Well... today is the 1 year anniversary of the shutdown, at least here in Ohio... it has been an interesting year, to say the least... case numbers have been down quite a bit the last month or so... which is kinda surprising considering a lot of the restrictions have been lifted here, with the exception of wearing masks, but there still hasn't been a spike in cases so far. The interesting thing is... it doesn't really feel weird anymore, but yet it still does... there really isn't that eerie end of the world vibe anymore, but it still feels different. People are much more ill-tempered now...the goodwill from last year has long evaporated and people have been much more prone to complaining and pushing the limits of rules in effect... its weird, it feels like there is potentially light at the end of the tunnel, but it doesn't really feel like cause for celebration... a lot of people have been lost, and this pandemic has definitely exposed the more unpleasant aspects of humanity IMO.
