You can adopt any of the pokemon from the list. You can take up to 2 pokemon a day, and they can't be from the same section. Remember you can have up to 15 adopted pokemon, so choose carefully.
For further information, refer to the FAQ.

You must pay 5 Stamps,if you want to abandon your pokemon.You can abandon a pokemon to adopt another pokemon,but you still have to pay 5 Stamps.

Also, aside from the 5 stamps, we'll need your Sandshrew's info (his level and the moves he knows). When did you adopt him, anyway? And what will you do?

May I please adopt the Spoink and Electrike? They will be my first two pokemon. If I am given them, I shall call the Spoink Schwein and breed on Substitute; the Electrike shall be Donnerhund and have Crunch bred on. Thank you.

how do you go about obtaining stamps

You can earn stamps for writing good battles/stories/scenarios at the Battle Range, posting at the Goldenrod Tower, helping others, playing Buena's Radio Show or at some events that pop up every now and then like tournaments or the lottery (or rarely at Expedia).

There are quite a few ways you can get Stamps:

1. At Goldenrod Tower

2. At Expedia: The Maiden Islands (but I believe they are rare)

3. At Buena's Radio Show (if you answer the question you aksed for there correctly)

4. For writing good, descriptive stories at the Dragon Tamers Battle Range

5. For helping someone at some of the AC topics (e.g. the adoption centers)

Anyway, for the Mr. Mime... We could say she's a Ms. Mime or something. Some pokemon names don't make sense for females. (I remember someone asking if female Goldeen changed genders when they evolved).

Thanks for the Pichu, I'll call him Ryo-Ohki, his bred on move will be Mega Kick (don't ask me what kind of father he had, all I know is it's a valid RBY TM for the Pikachu family and hence fair game!) and he now earns the unique distinction of having been on every team relating to Pokémon I've ever had to deal with. I think I'll prolly have him trained to L100 in Ruby before he gets there in the battle range, tho.
