Yeah. It's less likely to work with a move like Ice Punch, but if your Speed and EP are high enough, it can occasionally have favourable results.

    Huh.

Something to consider for the future I guess.

I'll send out Chadarnook, my Rotom who'll stay in its normal form for this battle.

I just like to utilize the fact that Gardevoir looks fit to be a dancer. :3

Hmm. Use Psychic first, just to get a good hit on him.

Then use Shadow Sneak to fade into the shadows, and wait until the last possible moment before you strike.

    Then use Psychic once more.

Use Magic Coat on any status moves, and use Snatch to steal any self-targeting moves (bar rest)

Psychic ~ Shadow Sneak ~ Psychic
    Subs: Magic Coat & Snatch

yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm using cheap subs. That'll only be for the first turn fighting a freaking rotom, I almost-promise.

Sorry man, been swamped recently with alot of stuff IRL.

Break her focus from that Psychic attack by scaring the beejesus out of her, then hit her in the shadows with a never-missing bolt and finish off by throwing a ball of spectral energy in her face.

    Oslo, you crack me up

Good stuff Chadarnook! Start things off by making up a medium-sized clone of yourself (about 10 HP) and then follow through with blowing out a phantasmal wind and finish off with another spectral energy ball in her face! Once more with feeling!

Go ahead and snatch that substitute.

Then we'll go ahead and zap this guy with a Thunderwave.

Finally, dodge the shadowball as best as you can, get in close, and use hypnosis to put him to sleep.

In it to win it Chadarnook!

Rush in to Rosa to quickly startle her while firing off a ball of spectral energy directly in her face and finish her off with a pulse of nasty thoughts to send her swooning!

Any recovery/stat boosting moves used except Rest, take'em away from her and defend yourself from any combos thrown your way

Astonish ~ Shadow Ball ~ Dark Pulse

Snatch - Any recovery/stat-boosting moves bar Rest

Switching out to Ralphie, my male snorlax with @Immune.

First thing, Ralphie, use Block. We don't want this thing getting away from us, now do we?

Then let's build us up a stockpile!

Oh well, then! Actually, I think I might be able to play this to my advantage.

Ralphie, use Amnesia on Snatch. Hopefully it works and we'll be without that dreadful move.

Next, use Zen Headbutt. 'cause that move is awesome and it will totally WRECK him!

Finish off with a powerful CRUNCH!

Even though you're paralyzed Chadarnook, you're still faster than that molasses-moving gigantor.

Hmm...need a bit of strategy here...

Infuriate him by showing off your swag then lets make him a little extra crispy and finish off by linking together with him to reset your health

Not true, sadly. D: Ralphie is faster here.

Anyway, BTPoke! You didn't answer my question about how to ref the thunderstorm. :U Is there a chance of lightning hitting the Pokemon? Is rain also in effect? Can weather moves negate the storm? I dun wanna eff it up.

    Oh, right, sorry about that.

In order: Yes (actual % chance is up to the ref), yes, and no. This storm is magically brought on by the magic of the orchard, and can't be negated by any moves or abilities.

Sorry I didn't get to that question earlier. I forgot xD
although this does give me something to add to my gym post. Thanks for that~

    Nicely done Chad!

Throw up another barrier to help protect you from physical attacks, then sap up those nice boosts that Ralphie managed to get and finish off by showing off your bravado and that paralysis means nothing at all to you!

I activate the Trap: Pulling a Rosalinda!

Using this trap, I get to recall my monster (pokemon) that's currently on the field, and replace him with any monster directly from my standby deck!
    Come back, Ralphie!
And now, using the effects of this trap, I call back to the field: Dark Magician Girl Rosalinda!

    "Gaaaardevoir"

    That's not all.

Thanks to the effect of this trap, after the end of the next battle phase, my Monster will gain a boost (rosalinda, use wish!).
Before my monster gains life points, however, the life points of both of our monsters are averaged to become equal at the end of the battle phase
(use pain split after he hits you (but before your wish comes true)!)

    So, just to recap:

Switch to rosalinda ~ Wish ~ Pain Split

    stupid lightning

Just... just get back out here, Ralph. You're needed once more. Yeesh, the field saves me once, and it screws me over just to make it up.

Ralphie, don't let Rosalinda's horribly unfair faint go to waste.
Start out the round with a Yawn, 'cause that Mofo is going to sleep now!
Next, use Psychic to telekinetically ram that glorified computer virus into the nearest tree.
Then finish the round with a good Shadow Ball!

Use protect against any usages of Pain split after the second turn.
Snatch anything Snatchable Bar rest. if you snatch something while using yawn, though, bump the moves a turn forward so you use yawn next.

EDIT: Also, I just thought of this; apparently the FIELD SPELL negates trap cards xDDDDDDDD

Welp, considering PC isn't going to be back for a month, and I really have pretty much have most of the "bugs" worked out of this gym, I say we just end it here, alright?

I could also use the battle slot, and I need to get my gym team worked out already xD

So, how's this going to wor- wait a second. If snorlax and Rotom are currently at equal health....
ugh. This is going to be a draw... isn't it?
