Open Battle! Perfect Chaos vs. nepence (Ref: DL)

Yeah, I just realized I have like 0 activity on here outside of my one battle against Ash. Need to change that.

Anyone who wants to accept my challenge can go ahead and make the rules (how many Pokemon, banned moves, arena, DQ time, etc.)

I will send out first once the rules are set and opponent can send out second and attack first.

I'll take you up. I've got two battles, but one of them is kinda inactive...

2v2. Gentlemen's Agreement on banned moves (If you think it's broken, don't use it. If the opponent uses it, it's fair game.) DQ time is a week.

Arena will be a frozen lake. Some moves may cause the ice to crack, in which case, the ref's ice pokemon will refreeze it after 5 actions. If you are under the water at that point, you'll need to make your way out by breaking the ice again. (Examples of moves that could crack the ice include fighting moves used to do so, or fire moves in general.)

Alright Mateus, we can't take our opponent lightly, he's one of the top guys in the league. Start off by making Vegeta flinch with a quick strike and then avoid the leg sweep with a strike from the shadows and counter that fiery punch to put a good dent on him.

Of course you choose a damned ice lake. Who the hell fights on Lake Minnetoba in the dead of February? Ugh. Omg and it's cold.

Oh you hush Kenzie.You damn Weaviles love this cold shit. Anyway. We got an ice match between two longstanding battlers. You know what, I probably only reffed for PC like 4 times. Let's get the stick out my butt and make this good.

Mateus, a small Sneasel, skates around on the ice already, its claws leaving pretty deep trail marks as he watches Vegeta. The simian dashes onto the ice and makes a toboggan beeline for Mateus's feet. The lithe fighter jumps at the last second and scratches Vegeta across the back-leaving the simian wondering just how high could the Sneasel leap? Vegeta stopped a few feet away, and rose up slowly...

This ice was going to make things tricky.

Skating toward the simian, Mateus knew these needed to be quick strikes. His breed always had a way of bringing out the nasty in challengers. Vegeta was no different. Before the monkey could even connect with its second move, Mateus changed direction on the ice and struck from the right side, leaving Vegeta to slip and fall once more on the ice. Vegeta was not having a good setup round after all..

Smirking, Mateus let his guard down and sashay'ed over to the Ambipom, who was having trouble standing. Standing was not an issue though, it was a lure for the Sneasel to let his guard down. One of those twin tails rose up in a comet of fiery rage and connected with Mateus's crossed arms. Twisting as the fiery strike swept in, Mateus fell backwards, leading the Fire Punch to slam onto Ambipoms back. Vegeta screamed in pain at his own punch being used against him and whipped his tail out of Mateus grasp, slamming it into the ice.

Fire and ice don't mix, and we now have our first weak ice spot.

Awesome start to the round Mateus. Let's make the climate a little more chilly for Vegeta by first summoning a hailstorm, then blanket him with a large wave of ice and snow and finish off the round by messing with his mind with some dark thoughts

Vegeta was perturbed at how fast the match turned away from him. He was determined to get it back on his side. As Mateus skated around and called the ever loving cold to keep on coming, Vegata smirked. He clapped his fat palmtails together and soon those hail droplets began to fall in a more, bulbous fashion. They splattered instead of shattered. Mat looked around at his ice, now turning to liquid. Eyes turned to the simian. This HAD to be his doing...

Trajectory shifted and Mateus beelined for Vegeta. Behind him was a welling of winter, a spring of superchilled air hell bent on freezing Vegeta in place. Vegeta stood his ground and stretched out his arms right when Mateus got close. Mateus' feet flew in the air, his body having been clotheslined by the opponent. The chill of the Blizzard rang past them both, and left Vegeta more than chilled. The added chill made it easy for Vegeta to fall over and slam Mateus into the ice, cracking it visibly in a new place.

Mateus tried to sit up, but his head was ringing. He stayed down for a moment, as Vegeta stood over him, gloating. Realizing that space would be his friend, Mateus fired off a Dark Pulse from his hands, throwing Vegata over to the right. Landing on his tails (barely), Vegata bounced to his feet and chased after the sliding Sneasel, grabbing his left foot and lifted him up off the ice, before slamming him into it for Revenge.

As the battle has slid on from the original broken ice, my Kenzie skates on the ice to refreeze it. As this occurs, Vegeta launches an all-out attack on the tired Mateus. But Mateus has other plans. Before it gets too heavy for him to bear, a surge of light wipes him completley off the map. Vegeta flies through Mateus's form and slams his face on the ice once more. This match was seriously not going his way. The light returned, and Vegeta rolled over to witness a new form floaing there, that unchesthed itself and caught its own scabbard. Everyone, welcome Muramasa to the battle.

That swap changed everything. Try as he might, there was nothing that Vegeta could do against this phantom. Revenge blow? Pfft no, it was trying to lift the Sword in the Stone when you weren't the chosen one. Vegeta got nowhere. Mura though readily swung itself once, and left Vegeta wheezing for breath!

Nope. No kicking here, especially when another one of those sword slices left him crawling back to get some space between him an that blasted sword! It was like it cut his SOUL!

Vegeta smirked, seeing a way to turn the battle momentum into his favor suddenly. Or did he? As Muramasa floated over, blade drawn, the simian immediately began to scratch his claws on the ground, splitting away all the bumps and knicks that plagued them. Muramasa watched this, and noted that he wasn't attacking. A flash of silver, and Vegeta fell backwards, defeated.
