===Round 1===

Whoo! Here we are on the fabled Indigo Plateau. Standing amongst the field that has crowned many a Champion- we find two stalwards to the game. Though under a new moniker, I believe that's Chaos there-redefined as Nepence. Squaring off against him is the newly modded damsel of disaster, Ayeun. She wastes no time in starting this battle off, as Burn stamps in place and roars. Elekid charges up and merely lets loose a wave of electricity which is met with a potent stream of fire. The flamethrower punctures a hole in the Discharge wave, saving urn from the immediate electrical shock

The tiny tiger was not worried at all, as sparks flew from his head adornment. That was now lowered. A full out charge toward the Fire type was ill advised, as he ran straight into a Dragon Pulse that knocked him backwards. Sprawled upon the field, Elekid slowly rose to his feet. That's smarts.

Burn snorted out a firebooger, and began to slam the ground with her tail. As rocks unearthed themselves and flew through the air, Burn received her very first electrostimulation. The well timed bolt came from the little one's hands, right before they were filled to the maximum with Burn's heavy Rock collection.

Pushing pas the initial shock of being hit, Burn stamps her feet and raises her clawed appendages. She noted her opponent marching toward her, charging up that electric element through its left arm. So, as per instruction, the shield was raised to deter the incoming. Poor Burn. Elekid seemed to lift that Protection energy like it was a short curtain, and let his left fist spark a bit so it hit her in the face. Then the full fist rammed into her stomach as she went to scratch her snout.

Burn snarled on the ground, as the Elekid took advantage of her downed adversary. He calmly placed one hand on her back, and raised another to the sky. Almost instantly, a searing Thunderbolt coursed from the heavens-down through its channeler to the opponent. Needless to say, Burn was not pleased. She grunted and dug into the ground, before knocking that Elekid back with the fury of the stones that lay beneath. Elekid just lied amidst the rubble, stunned.

Elekid was slightly stunned, as he lied back in his strange Rock created recliner. But there was no piece, a wave of sonicfied energy blasted him free and left him to smolder on the field. Burn licked her chops, pleased with her Dragon Pulse thus far.

Burn was a bit heated over how this situation was ending up. Did the Elekid care? No, not really. You could tell, cause that beady eyed electrimaniac let loose another discord of unbalanced ions. The waves of enveloping charges swept the area, even as Burn slashed and hacked at the ground to try and avoid the attack. It left a nasty cross stitch sore on Burn's tail.

With the opponent gone, Elekid looked around, confused. Where was its challenge? What was it to do wit this ionic bolt of justice? He scanned the field, and then realized that the ground might suddenly go out from under him. So he jumped. Into the trap. Burn lunged from an angle instead of directly under, throwing Elekid off of its aim as the Thunderbolt came crackling down. Burn slashed with a released fury, pummeling the sockethead back to terra.

She wasted no time in firing another Flamethrower, completely engulfing Elekid. The wailing screams only seemed to accentuate its use of Discharge next-more as a reactionary fault than a proactive assault. Either way, she wasn't ready. Burn fell back, feeling the overcoming effects of paralysis.

Burn really wasn't having this match be this close anymore. Jaws sprung open and a cerulean purple light flashed three times before blasting free in its hottest incantation: dragonflame. The stream draconic reached the opponent, but Elekid stood his ground, holding the pulse back with a ever expanding screen of energy made at the perfect moment..

Glad that he bought himself some time, Elekid fell backwards and tried to relax. Tried is the main word, as Burn was not going to tolerate anyone just sleeping on her. Flames of her aligned type were next to try and roast the little yellow sparkplug. But Elekid seemed to be on the beneficial end, despite the malarkey that was a Burn. (-1)

Sleepy sleep sleep sleep! That's what's happening. He's asleep. Burn's pissed. She shakes the shivers off and roars in Frustration. The sound alone could melt eardums to auditory canals, let alone the thrashing Elekid got! Elekid seems to rustle a bit, and he only...rolled over and Snored in retaliaton. Ha. Look at that. Battle of who can make the most annoying sound in the world! (-1)

Elekid rolled over again, into a foot. A foot that was moving at a high velocity (OMFG DID YOU SEE THE JP TRAILER! OMFG SO EXCITE!) A foot that made sure to dig its claws into Elekid's side before kicking it away, leaving nasty gouge marks. Yeah no THAT woke the Pokemon up, and how! Elekid sat there, drowsy and confused as to what happened. (-1)

Awakened early, Elekid groggily shakes his head, barely recalling something about Countering, and just decided to follow that lead. Burn ran in again, glad her body was feeling limber from all the heat she was giving off. Grabbing it by its head, she lifted it up and began slamming Elekid into the ground, repeatedly. Until finally Elekid woke up after Grand Slam #7. He planted his feet and umkped back when she lifted him for the 8th time, throwing her off balance. This allowed him to place his feet on her face, and repeatedly kick her with the backwards momentum, bringing her down on her back. (-1)

Elekid and Burn both were run down from their match, but Elekid seemed to think that sleep would be his friend. As Burn took a forced siesta, Elekid used the rest of its energy to sleep away the burning sensations...and regain a smidgen of health.

Noting her opponent creating the divide more and more, Burn showed her frustration once more, stamping and slashing and tearing into the sleeping 9volt. Man, he could sleep through alot. It seemed to not be in his favor anymore though-as his fun shield of guarding broke down-leaving him fully exposed.

No way to protect itself, Elekid would suddenly be privy to a massive charging of energy-right before a blast of power sent it skidding across the arena. Foks, I think we might have a clear cut winner after these five rounds. With Elekid down-there doesn't seem to be anything that Burn can't accomplish. Will the yellow electric terror step up to the plate, or will he sleep this match away!

Burn sat right down and stared at her tail flame, as a current coursed through her. There seemed to be some sort of hypnotic effect to it-as she swayed it to and fro. At first, it seemed like your normal Chartailflame, until it flared up with the passing of a certain snore. The flame doubled in sizde and her focus broke from it and onto the Elekid.

Damn. She done Blazed up.

The only plus to a sleeping opponent is the fact that...well...its sleeping! Burn rolled her neck back and stood up- feeling her second wind adjust itself.

Elekid really has no protection right now. So with Burn standing over him, I'd hope he--no, no waking up. Just a torrential downpour of flames. Repeatedly. It's insane how much fire can really coat something. It's like airy lava..

Elekid winced in achy pain. All the rest in the world and he still felt distressed and tight. Not to mention there was a beast of the fire inclination blowing flames his way, He tried o scuttle backwards and throw a blast of light to confuzzle the beast. But the flames swallowed the light before devouring him as well.
