The next stage of the Dragon Tamers' Tournament gets underway as Perfect Chaos and RL, successful during their previous bouts, prepare to cross swords. They summon their trusty dragons to the field, with the former trainer calling calling upon a tall, bushy-tailed lizard and the latter summoning a malevolent creature with sock puppet hands. Let's begin! Yum Kaax decides to prove that, even though his name might be clunky, he certainly isn't! He busts out the jazz-hands and does the running man, which together heighten his battle prowess. Meanwhile, Rorschach points out that "Yum Kaax" sounds a little like "yum cocks" and begins to cackle like a big jerk. C'mon, man! If you're gonna sling mud, sling real mud, not verbal, feelings-hurting mud. A vein rises in Yum's forehead. Eep.

As it turns out, Yum is too enraged to simply spit a bunch of silly-ass seeds all over the joint. Instead, he tromps right up to Rorschach and knees the Dragon in the gut. (Where are your precious Watchmen now, bitch?!) Rorschach doubles over but otherwise isn't too fazed by the minor strike. He begins to develop a bad case of acid reflux, though, and ends up vomiting all over Yum. The Sceptile shoot his opponent a truly horrified look. Motion to, uh, ban vomiting? All in favour say aye?

Eager to really lay into his opponent with an attack, Yum Kaax swings around that formidable evergreen glued to his ass and brings it slamming down upon his opponent. At the last second, the Sceptile's tail becomes encased in iron and the sheer strength of the attack bludgeons Rorschach to the ground. The round comes to a close as Rorschach rises into the air and then swoops toward his opponent like a purple comet. The Dragon Rush hits Yum Kaax square in the face (anything but the moneymaker!) and dazes the lizard greatly. Grah. Dragons don't play nice.

Things are tight as we sashay into the second round. Yum Cocks Kaax puts on a show of agility and breaks into a dead sprint, which Rorschach tries to counter with a blue wave of electric current. Spoink-style, Yum uses his tail to vault himself into the air and over the Thunder Wave. Whee! He then comes down hard upon Rorschach's head, much to the Hydreigon's annoyance. Apparently he does not care for falling Sceptiles. I... suppose that is fair.

Even though he doesn't have particularly large or menacing claws, Yum nonetheless grabs Rorschach around the neck and begins to strangle the bajeebuz out of him. Ugh. With his precious bajeebuz dwindling away, Rorschach manages to loosen the lizard's grip with a well-aimed Dark Pulse. The blast sends Yum tumbling backwards, but not before Rorschach's fortitude takes a dip. Double ugh.

Once again, Yum's tail decides to go all Metal Mario on us. Looking like one of those stupid silver fake Christmas trees, it lashes out again and again and leaves Rorschach feeling a little sore all over. While Yum clearly prefers to tenderize his meals before eating, Ror doesn't have such patience, as evidenced by the way he swoops forward and sinks his fangs into Yum's shoulder. Mmm. Sceptiles be tasty.

The two battlers continue their shenanigans. Yum resumes his strangle-the-living-croutons-out-of-Rorschach strategy, which proves pretty darn effective. Even as his Defence continues to nosedive, Rorschach thinks bright, happy thoughts. Clouds slide away and the sun burns with greater intensity. Who knew a Dark-type could manage such a sunny disposition?

Pow! Double-pow! Triple-pow! Rocks aplenty tumble down from idk where and buffet Rorschach in rapid succession. The Dragon bellows deeply and, rather pleased he chose not to take his pre-battle Tums, he spews hot fire all over Yum. The Flamethrower scorches the Sceptile like a pan of roasted veggies... covered in chilli powder... broiling in hell. Mmm. Sacrilicious.

Yum's big ol' prickly butt continues to prove beneficial as he Iron Tails Rorschach yet again. When the metal fades away, Rorschach, who's sick as balls of that metal ass-mallet, sinks his teeth into Yum's tail... hard. He gnashes his teeth four or five times, causing Yum to squeal like a little girl. Not a flattering situation to find oneself in. Oh, and look at that... his fortitude is also taking a dip. Well. Isn't this just lovely.

Oh, and Yum Kaax is like super freaking fast now. Unburden ftw!

It's been quite a ride, but there can be only one victor. In a final mad scramble, Yum is overwhelmed by a swell of unexpected anger ("yum cocks" flashback, maybe?) and boots it toward Rorschach. He leaps upon the many-faced monster and begins to strike with various kicks and swipes, each one powered by bluish energy. As his health rapidly slips away, Rorschach cranes his neck around and tries to unseat his opponent with a Fire Blast, but Yum maintains his grip upon Rorschach's body and Endures the hot attack. Rorschach, however, proves to be significantly less durable and flops down to the ground from the sheer strength of the combo attack. He faints.

Yum looks up and starts singing about pancakes. I'm not sure he knows he's won... but he has!
