Hey Hipokrit. Bout time you signed up, so let's get a battle on.

1v1, coz that attracts refs.

If you wanna ban any moves, ask. But I suspect no moves banned.

Arena will just be the Indigo Plateau, coz default is good for newbies.

I'll start off by sending out Bystander, my female Misdreavus with Levitate.

And DQ period of a week.

I'm going to send in Craumert (Numel, female with simple)

First off im going to use Flame Charge, secondly use a Will-O-Wisp, then going to go ahead and use Flame charge again.

If I'm forgetting anything please do let me know as I am new to this.

Ohh Nepence fancies himself a Bobby Fisher skill level trainer. He now has another battle in this League. We have him on the screen here, and we have a relative newcomer to our illustrious ASB-a young trainer by the name Hipokrit. Wasting no time, out appears a femme Numel-flames spouting around her as she shakes her head to enjoy the cooling breeze. From the far edge of the stadium floats in her opponent, a specter with a appropriate name, Bystander.

Both Pokemon receive their orders and rush into battle. Ok I won't say rush. Well I guess for a stocky camel, that would be considered fast. She engulfed her hump in fire and charged at Bystander, catching the ghost off guard. Bystander flew up, and slung some harsh words about how those humps not bringing any boys to the yard.

OH AND WHAT AN INEFFECTIVE ROUND THIS IS. Not cause of Crumpert, no, she was stuck just due to the Taunt that struck her for now...but I'm referring to my OWNER OF BYSTANDER >O GET IT TOGETHER!

No matter. She just darted in for another charge. This one was much faster than the first. Even as she ran through some sort of spiritual machination- Craumert gave that phantom what for, causing the Misdreavus to do what she does best-wail in anguish.

Well Craumert is looking pretty angry after that taunt was thrown out and is ready to start some fires. As such she's going to start with double Flamethrower finishing with a final Flame Charge.

Still mighty ticked off by this ghost and her incessant annoyances, Craumert just unleashes the dragon. Seriously. A pretty potent pot of fire blows from its mouth, and laces the phantom quite heavily. She wails in annoyance, but this time fires off the confuse ray in the air. Craumert watches as the lights twinkle and shift-and end up dispersing into a myriad of colors and trails. Yeah, he done got himself confused.

Yeah. Confused Crau....that is an annoying name. Pert. Yep, it's getting called pert. Pert just begins wasting its flame prowess, just lighting everything around it on fire. Everything except Bystander. Which is funny because it sounds like Pert is not hurting any innocent Bystanders, but Bystander is not innocent, its actually the CRIMINAL! Bystander now tries a DIFFERENT stat ailment...and manages to air drop a healthy helping of noxious mass over the hot mess that is Pert.

HAHAHA Pert literally just ran into a wall. Goo charge there buddy. That almost seems mean, laving at Pert. But he's fat so its funny.

Anyway, Bystander NOW tries to cast a Hex on Pert, and it works wonders. The camel seems to realize that something is off now, and looks up and around as it gets to its feet.

I use the classic make sounds until you create a name method for naming pokemon, so I can imagine other people just providing nicknames out of annoyance. Thank you ProJared you have taught me well.

Anyway while Craumert runs around angry, confused and on fire I'm going to say she is just going to do some more burning. Lets go with;

For subs use Protect instead of Growth if taunt is used.

No, the mighty mighty camel is still stumbling about itself at a lively gait. Bystander watches with a sneer as the camel seems unable to control its own emotions...but that does'nt stop it from letting loose a significant last of fire that actually strikes her! She reels back, angered that she was hit by chance!

The half screech seemed to knock some sense in Pert's ears and he whirled around. No good for Bystander. as this camel was damned near on equal footing with her. He charged forth and spew another storm of flames, right through another set of visible incantations set forth by the floating phantasm. Both Pokemon seemed to be sore at the other's motives, but Bystander's were substantially more noticeable.

Again, Bystander wanted these Hex's to work, but now there was no need for the camel to be all worked up. Mert-because OMFG there's no P in Craumert!- took a deep breath and whoosaa'd all the negative away. In fact, those series of lights that blasted from the sky right over Bystander, they were good to fcus on, even if they did leave him feeling a little..Oh christ here we go again.

Alright, the lack of subs here lets me try things out. So on the basis that I actually get it, lets try and phase out confuse ray with Amnesia , then if it worked Stockpile x 2, if not Amnesia on turn 2 to prevent the shadow ballings. Woot for in-game disable equivalents!

Also Nepence, I had a quick look just to make sure you didn't have any water type moves prior to sending out Craumert to avoid losing in spectacular fashion. Anyway as it stands...

Mert somehow loves to stay confused. Even after all this time, it's still just derping around! Taking this as a blessing, Bystander chucks a heck of Shadowball its way, and connects with Mert. Mert reels back from the strike-and shakes its head, upset over that blast. That one was a doozy.

She shakes her head again, and Bystander suddenly shakes her head as well. Once more for the both of them, and then Bystander feels troubled. Uh oh...

Bystander knew what was going on and tried to ignore it, but it all came true in one impactful moment.

The friggin camel stopped her shadowballs!

As she came to grips with this revelation, she also bore witness to a second revelation.

Bu it's ok. The confusion seemed to wear off long enough for Mert to actually complete a task. That being swallow said grass it was eating...and save some for later.

Unphased by the recent turn of events, nepence doles out a peculiar set of orders to Bystander. She oblidges, and begins to talk about Craumert's flat hump. Craumert looks over, seemingly unaffected. That's because the doltfaced beast raised a barrier to drown out the haters.

Still miffed, Bystander starts talking about how that hump was surgically modified, because only last week it was a size A, and now its a size C. Them humps don't grow that fast. But still, by the graces of Arceus, that shield stands. Haters can't touch this camel.

But this was getting to be a draining exercise, and surely no more hate was being tossed his way right? The shield fell, and OH NOPE. NOT IN THE SLIGHTEST! PHANTOM TALKING TRASH ABOUT HIS HIS BLOWHOLE GOT MODIFIED? OH ITS ON!

Fuego messina! The camel lit up like a pack of smokes and beelined it for her. She had no moment of clarity to dodge. One hit, and she was down, covered in flames.

Back in this battle, Craumert has had enough of being limited. He's just going to explode all over the field. No more hot mess whispers. That phantom has never SEEN so much brimstone and lava come spewing forth from all over the earth. She was in a ring of fire all her own! In the midst of her flambe, BYstander tried to shoot off a Toxic, but it was burned up by all the Plumage going on!

Did I mention that this was a huge tectonic event. The field was just covered in lava right now, and Bystander was trying to fly out of it, but each time she'd get up, another wave would come crashing down, or another plume would erupt under her. It was a huge mess all around. She managed however, to ride a plume uyp and cast not one, but a duo of Hexes that found their mark on the enraged camel. Her cue to knowing they were successful? The interim of no LAVA coming to decimate what spectral influence she had on the battle!
