2) A gateway. But the year after we brought it, they decided to shut up store in Australia. Bastards. But they kept their warrenty promise.

6) I've got around 2 GB left. Whenever it gets lower than that I go on a deleting spree. And yet my sister doesn't understand the concept of not replicating all the MP3s into the sims files so she can listen to real music. It takes up double the space -_-;

My dad used to work part-time at a used computer store so he would go and buy different parts for dirt cheap (my monitor was $5 and it's pretty good) and he just bought what he couldn't get used from CompUsa or wherever.. and built my machine. And it's great too, it's tons better than some computers that I've seen people pay 1000$ dollars for...

I think it's a hobby of his actually, he's built like 9 machines to date O_o; lol.

I own a eMachine PC @_@ Worthless POS. It came with Windows ME(*shudder*) and 32MB RAM, but I upgraded to Windows XP and 256MB RAM... Still has the 600Mhz P3 and the 9.5GB of space, 8 or so of which I've used...

(Oh, and to all the people complaining about "real" hard drive sizes: The only reason it appears smaller is because Windows/Macs use the value of one byte to be 1000 bits, rather than the true value of 1024... So it hasn't actually disappeared, it's just that most OSes don't calculate your hard drive size correctly. Solution: use DOS. )

Random Access Memory. Standard at the moment is around 512 MB. Easy way to check is to go to help in solitaire and it'll say: Physical memory available to windows: ____kb. Don't know if XP has solitaire though...
