Why would you want to delete moves?

Your pokémon can just act like that it doesn't know the move. No one's forcing you to use it.

and it wont work very well with leer/tail whip/etc...

They help lower defense, and if you Rest / Sleep Talk again and pull of a physical move that could be quite devastating.

Everything can't go your own way, unfortunately. As far as I know when a pokemon learns a move here it can't be removed at all. Sleep Talk is all about risk, like Metronome, but it's more limited. You'll probably just have to live with that for now.

AS I'VE SAID, you're attempting to make an overpowered Metronome exclusive to your own pokemon's moveset. I'm sorry, but in-game, that would be possible since you're limited to only three other moves. But in this case, you're going to be removing all of your weak moves to make something that's known as 'cheap'. Everyone would be having Rest / Sleep Talk combinations at AC/CC like no tomorrow. And guess what's going to happen?

You move.
Pokemon gets damaged.
Rest.
Sleep Talk.
Pokemon gets damaged.
Sleep Talk again.
Pokemon gets damaged.
Wake up.
Rest.
Sleep Talk.

Etc.

And just you know, I doubt anyone would play in a biased battle so it won't end in two moves maximum. It would prolong the battle for ages and ages and ages, not to mention be quite boring. If it does end unless you're lucky to get a few critical hits and/or inflict some statuses on your opponent.

There are many other reasons why I'm against these, but I'll leave it there. I don't think your idea is going to be approved.

I also agree that the deleting moves probably wouldn't work and isn't a good idea. Anyway, those moves i've learned from experience can be helpful. *shrugs*

Move deleting may not work for the reasons Jay mentioned. Maybe if you can only delete one or two moves for a price, but then again, most low level Pokes don't have that many moves to start out with. Anyways, there are many other Rest combos, Toxic/Rest being one of the more effective.
