All of the following are going to be on a team in the future. Right now, I am using a traded team to beat the gameas quickly as possible so that I can train everything in specific places for EV training. . .

    Salamence
    Personality: lonely (+ATK, -DEF)
    EV's: 252 ATK, 252 SpATK, 6 Speed
    Dragon Claw
    Aerial Ace
    Flamethrower
    Double Edge

    Absol
    Personality: Adamant (+ATK, -SpAtk)
    EV's: 252 ATK, 252 Speed, 6 HP
    Return
    Shadow Ball
    Iron Tail
    Swords Dance

    Blaziken
    Personality: Naughty (+ATK, -SpDEF)
    EV's: 252 ATK, 252 Speed, 6 HP
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
    Sky Uppercut
    Overheat

    Sceptile
    Personality: Modest (+SpATK, -ATK)
    EV's: 252 SpATK, 252 Speed, 6 HP
    Dragon Claw
    Crunch
    Leaf Blade
    Detect

    Manectric
    Personality: Modest (+SpATK, -ATK)
    EV's: 252 SpATK, 252 Speed, 6 HP
    Crunch
    Thunderbolt
    Thunder Wave
    Roar

    Tentacruel
    Personality: Mild (+SpATK, -DEF)
    EV's: 252 SpATK, 252 SpDEF, 6 HP
    Ice Beam
    Sludge Bomb
    Surf
    Giga Drain

The only one I am willing to take off of my team is the Tentacruel, and before you even think about suggesting it, I am not going to put a tank in the thing, nor am I going to use Ludicolo.

Salamence: I like him as a combination physical and special attacker, and I don't like the accuracy of Fire Blast or Hydro Pump

Absol: Iron Tail is there b/c Aerial Ace is on Salamence, but if I can find another physical for Salamence, then I will use Ace on Absol

Blaziken: I like my SpATK where it is and I like Sky Uppercut and Overheat more than the others.

Sceptile: Detect does the same thing as protect. . . it is for fliers (dragons)

Tentacruel: I don't know the point of Barrier. . . if I was going to use a defensive move on him, then I would use reflect. . . and Mirror Coat won't do much with EV's on SpDEF. . .

I'm helping you with some Standard Movesets that are used a lot and really work in battle. Moves like Iron Tail, Sky Uppercut, and Overheat are just very bad in battles. Fire Blast is better than Overheat because it doesn't lower your Special Attack and it doesn't always miss.

Andy, I didn't know you were still around! Nice to see you back.

I just wanted to say; yes overheat, etc. may not be the best moves, but they be used actually quite well on the right pokeys with the right items. Sky Uppercut is becoming much more popular on Blaziken, especially with his weakness to fliers. And, if you give him White Herb, Overheat is fine. But you only keep you sp attack one extra turn, so be wary. Iron Tail, I can see that being removed. But for pokeys like Sceptile, it helps counter his ice weakness. But If I were you Soul, I'd go for special salamence and go with AA on Absol. It counters his fighting weakness, while Iron Tail does not. I say this because you shouldn't split EVs/stats especially on Salamence. If you want attack, drop D-Claw for D-Dance.

Salamence-Put Crunch over Flamethrower. Blaziken's there to spit up fire
Absol-I have one on my team, go with Slash, Swords Dance, Bite and Shadow Ball
Blaziken-Go with Sky uppercut, Flamethower, Bulk Up and Earthquake
Sceptile-Replace it with Cradily to put out some of its weaknesses, since Grass Pok'emon have many of it. If you don't want to give Sceptile up, use Leaf Blade, Dragon Claw, Crunch and Agility
    Manectric-Good Set
Tentacruel-Not too good, maybe a Swampert or Gyarados to replace it. Swampert-Surf, Ice Beam, Endeavor, Earthquake. Gyarados-Surf, Ice Beam, Rain Dance, Aerial Ace
