Doesn't matter who. I just wanna try out a battle I think should prove to be interesting. I'll spill the details when I get two volunteers.

Alright, volunteers are here! This battle's going to be a pretty standard 2-on-2 on the Indigo Plateau.

All pokémon in play will only be able to use their attacks a set amount of times, based on the number of PP it has in the games. For example -- Hydro Pump has 5PP in the games. That's how many times your pokémon will be able to use that attack in this battle. Meanwhile, Water Gun has 40PP. That seems excessive, so we're gonna cut that down a bit -- 15 uses. And so on. Using this chart, you'll be able to know how many times you can use an attack per pokémon--

Amount of PP it has	Amount of uses in battle
5 10 - 20 25 - 40 45+	5 10 15 20

That said, we can start this battle now. Since Emerald was the first to join in, he gets to choose whether or not he chooses his first pokémon first or attacks first.

Round ONE
After a lot of planning and a lot of dicking around on the moderator's part, we are finally ready to begin this strange battle between two veterans of the ASB stage. Emerald, newer than his rival, summons his first pokémon -- a precocious little larvitar named Godzilla. Ayeun, pulling absolutely no punches, responds by summoning a massive ghost, appropriately named Spook. The two fighters acknowledge one another before getting into their stances.

Despite being more experienced in the battlefield, Spook is barely faster than her opponent. Using this to an advantage, Spook uses her solitary eye to lull Godzilla into a confused state. Not knowing how to respond, Godzilla mixes up his trainer's commands and leaps at the large ghost pokémon, snapping down with a wild crunch! Spook howls a ghostly howl as the larvitar snaps his fangs into her ethereal frame. That was a mistake...
Confused, 8PP Crunch // -1 Def, -12HP, 9PP Confuse Ray

Cursing her trainer for such a command, Spook gets back to work and swiftly gives Godzilla a very nasty ice punch! The shivering cold fist knocks Godzilla onto his back quite easily, making him confused no more. Wonderful! Remembering his orders, Godzilla throws himself at the dusknoir once more, giving her another nasty crunch! Spook is already hating this little asshole.

Round three. Since the first punch was so effective, Spook decides to let the little runt have another! The larvitar is punched off the ghost pokémon, dealing a solid blow. Larvitar slides on the ground for a few seconds before coming to a halt. The runt shrugs it off nicely before summoning a volley of rocks to topple down upon Spook, dealing quick damage.

After the embaressing first round, Spook decides to end this little one with an all-out offensive! She winds her fist back and throws it forward, knocking the larvitar to the ground while raising her attack power. Godzilla shrugs it off quickly before leaping back and chomping down once again! Yeowch!

Deciding that enough is enough with the weaker punches, Spook disappears from the battlefield entirely before reappearing behind Godzilla, giving the small beast quite the whallop! Godzilla *again* tumbles on the floor before retaliating with something different lolnope!, another crunch.

Spook decides to lay it on a little thick, throwing another icey fist into the tiny larvitar. Godzilla is struck yet again, and hits the ground. He pulls himself back together and summons another volley of rocks to topple over Spook.

Spook shrugs off the hits and retaliates with another frosty ice punch. Godzilla struggles with the ice, but quickly pulls himself together to launch another... nothing attack? He can't crunch!

Spook has her opponent on the ropes! All she has to do now is bash that rock lizard with icy fist and she will be victorious! She takes aim and throws her fist forward, only to connect with Godzilla's hasty protection spell. Talk about awkward.

The barrier falls, giving Spook another opening for attack. With the blunt of her energy, she charges at the larvitar once more and tackles hard! Dealing just enough damage to leave Godzilla on the floor, still conscious. Uh oh...

Godzilla takes aim as Spook attempts to regain her lost energy. In half a moment, a series of rocks strike Spook harshly whilst a pulse of dark energy is not far behind. The power of both attacks is enough to fell the ghost pokémon.

With Spook being the first casualty of the battle, Ayeun is forced to choose her next pokémon. The grass gym leader chooses someone more Godzilla's speed -- a feisty lookin' froakie without a name of her own. Godzilla wastes no time and prepares a swan song so devastating that it can't be beat. Except it did. By Froakie's protect. Welp.

With Godzilla exhausting his moves this round, Froakie is burdened with glorious free time. She hops over to her rocky opponent, bapping him in the head with her froggy fist. Knocking him out quite easily!
