Aegislash

Aegislash is the evolved form of Doublade, bearing a shield in addition to its blade. Its Ability, Stance Change, debuts in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y and is exclusive to Aegislash.

King’s Shield is a new move that only Aegislash can learn. It prevents the user from being damaged by attacks that turn.

If the opposing Pokémon uses a move that makes direct contact, its Attack will be lowered.

If you choose this move while Aegislash is in Blade Forme, it will change to Shield Forme just before the move is triggered.

If you choose an attack move while Aegislash is in Shield Forme, it will change to its Blade Forme just before the move is triggered.

Aegislash will shift between its Shield Forme and Blade Forme based on the actions it takes.

When it’s in Shield Forme, its Defense and Sp. Def stats are raised; when it’s in Blade Forme, its Attack and Sp. Atk stats are raised.
