I had a funny feeling I might run into my first legendary at some point, but before I make my next move, I want to ask a question.

How much would it cost me to bring in a third Pokemon to help Kratos and Auron (for example, if the third Pokemon was to be my male Absol, Sabre), if I didn't buy any additional Poke Balls?

Can't bring anymore pokémon once your journey's started, I'm afraid. You're stuck with the two you've brought in.

In that case, I'll turn to the Deoxys and tell it I wish I could challenge it to a battle in order to attempt to earn its trust, but that battle will have to come another time (I suppose now if my next trip is a Speed one, I'll be able to go after this Deoxys then, right?). From there I'll keep searching the graves.

Besides that, I don't have an Ultra Ball, so I can't catch Deoxys on this trip.

Kyurem nods in agreement and agrees to take you to the ice golem. You decide first to rest up for a little bit beforehand, however.

After a good half-hour of waiting around, your wounds are healed and your pokémon are ready. Kyurem urges you to climb on its back. You do so, and the ice dragon leaps high into the air before jetting through the air through the tundra. You bob and weave through the stalagmites until you spot your prize:

Bombardment 2 - Skies of Arcadia

Regice starts the battle quickly by summoning a powerful hailstorm to engulf the arena. With the weather on its side, Regice follows up with a pair of nasty ice beams that knock the wind out of your grass pokémon. She pulls away from the attacks quite nicely before responding with a nasty set of spores that constrict the ice giant's muscles (that it totally has, am I right?). Her next act of business is to get rid of this nasty ice, and she does so with a sunny day! The sun gets stronger, melting away the nasty blades of ice raining from the skies. She then plants her roots firmly in the ground, hoping to get some nutrients along the way.
