I just joined last month. So I'll take your challenge.

A couple rules I'd like to set:
    - Damage Cap: 49% (No 2HKO's)
    - Banned Moves: Selfdestruct, Explosion
    - Banned Abilites: Magic Bounce

You sending out first, or am I? And also, what's the size?

I agree to those rules. Lets make it a simple double battle. I would like to have you send yours out first, but how about the field? Does a stadium surrounded by high mountains that could drop boulders at any time sound good to you?
Also, how do you change the name of the thread? I can't figure it out

    A double Battle then.

Do you mean two Pomemon on the field at once?
    Arena sounds good to me.

Would you please describe the arena further? I need to know under which conditions these boulders fall down, or if I should make something up myself.

I thought anything that affected gravity/air pressure/excessive ground shaking could cause them to fall, hitting Pokemon randomly and dealing damage or just missing and causing them to loose a turn. Fire/ice attacks would affect air pressure

Tortition, use an iron defense followed by two flamethrowers at treeko.

    TEAM
    Darth vs. Techy
These two passionate combatants are duking it out under the following conditions! You might want to read them, as people are rumoring they contain helpful information!

    Arena
    => Mountain Arena
[ An Arena similar to Indigo Plateau, except it is built right in between two mountains. Some attacks might trigger the boulder to fall off, damaging one or more of the combatants. ]

    DQ Time
=> 7 days by default. More than enough time!
=> Note that DQ Time only comes into effect, when one of the combatants call it.

    Rules
=> A simple double battle. If both Pokémon of a trainer fainted, the battle is over.
=> Damage cap is set at 49% (srsly wtf why not 45%).

    Additions
=> There's no telling in terms of who got the upper hand right now.
=> Stones that hit the Battlers deal between 5 and 15% damage, and may hit up to 3 targets randomly chosen at once.

=> Stones fall down if attacks are directed at the arena, or affect gravity.

    ...Preparations...

    Team Darth_Jack

    Team Techy

    ------------------------------------------
GOD DAMN IT! Seriously? Darth, you will hear from my lawyer! Seriously now, before, we were on a giant plattform above the frickin' sea with noone around, and now I have to climb a mountain, JUST TO GET INTO THE ARENA? Seriously. I'M DONE! At least the two combatants look nice and fresh after their Donphan Ride. Someone should have told me that the ride for the referee is not included. Whatever. The combatants release their Pokémon, on one side the little fluffy cat-weasel-mouse thing and a turtle that smoked too much, on the other side an arrogant looking Gecko and a camel on fire. Great. Looking forward to ultimate dickishness.

    ♣ROUND 1♣

Alright! The trainer shout their commands, and the Pokémon get into action. Lord Lizardon would move first, but ends up waiting for the Eevee first. What a noble act! As Eevee wants to shower him with all her love, he simply sets a protect up and blocks it. Pff, he doesn't want this kind of relationship. The Eevee looks really disappointed. Whatever, let's focus on someone else. For example on Vulcan, who shakens the earth, throwing the Torkoal into the air. Unfortunately, some rocks fall down as well, hitting Tortition again. Lizardon would get a load as well, but he loves his shield too much to get damage this round. Torkoal just goes back in his shell, frustrated.
    [ -0 HP | -8 EP | ~ ]
    [ -0 HP | -6 EP | ~ ]
    [ -0 HP | -9 EP | ~ ]
    [ -15 HP; -11 HP | -6 EP | Defense (+2) ]

Oh, are these puny attacks over already? The Treecko sits on the ground and starts to think bright thoughts. Suddenly, the clouds that were never presend dissolve, and the sun starts to shine brightly, and he lies down to bath in it. Eevee in the meantime decides to give her love luck another shot, and tries her best on the Camerupt, who puts up a shield as well. Noone wants love... I see. Torkoal, deciding that the sun is not intense enough to sunbath in it, turns up the heat for the little Treecko. A bit too much though, so Lord Lizardon starts running around, burning. (Disclaimer: He doesn't actually burn. I just felt like writing it.)
Also, Sunny Day is in effect now! The power of water moves is weakened, and fire moves get a little boost! Solar Beam takes no time to charge as well.
    [ -16 HP | -6 EP | ~ ]
    [ -0 HP | -6 EP | ~ ]
    [ -0 HP | -8 EP | ~ ]
    [ -0 HP | -8 EP | ~ ]

As he finally stopped burning, (Disclaimer: See Disclaimer disclaiming the burning above) Lord Lizardon decides that it is time for some lazer action! He uses the power of the sunlight to instantly unleash a blast of solar energy into the Eevee's face. But all she wanted was loooooove! That's it! She avenges herself with a ball of pure shadows, knocking the Treecko over a bit. A tiny bit. Vulcan in the meantime seems to think that Eevee should give the love thing another shot and tries to attract her, with great sucess. It does seem a bit weird, but whatever! Torkoal in the meantime fires another flamethrower, giggling into his shell while burning the Treecko alive with sun-boosted power. (Disclaimer: See the disclaimer above redirecting you to the disclaimer that disclaims the burning)
    [ -21 HP; -8 HP | -10 EP | ~ ]
    [ -14 HP | -8 EP | Attracted to Vulcan ]
    [ -0 HP | -6 EP | ~ ]
    [ -0 HP | -8 EP | ~ ]

    ------------------------------------------

    ...Afterwards...

    Team Darth_Jack

    Team Techy

    Referee Notes
    • Techy will issue his commands next!
    • Unless overcome, Attract will stay in effect for 9 more actions!
    • Unless interrupted, the effect of Sunny Day will remain for 11 more actions!
    • If the Energy of a Pokémon happens to reach 0, it will lose 1 HP for every 2 EP consumed. Also, it's action pool is reduced to two per round. However, the effect of "Relax" is doubled.

Overgrow should kick in now, so...

Lord Lizardon: SolarBeam (Eevee) ~ Swords Dance ~ Quick Attack (Eevee)
Sub: If Eevee uses attract, use Protect

Vulcan: Amnesia (Torkoal) ~ Yawn (Torkoal) ~ Yawn (Eevee)

One quick question here, does the infatuation only affect moves directed towards the camerupt, or to both of them

Eevee, use protect, then double team, then retaliate on treeko.
Tortition, use solar beam on camerupt, then protect, and finally use fire blast on treeko.
    Eevee: protect~double team~retaliate
    Tortition:solar beam~protect~fire blast

@Techy How is that? Overgrow comes into effect when your Pokémon reached 33%.

@Jack Well, I ref infatuation a bit different than described in the Stratedex. Basically you have a 50% Chance that your attacks against the user of attract fails. If you target someone else in multi-battles, there's a 20% of the move to fail.

    Sunny Day in effect!
    ♣ROUND 2♣

Lord Lizardon takes a few steps back to charge for another Beam attack. Using the sunlight, he instantly fires it off, but it dissolves once more at the protective barrier around Eevee. You want no love, you get no damage. That's how it works. Kinda. Vulcan, still surprised he didn't even get scratched last round, decides to share his surprise with Tortition, who instantly forgets how to breath flames. Whaaaaaaat. It's like he never knew! Whatever, he's still able to shoot a sun-induced solar beam at Vulcan, ending his unscratched spree after 3 actions.

    [ -0 HP | -10 EP | Forgot Flamethrower ]

Lord Lizardon realizes by now, that his attacks are futile against the Eevee's powerful defense, so he just starts showing off with some sick dance moves instead, boosting his attack. Eevee in the meantime gets bored with no attacks directed at her, so she just duplicates herself, to have SOME company at least. And this company is huge, as 6 more Eevee's join the battle. Holy. Didn't even know that was possible. Vulcan, hit by the Solar Beam is getting tired and lets out a yawn. But the Torkoal is prepared and already hides behind a protective barrier. Does that work in real life? I need to learn that TM at some point.

Are we finally up for some damage? Yes? Lord Lizardon, ignoring the fact that he's the fastest on the field anyway, moves at extreme speed, most likely to show off again. He completely destroys... a clone. But it was worth a try! Eevee avenges her fallen comrade who isn't all that fallen in the meantime, dealing a fair bit of damage to the Treecko. Vulcan is still not impressed, and starts another yawn, and does hit the right Eevee with the cloud of sleepyness. However, all clones go sleepy as well, so you are still not able to determine who's who. Damn it! Torkoal, still not able to recall his flame breathing skills, goes for a giant frickin' flamecross instead, because that's COMPLETELY different and sends it into the Treecko's direction, completely roasting the poor gecko. He barely stands after the attack, but starts glowing in a mysterious greenish way.

Torkoal, use fire blast twice at treeko, then iron defense. If they true to use yawn or any status affect, use protect and use fire blast on treeko in place of iron defense.
Eevee, use shadow ball on camerupt, followed by double team, then attract on camerupt.

    ♣ROUND 3♣

The Lord is talented in close combat as well it seems. With a complex punch, don't ask me how a punch can be complex, he drains some life out of the Eevee. She decides to throw a ball of spooky power at the Camerupt, which is as effective as a little Poliwag bubbling a huge Charizard, which is not very effective at all. Damn! Vulcan in the meantime ignores the attack on him, and looks derpier than before, resulting in Torkoal getting confused again, forgetting how to use Fire Blast, just before he intended to do so. That sucks. However, he managed to remember the correct use of Flamethrower again, so that's a plus!

    [ -8 HP | -7 EP | ~ ]
    [ -0 HP | -10 EP | Forgot Fire Blast | Remembered Flamethrower ]

Time to put overgrow to good use! Lizardon tries to combine Bulletseed and the boost from overgrow as well as sword dance to a deadly barrage of seeds, but ends up hitting a clone. At least it was impressive. A tiny bit. Not at all, as the clone just reappeared. Now we have 7 Eevees again, great! Vulcan wants Tortition to forget Fire Blast. Again? Whatever, he wouldn't be able to breath his flames Lizardon's way, so nothing happens at all. Cool round!

    [ -0 HP | -6 EP | ~ ]
    [ -0 HP | -9 EP | ~ ]

Screw this! Nothings working out at all! Lizardon decides to just take a break from attacking, and regenerates a fair bit of health, while the Eevee takes a nap. Tortition hides in his shell again, while Vulcan throws him around a bit. Relaxing, yet boring.

    Referee Notes
    • Techy will issue his commands next!
    • Excuse the lack of flavour text towards the end, I ran out of motivation.
    • Unless overcome, Attract will stay in effect for 3 more actions!
    • Unless interrupted, the effect of Sunny Day will remain for 5 more actions!
    • Unless overcome, Eevee will stay asleep for 14 more actions!
    • If the Energy of a Pokémon happens to reach 0, it will lose 1 HP for every 2 EP consumed. Also, it's action pool is reduced to two per round. However, the effect of "Relax" is doubled.

Lord Lizardon: Protect yourself so Camerupt can unleash an earthquake, follow it up with a GrassWhistle on Torkoal, then a Drain Punch on Eevee.

Vulcan: Unleash a powerful Earthquake on the Battlefield, then follow up with a Rock Slide and finish with an Earth Power on Torkoal.

Eevee, just use rest three times if you can still hear me.
Tortition, use solar beam on camerupt, then use protect, and finally use heat wave.
    Eevee:rest X3
    Tortition: solar beam~protect~heat wave.

One thing, it seems I forgot to note that Overgrow is no longer in effect. It doesn't change your commands though, as you ordered nothing that works with Overgrow.

    ♣ROUND 4♣

Let's get this going! I was a bit lazy and slept on the rock over there, but after THIS FUDGIN' EARTHQUAKE I fell off and hit my head. Techy, you will hear from my lawyer as well! The earthquake is still rumblin' and Lord Lizardon shows off once more, by surfing on his protective shield. Douche. Eevee doesn't really care about all this shizzle and rolls around in the quake, getting a bit of damage, but she does look incredibly well rested afterwards. What the hell. Tortition seems to be the only one that can't stand the shaking and unleashes a mighty greenish laser at the Camerupt, who instantly stops the quaking and falls over when he got hit. Wait. Eevee DID care, as all of her clones vanished by now. Damn it!

    [ -12 HP | +14 EP | Doppelganger (vanished) | Sleepcounter: -3 ]
    [ -12 HP | -9 EP | ~ ]
    [ -10 HP | -11 EP | ~ ]

Lord Lizardon, sad that his surfing had to end, plays a sad tune about how everything could have went if Tortition didn't knock Vulcan over. It's pretty depressing actually, but the Torkoal doesn't hear a single word, as he used his protect as some kind of ear plug, looking incredibly derpish. Good Job! While Eevee continues her nap, Vulcan decides to wreck havoc and it starts raining. Stones. GOOD THING I FORGOT MY STEELBRELLA! However, they fall precisely over Tortition and Eevee, so I have nothing to worry about. Though the two Pokémon don't seem to be worried either. Torkoal blocks the stones with his extended ear plug shield, while Eevee continues to dream about her cute Vulcan. Oh god why.

    [ -8 HP | +13 EP | Sleepcounter: -2 ]
    [ -0 HP | -9 EP | ~ ]
    [ -0 HP | -8 EP | ~ ]

Lizardon charges his fist with draining powers once more, and dances over to Eevee, while pirouettingly punching her in the face, completely throwing her over. But whatever, she's still sleeping, although her love to Vulcan vanished. Speaking of Vulcan, he continues the turtle shaking thing, but only includes Tortition this time, who sends a giant wave of heat as instant revenge, burning Lizardon. That's what you get! Lizardons eyes start glowing again. I think someone's really mad!

    Referee Notes
    • Darth_Jack will issue his commands next! However, your Torkoal is limited to 2 commands!
    • I interpreted your "Rest" command as Relax. I guess that is what you meant, as rest would have failed miserably while being asleep. Also, every Pokémon is able to use "Sleep Talk" while asleep, in case you didn't know that. Also, if you tell your Eevee to use "REST" again, I will take it as rest the next time.
    • Unless interrupted, the effect of Sunny Day will remain for 2 more actions!
    • Unless overcome, Eevee will stay asleep for 3 more actions!
    • The Burn will not stop by itself. If you don't have any water attacks in your arsenal, I'm sure you can think of other ways to stop the burning. Non-attacks to stop burning will consume an action though.
    • If the Energy of a Pokémon happens to reach 0, it will lose 1 HP for every 2 EP consumed. Also, it's action pool is reduced to two per round. However, the effect of "Relax" is doubled.

One quick question on sleep talk, because it lets me use a move from my move pool, an eevee has a lot of possible moves, do I get to choose like 10 to choose from, or will you pick the move at random.

I will pick a move at random, out of every move Eevee is able to learn. (:
It will cost 10 EP, no matter what move is used.

Ok thanks. I'll make my moves now.
Tortition, use flame thrower, followed by a Lava plume at treeko. If they use a move that would put you to sleep, use protect instead, and if treeko has fainted and you still have a move left, use relax instead.
Eevee, use sleep talk three times.
    Tortition:flame thrower~lava plume sub:protect/relax
    Eevee: Sleep talk~sleep talk~sleep talk

Hey Puma, I see flame thrower crossed out under Torkoal, but amnesia last worked on fire blast and you stated he relearned flamethrower. In the first move of round 3. Is that a mistake?

It is indeed. I'll correct it as soon as I get back on my pc.
Edit: Should be fine now. Reffing this tomorrow, need to do the Degenerator first.

EditEditEdit: Also, I've corrected the Doppelganger Stat at the end. If all your clones vanish, you shouldn't have 6 left. :'D
EditEditEditEdit: Treecko should have done more damage regarding his status boost. The Boost will tripple for the next round twice, so everything is alright again. (God, I had to be drunk when I reffed this last round)

    ♣ROUND 6♣

Another round... Could this one decide the outcome of this battle already? We will see! Lizardon, still the fastest on the field, punches Eevee in the face with draining force again, causing it to wake up again! Shit's about to go down now! Except that it's not. It tries to use Sleep Talk, but is not asleep at all, so that pretty much failed. Damn it. Vulcan is as lucky as Eevee and tries to let her forget the never used Sleep Talk. But as Relaxing is not forgettable as well, this failed as well. In a wild attempt to get ANYTHING right, Torkoal burns Lizardon's face, roasting it to a nicely brown color. It looks almost like a marshmallow in green on a campfire!

    [ -22 HP | -0 EP | Woke up! | Sleepcounter: -4 ]
    [ -0 HP | -0 EP | ~ ]
    [ -4 HP due to fatigue | -0 EP | ~ ]

Lizardon, not planning on moving second anytime soon, starts to charge at the Eevee once again, but ends up tripping over a pebble and only manages the still confused Eevee in the tail. I'm not sure how that was able to hurt it so bad, but she does look like she would be in pain, while still trying to figure out what to do. Even though Vulcan didn't know what to do at first, he seems to have decided on turtleshaking once more. Urgh, you've hit a nerf there! Suddenly, flames errupt from every direction, hitting not only the opponents, but Eevee as well, knocking it out. Damn Teamkillers! Not on ASB too! The world sheds a tear, and even the sky grew darker...
    [ +7 HP; -18 HP; -4 HP due to fatigue | -1 EP | ~ ]

    [ -9 HP; -1 HP due to fatigue | -6 EP | ~ ]
    [ -14 HP; -4 HP due to fatigue | -0 EP | ~ ]

Now with Eevee out of the way, who would probably stand around and wonder what she should do next, Lizardon and Vulcan unite forces for once and start a combined barrage of attacks at the poor Tortition, who takes the hits not good at all, and falls to the ground, defeated. Wait what? Seriously? I didn't think this would be over that soon in an instant! And this is not the only thing that surprises me. Lord Lizardon used up all his energy with that last punch, and falls to his exhaustion. I'm confused. In a severe way. Going to hit myself in the face a few times. I guess we have a winner? I think? Maybe?
    [ -2 HP due to fatigue | -8 EP | Fainted! ]

No but seriously now. What happened? Anyway, I think that was it! Darth, you should really add subs to your commands in situations like that! Like, if you wake up, do this instead. Anyway, it was a nice battle none the less, and it definitely looked grim for Techy before Eevee fell asleep. And with that, let me hand you over your points, which is 2 for Darth and 4 for Techy and me, and let me fly off on my pidgey. SEE YA LATER!
(Wait, if I give you the points, don't I have unlimited ones then? FUCK! I never noticed!)

    Referee Notes
    • I did not expect this fight to end this round at all. I recalculated everything, and it would have been over even without me adding +2 Attack for Treecko this round, so don't blame that on me! I'm innocent!
    • If the Energy of a Pokémon happens to reach 0, it will lose 1 HP for every 2 EP consumed. Also, it's action pool is reduced to two per round. However, the effect of "Relax" is doubled.
