The official Japanese Pokemon movie website has updated revealing the new characters that will be featured in the upcoming Pokemon X and Y movie: Pokemon: Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction.

A new Japanese trailer has been released for the next Pokemon XY movie, Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction. Mega Absol and Mega Scizor make an appearance in the beginning. We also see Yveltal awaken and then Xerneas jumping in to face off against Yveltal. Finally, the camera zooms in on Diancie sitting with its eyes closed atop a massive gem until it finally opens its eyes at the end.

New Diancie And The Cocoon of Destruction Trailer:
More scans have leaked for the next issue of Coro Coro Magazine. This time it reveals that #719 Diancie has the ability Clear Body, learns Hyper Beam and Explosion, and the tag line for the new Pokemon X and Y movie, “Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie” translates to “A grand adventure with the princess of the Diamond Mine Country.”
There also is a special Mega Charizard promotion happening in next month’s issue. Similarly like the Mega Garchomp promotion they ran a few months back, each issue will have a unique serial code that will allow you to receive a Charizard with a Charizardite stone opposite of your game’s version. February’s issue of Coro Coro Comics Magazine has leaked and with it have more details on the upcoming Pokémon XY Movie Pocket Monster XY: Hakai no Mayu (Pokémon XY: Cocoon of Destruction) and Short Pikachu, Kore Nanno Kagi? (Pikachu, What’s This Key For?) which are scheduled to release July 19th in Japan.

Coro Coro Comics magazine says that the movie will focus on a “magnificent battle” between Yveltal and Xerneas, and notes that the movie’s title, “Cocoon of Destruction,” is a reference to Yveltal. The magazine also explains that the movie will feature many mythical and legendary Pokémon.
Coro Coro Comics also reveals that Poké Fans in Japan will be able to vote for the free gift that will be included with advanced movie ticket purchases by choosing from one of the four Pokémon that will be featured in the movie’s accompanying Pikachu, Kore Nanno Kagi? (Pikachu, What’s This Key For?) anime short: Jirachi, Victini, Manaphy, and Darkrai.
