconian world. Hakuryu and Ringo circle each other-and I still wonder how Hakuryu can fly with those wings, but Dodrio can't.

It's of no real consequence though, as Ringo immediately calls Haku a Gyarados Ripoff. That's just about all you need to say in order to piss off any real dragon. Haku rages, upset so much over that little comment.

Ha: Tnt ~~~ Ri: -2E

Taking advantage of the situation, Ringo makes sure that Haku starts to feel as bad as it looks. A splash of poison here, and a second dash of reckless hope, and Hakuryu not only can't attack, but she's poisoned as well.

Ha: >O! Txc ~~~ Ri: -2E

By the time Haku clears her head enough to even formulate an attack, she's so blind with rage that she doesn't even notice Ringo's play at play. The blinding rage she unleashed shattered that small Substitute, but Ringo didn't mind one bit.

Ha: -5E ~~~ Ri: -6E/-5H Sub: Poof

That toxic began its work (-3)

The sea serpent versus the hydra battle continues, and Ringo seems to have the advantage still. It sparks up and that left head shivers out a nasty bolt of electricity. The wave strikes Haku, who stares him down and manages to fire off the MOTHER of all rattails! That left a crazy deep mark on Ringo's left handface. (-2)

Ha: *Par* -6E ~~~ Ri: -2E/-12H

Haku coughs, feeling its body suddenly tense up in areas where it shouldn't be (note: everywhere!). Ringo recognized the holding effect of said paralysis and kept up the pressure. A blinding blast hit Haku square in the face, and knocked the serpent back on its haunches.

As Haku stared at the sky, its body tensed and finally, its body seemed to shift. In one swift flash, Haku left its old skin behind and raced to exact revenge on that stupid three headed punk!

Ha: -11H ~~~ Ri: -8E

Ringo wasn't sure what to make of all that, and it definitely wasn't sure what to think of that new sleek sexy looking dragon slithering too and fro. In no time at all, Ringo was stuck and struck under that hypnotic spell of lurrve.

Oh, Ringo was gonna get ringed, for sure now...

Haku begins to wriggle around, as if there was a pipe player nearby enchanting her with movement. Intrigue and enchantment enticed Ringo. Ringo swoops in and keeps up with her movements all the while dreamy eyed and smitten.

Ha: -3E +Atk/Spd ~~~ Ri: -3E +Atk/Spd (47)

With both Pokemon racing around at a similar speed, Haku tried to gain an advantage. She sped up and slammed her body weight into Ringo's gut. This caused the beastie to fall on the ground, stunned the blow. Instead of declaring his love for her, he sat there, silent. Words never worked. Actions did.

Ha: -9E ~~~ Ri: -13H (40)

A second heaping of Dragonair booty was slammed into Ringo, but this time he would not stay smitten. Instead, he rushed the serpent and repinned her back on the ground. Haku wriggled as if her life depended on it...because it kinda did....!

This just got real...

See that number next to where it says Atr. I start a countdown from 50 (Meaning 50% chance of not attacking). Attacks to the attracted lower this number, as well as it normally counting down over time. When it hits 0, yer no longer attracted.

Haku raised up a bit, concerned about the actions of Ringo. The three headed dragon flew around in circles, still obliviously in love. At least, one head was. The main head was leering at Haku with a deliciously sly grin. Diving down, the dark-gon slammed into Haku just as the serpent stretched around. The pair of dragons rolled around, but Haku used the hit to help force up some yummy yum yums...at one time...all over Ringo's faces. (-1)

Ringo seemed to be figuring out that love hurts, and when it hurts, you get resentful. Flapping to regain its altitude, Ringo rallied a incumbent of dark pious feeling and unleashed it radially. The strike sliced right atop of Haku's body, but bent as a screen warped and dissipated a good chunk of that blast. (-1)

Ha: -4E/-5H LS: 6 act ~~~ Ri: -7E (20)

Ringo coughed, feeling the sickness already attacking his innards. As he wavered for that moment, Haku took advantage. A massive coiled ball of anger slammed Ringo to the ground. Haku unfurled and whipped around left and right, leaving welt marks over Ringo. Ringo seemed almost overcome by all the attention, but one of the heads snapped in retaliation to being struck on its nose. The blind crunch snagged Haku's tail, giving him a nice shock. (-1)

Ha: -9E/-11H ~~~ Ri: -8E/-12H (8)

Ringo hissed. The love was all but gone, but one head was still holding onto hope.

Haku has had just about enough of this dragon surviving everything she's thrown at it. With a flick of her tail (which is a deep flick) Haku flings that serpentine body right into Ringo. Ringo unduly was battered, whipped slammed and headbutted numerous times, but managed to stay aloft during it all, As Haku's final strike left the serpent vaulting skyward, Ringo's left head shot forward and rose up, uppercutting the snake to give it some extra height.(-2)

Ha: -9E/-12H ~~~ Ri: -5E/-13H

Ringo's armhead look up to see the while underbelly flip over itself and now spied the blue serpentine tail whizzing down right for...ouch. Its face. That arm was slammed down and the rest of Ringo went with it. That arm crashed into the ground first, and Ringo used all he had to make sure his other two heads didn't meat the same fate. Looking back up at Haku, Ringo lunged the right armhead up-and it created a nasty howl.

Haku looked to teh heaves, but by then it was too late. The Meteor had already zipped around the moon and back and slammed into the floating serpent. Animal and mineral collided atop the arena once more in a massive explosion. Haku lied in the belly of the crater, smoldering. That shilding was the only good thing right now going for Haku(-2)

Ha: -7E/-14H ~~~ Ri: -13E/-11H -2SpA

Ringo floated over as Haku barely seemed able to move among the debris. True, the serpent was dizzy from the hit. But seeing the limp head of Ringo reminded her that she needed to win this battle. The dragon seemed to be goading her on as well, so why the hell not. She forced herself up along with some rocks, and bashed into Ringo, only to be kicked back into the dirt. Ouch.

Ha: -9E/-12H ~~~ Ri: -5E/-13H

Whooo. Heavy hitters! But Haku does not get back up! Holy crap. But, its not all sitting ducks either for Ringo. He succumbs to the poison as well (-2)

We're giving it to Ringo though. Way to make this a close one!

Had I known I would have done more damage I would have gone for SE moves, but then again, everyone else's reffing formula confuses the heck out of me, so oh well.
