Nintendo has announced that Pokemon X and Y will hit 3DS, worldwide, on October 12, 2013.

The games include a new Fairy Pokemon type that is super effective against Dragon types. Older Pokemon like Jigglypuff, Gardevoir and Marill will be given the new Fairy type status.
