Hey all. I want to try and get this place going again so how about we get some more battles up in here? Any challenger come on by, don't even cares if you have leveled pokes and want to totally dominate the noob. In fact... that should be made into a holiday some time... but anyways, dominate the noob day will have to wait. Come on anyone and give me a good fair battle... and by fair I mean it's in your power to totally whoop my lower level pokes and crush my spirits so I weep girly tears.

I'll go first, first up is my first Fairy type, Collete Brunel the Female Swirlix with Sweet Veil.

It will take some time for the place to get lively again, but the activity should help. ^.^ So ref, since I called out my mon second I'll take the honors of commanding first.

Bruce start off with a Bulk Up and make those stats go up! Follow up with a Focus Energy, and finally hit with a Karate Chop!

Hrm. Slowly taking reffings again. Forgot how easy balancing these could be when things go well. Anyway, here we are. Open field with some trees and large rocks. Perfect spring day. Greiger has been waiting patiently for this battle to start and now that I stopped being old and decrepit, we can begin. Emerald, who is by now seasoned to the art of battling here-releases a Swirlix.

Sorry, that thing is ugly. Not nostalgia ugly-like "I'm one shade of color off from being snot colored" ugly. So it stands to reason that it would cry from that remark. I'm not offended, and Bruce seems to not really care as it is over there flexin...for who?!?!

Well, that went well. It's still crying. Now I want Bruce to hit it. But does he? No. He continues the agony and keeps thinking all this Focus is going to land him somewhere...

Oh. Wait. Its over? Big ass baby. Colette gives ME a dirty look before turning back to Bruce, and giving him a raspberry. OH JEEZUS NO BRIGHT HELLION OF LIGHT WHAT IS THAT?

So, some strange burst of light erupted from that little things body, and now Bruce is laid out on the ground, confused about its place in the world. After a good minute, Bruce kips up and delivers a hefty Karate Cop to that cream puff's head. But...yeah, no that doesn't even compare, buddy.

That Swirlix is really a bit of a crybaby. Screeches and yelps overrun the playing field, and even though they seem to dampen the Machop's spirits, he still throws her aside like a ragdoll. Sorry Colette, no angel type move here...right?

Colette stayed face down, as Machop stomped over to try and knock some sense into her. He was still pretty focused on the fight, He was going to need it, because to my own horror-the heavens opened for this goshdarned cotton candy swirl and released the light version of the Kraken on Bruce. Bruce first was flattened, then knocked sky high! He fell back down and held his chest, before slamming his fist into Colette's head not once, but twice. Revenge felt good, but was it enough to keep him in this matchup?

Feeling the shock of that attack almost made Bruce lose it, and yet here goes another light show from the heavens O lawdy lawdy! Bruce goes stumbling from the shine, and grips the ground, before ramming his shoulder into Colette. There was a moment there where Colette seemed pained-more than usual from that strike. But nit would totally help if Bruce could...you know..diversify his attack stream.

Bruce seems not to be able to handle the heavens attacking him as it is currently doing. He huffs and puffs trying to mentally prepare himself for all this hurt that Swirlix is going to get thrust into its life.

Bruce picked himself up out the dirt and gave a epic battle cry as he streaked across the field. There was no turning back now. Colette looked in sheer fear as that hand finally came down on her skull-and snapped her head back from its impressive force. That was good business. The angels stopped their assault to look at their Chosen one for a moment, as she tried to regain her composure.

That she did. And the heavens let loose another epic attack of light and anguish upon Bruce.

Well... on the one hand I have favorites in fighting and dark types... so I can easily see myself losing this battle. I'll be trying though! Probably crashing and burning, but at least it'll also be a quick battle at that.

I know this is bad but first Holy Song (Safe Guard+Reflect) (can't learn Reflect are you serious) followed by a Dazzling Gleam, if it ain't broke don't fix it

Alright Blink, well... we'll see how short this will be. Start off with a Bullet Punch to get some damage in. Before that Reflect comes up hit with a Vacuum Wave and as that Dazzling Gleam comes use a Detect to dodge it. Even though this battle will end with our defeat it doesn't mean we just have to give up here and now!

One out, but that doesn't stop Blink. He spins on the field, and before Collete was even fully aware of what she was fighting, WHAM-Punch to the face. She backed up a few steps, stunned that the strike actually hurt. So, she sang a hymn to the unwitting fighter. Unsure if he was being praised, Blink stopped spinning to listen.

Nope. It was praise. But it only seemed to benefit Colette. She was draped in a nice veil of status invincibility..

Unsure about the lyrics, Blink whizzed right back up to the cotton puff and WHAM again! Colette needed more times to find the right words, but she just wasn't given any. So, after the strike to her face that was more in line to what she was being dealt all game; she casted heaven's wrath upon the poor Blink. Slam bam thank you ma'am!

But now here was a problem. Colette managed to completely be out of moves as Blink slowly recovered from that blast. This gave Blink some time to plan his next move. He didn't strike, which was probably good. Instead, he hung back and watched to see what play might be completed. None was.

I'm sorry DL... but Blink is a Hitmonchan as I stated before. I think you misread that. But anyways my go now. For this first turn if a attack comes at you get ready with a Detect. If not then do a Bulk Up. For the second turn wait for an attack and go in for a Revenge. If no attack comes then use a Bullet Punch. Finally for last round go out with a Close Combat.

Anyway. Colette licks her sweet lips and watches Blink just, stand there. Gloves down. Guard completely non-existent. Well ok then. With no danger coming from her opponent, this was just as good a time as any to not perform one, not two, but three self help moves at once. Blink stared in amazement as a cavaclade of sparkles and sprinkles fell on Colette, buffing her in specific parameters he could not fully encapsulate.

With the light show over, Colette looked ready for battle. So Blink blinked, and punched his fists together, readying himself for the fight.

Now Collete was in trouble. Because she forced herself to boost up, she had no defense for a few moments. With no objection, Blink rammed one steeled fist into her midsection, Collete tried her best not to double over. The speed was shocking, but the force did seem hampered. So Blink followed up with a deluge of punches that beat Collete into the ground. Sometimes, its better to fall immediately.

Well, things aren't looking good but the time away has given me plenty of time to think of an awesome back up plan. One that will revolutionize battling forever. QUICK PUNCH IT! PUNCH IT! More specifically punch that fairy face so hard that the fairy faints! Go first for a FirePunch, then follow up with a ThunderPunch, and finally after that use a Detect if a attack is coming your way. If there is no attack instead use a IcePunch. Yah for finally figuring out to use elemental punches! I be very smarts.

Well, this round comes off to a marvelous start. After all this time, Blink finally channels his energy and decides to call upon some elemental fury to aid him in this match. He needs it, as that powderpuff is once again buffing itself up like a bag of chips. ALL air no innards! But, even as it puffs, it can't deny the flames that now lick at its sugary lumps. There's danger in those hits now.

Buffed after that swift fiery beatdown, Collete keeps hoping against hope that something will befall her, and ironically, something does. As she calls for a sparkling strike against Blink-there seems to be a sheen about her-and her speed rises. The blinding force leaves Blink wincing, but it seems that there's still a special delivery for the cotton ball!

Blink groaned from the last set of strikes, but made sure to line up his next attack. A strong slam and wham, there his fist went. Right into an amorphous barrier that negated any ill effect on the parrying party. Blink retracted and resumed his hopping guard stance, eager to continue. He had her right where he wanted her...

Whoa what? Stop it, that can't be activity? But yes. With a crackling fist of ice to its disposal, Blink dashes over and plants its fist right into the holy LIGHT OF HEAVEN GEEZ CAN IT STOP FIRING THOSE! Blink swings viciously, both fists shining and refracting the immense amount of light that begins to bathe, and then envelop him in an insidious manner.

The Gleam blast dissipates, and all I see is Colette grinning as Blink lies on the ground, Dazed. Blink groans, and rolls over, still able to continue....barely
