Get in a quick Solar beam, and then Dazzling Gleam, finishing with a Sludge Bomb.

Okay Auron, just a little more work and we should be able to catch this Zoroark.

Use another Aura Sphere to get him off of you to start. However, if he manages to avoid damage from that Aura Sphere, give him another Drain Punch, and try to make it good enough so that it doesn't knock the Zoroark out, but rather, leaves him weak enough for a (relatively) easy catch.

From there, I'm going to send out Kratos, and have him use Hypnosis until the Zoroark falls asleep. If he is asleep and weak enough (r.g. under 20% health is good, but under 15% health would be better), I'll throw my Great Ball, hoping for the best.

THE ICEY GOLEM
Bombardment 2 - Skies of Arcadia

Regice, none too pleased with the sudden sunnyness, decides to clash its arms together to create another terrible snowstorm. Great. Raff, having already tried absorbing the sun's rays, can't stop right away and is instead pelted with nasty hail. Regice then blasts your grass pokémon with a horrible blizzard, nearly freezing her feet to the floor. She struggles to move as Regice preps for one last blizzard, but it remains motionless. Paralysis is a nasty one!

As your luck moves forward, Raff finally releases the pent-up solar beam and blasts the ice golem to the snow banks. With her foe nicely on the floor, she then hits with a beautiful dazzling gleam!

Feeling confident in your abilities, you summon Kratos back into the field to aid Auron, who fires at Zoroark with a nasty aura sphere. The sphere of fighting energy is enough to force the dark pokémon into a kneeling position as Kratos lulls him to sleep quite nicely. Auron finally uses a drain punch to knock the snoozing wolf off his feet and you hurl your great ball!

The blue sphere snatches Zoroark and shakes three times.

Round ONE FORTY-THREE
You quickly leave the tomb as Esquire reshapes himself once more to accommodate everyone. With everyone secured on his back, Esquire shoots off into the sky and towards the Old Village.

After a couple of hours a solid flying, you reach the village and eventually the derelict playhouse. You can hear a mumbling noise nearby, but can't quite get a feel for where it's coming from.

THE ICEY GOLEM
Bombardment 2 - Skies of Arcadia

Raff decides to trip up this legendary pokémon with three swift grass knots. She whips them out and around Regice's icy cold body and pulls hard, causing it to stumble to the floor harshly. But Regice isn't going to fall that easily, and latches onto the whips and pulls forward, launching Raff high into the air before breathing a double-dosed blast of frost breath. Both attacks snap Raff out of the air and to the snowbank.

This is gonna be tougher than you thought.

As the Artist continues to paint some additions to your airship (a place for you all to sit would be nice), Ca gives you some more information about what you need to do to illegally sneak into Platrin.

CA "We can sneak in without the required artifacts, but we're going to need some facsimiles. I figure that this smeargle here can at least make some. That should get us in. However, the plateau isn't just a regular place: it's a living, breathing entity. Once it realizes that the artifacts are fake, it will turn on us. Wave after wave of pokémon will surge at us with reckless abandon. We can't possibly fight them all, so we'll definitely have to play this smart. This'll likely be a oneway trip for the lot of us." "Deep in the Sunshine Fields is a monolith. If we take our fake artifacts there, a portal will open up and allow us to enter the plateau."

Can you explain if what the required artifacts are for entering Platrin Plateau and how difficult will it be to acquire said artifacts?

CA "There are five of them scattered all along the Safari Zone. Each time a trainer uses them to enter the plateau, the monolith sends them all away to different locations. As much as I would love to take the easy path, Chaos, we're kind of on a time budget, here."

As Ca is explaining to you the lore, the Artist makes the finishing touches on his airship, with enough seating for a lot of the army. The flying pokémon may have to fly on their own, however.

The Old Village
This is the old location of the village before the battling league moved the village a mile east. In this ancient test of time, among old buildings and disused shops you will find a variety of city pokémon living in solitude. Rumor has it there are secrets underneath the village.
Weather - Cloudy; hellish; thunderstorm imminent.


Round NINETY-EIGHT
Before you climb aboard the hot air drifblim, Ca describes (in intricate detail) the five artifacts to the Artist, who commits them to memory. You and your party of pokémon climb aboard while Ca and Flemming, the fletchkinder, shoot higher into the air. Sango, the dewott, takes the helm as the Artist quickly gets to work.

It takes almost an hour of solid flight before you reach the spot, but the time allowed for you to get your bearings in order. The Artist presents the feints to the shrine as a sharp beam of light shoots into the sky, opening a portal.

CA "This portal will take us straight to Patrin Plateau. We'll only have a few minutes before it completely turns on us. Is everyone sure they want to go through with this?"

Round ONE FORTY-EIGHT
The cluster of dark pokémon don't look too pleased that all their hard work has led to this outcome, and they ready themselves to attack. You and your team ready up as well, but before they can pounce, the legendary darkrai waves his arms and forces them all to fall to sleep. That was simple.

Ditto emerges amongst the slumbering pokémon reshaped to fit the occasion.

darkrai "My name is Theseus. Believe me when I say this, Oslo, I mean no harm to you or your pokémon. The cresselia you know as Moonscape, my sister Ariadne, is safe here. She tells me that you are looking for Victini. And I think that we can help you find them...

Moonscape emerges from the shadows much to your surprise and asks your party to close their collective eyes. You acknowledge her wishes until you feel yourself falling to sleep.

When you awaken, you are alone with vast amounts of forestry around you. The skies are yellow and unsettling, but you pay them no real mind.

You can hear a childlike laughter coming from the north.
