    Wtf would they change how the entire attack works for? -_- Bah.

    Oh, and wait--Absol are faster than Mothim, so why didn't Fatal at least get her first attack in before being Flash'd?

    Fatal didn't know what Kaze was going to do to her. You threw a bunch of commands at Fatal, she now had to wait and see what the heck was going to come out from the Mothim before she attacked.

    To explain. What if Mothim used Protect for its first action. Would Absol have used Flamethrower or Calm Mind first? By your description, it would have had to use CM. Now yeah, Fatal could have used that for its second action -but that wouldn't make any sense. No way I could have her Flamethrower, and then Mothim use Protect, totally disobeying your order line-up since you threw up counters to Mothim's speculated offense without realizing your Pokemon will not have to act based on the other Pokemon (hence moving slower)

    Besides, you shoot a blast of light at someone, no matter how fast you are, its gonna hit you first. But if I'm still missing something, lemme know man. Love the fact yer throwing this at me . Makes me better ya know !

    Gaaaah, I keep forgetting about this place. Dx

    Anyhow, hrmn. Okay, right, wait for the Mothim to start its' Bug Buzz and Faint Attack away--and onto the bug. Don't get off, just stay on him and dig your impressively large claws into his wings, and release a torrent of Flamethrowers from up-close. He should be big enough for you to be comfortable catching him, but definitely not big enough to fly while carrying your weight.

    ===Rules===

    DQ: One week
    Damage Caps: 30%
    Banned Moves: Attract, Direct Healing Moves (i.e. Recover, Milk Drink, etc.; Giga Drain and Drain Punch do not count), Weather moves, OHKOS.
    Arena: Crescent Island

    'This island is in the middle of nowhere. It's nighttime during the battle that is to be staged here. The island is shaped like a croussant (hence the name "Crescent") and its bay is pure and still. We'll have the battle right by the shores of the bay, and to the other curved end of the island is a dense forest. At the edge of the forest is a single huge rauflessia (sp?), larger than any ever known to man, although the beach is so wide that the flower is such a long distance away. The bay is only big enough for a Wailord, nothing more. So all you Wailord owners better send them out into the sea at the side.

    The full moon shines brightly overhead, and the sand on the beach is soft and white. The island is rather peaceful, other than the occasional rustle behind the overgrown brush. The occasional Golbat or Murkrow may fly by at any time. Dark- and Water-types get a 3% power boost. I heard that Espeon and Umbreon are powered up when they come to battle on this island, as well. Earthquake won't work, as the sand is too soft. Any Pokemon using Dig is a bit speedier for the time it's underground. The air around the island is crisp and clean, just perfect for a flying type to stay aloft. Mud-slap and such attacks will cause the offeding Pokemon to hurl wet sand, not mud. Sand-Attack will make the opponent lose double the accuracy as it normally would. Sandstorm lasts for twice as long because of the infinite amount of sand on the island.'

    ===Round 9===

    (oh how I wish I could put sound clips into these posts!)

    Fatal quietly listened to the words from the wind. After receiving that last attack, she new exactly what to feel for, and possibly what direction to go. Kaze waited until she stepped a little over to the right, before making his move, silently moving his feelers fast enough to create a second Bug Buzz.

    The attack struck Fatal, and she hissed in anguish, but suddenly, she was gone. The rest of the attack flew past harmlessly, and Kaze raised his head in a perplexed manner. Turning his head only, ..there was nothing to his ri-OW!

    Fatal reappeared behind Kaze's location, and swiftly swiped the ground with both front paws. The right paw raked that Mothim up enough for her to slam her foot back down on his back. What an attack!

    Fatal: -6E/-6H==///== Kaze: -6E/-7H

    Fatal, free of the blindness that plagued her now, began to fight up close with the wriggling bug, whom tried to bat its wings hard enough for the Air to encircle around her. It worked, as Fatal seemed to be in pain from the Slashes. Fatal though, sneered as the Moth now created large holes in its wings from trying to bat them around while having her claws pinned in them. No remorse for Kaze, as Fatale breathed a torrent of Flame directly at Kaze's upper back and head. Mothim cried in agony, as the close range flames burned him severely, as well as create sharp points of glass which felt none too comfortable to lie on.

    Fatal: -8E/-8H ==///== Kaze: -5E/-11H

    Burned and in livid pain from his wings being shredded, Kaze hurt to move. He needed a minute, but he wouldn't get it, as a second torrent of Flames came raining down upon him. He wriggled intensely through these flames, and managed to get absolutely nowhere.

    Pretty pissed, Kaze prayed that the energy he was coalescing would aid him in this battle. Orbitals grew in size, until they were large enough to fly off on their own, and strike Fatale from all sides sending her back a ways. She rolled to her feet though, seemingly none the worse for wear...

    Fatal: -8E/-6H ==///== Kaze: -5E/-11H

    But that burn was something nasty right now. Not to mention the ragged pieces of flesh and membrane he called wings that hung from his back.

    I did ask Fatal to dig her claws into Kaze's wings... That should, technically, stop the moth from escaping, plus slash up the wings rather badly. Just based on the size of an absol's claw, and how thin moth wings generally are.

    Still wondering why Kaze managed to pull off an Air Slash, but whatev.

    Fatal, Kaze shouldn't be able to fly now, or very well anyhow, so this should be significantly easier.
    As before, if Kaze uses Double Team, Aerial Ace. If he protect/detects, Calm Mind. If he uses a status-inducing move (toxic, thunder wave, etc.), Magic Coat. If he attempts to go out of range so you can't hit him (not just Double Team), Taunt him. And if he uses Flash, close your eyes, look away, cover your eyes with your arm; these should all work in preventing blindness while still allowing you to attack.
    Otherwise, Flamethrower till you hit Damage Caps, then chill.

    Aerial Ace / Calm Mind / Magic Coat / Taunt / Flamethrower / Chill x3

    OK Kaz, launch yourself into the air with Silver Wind. Try to hit Fatality with it while your at it if you can. Then try to land on Fatal's back and hold on as tight as you can while you hit her with a pair of Giga Drains. Hopefully all of that energy will heal your wings some.

    o.O I tend to think of Air Slash as more of a blast, rather than a true Winged Attack . hence Kaze could stand on his head and shoot it from his butt if he really wanted. It just usually seems to come from the wings, but maybe I'm wrong for thinking it like that.

    ===Round 10===

    Momentarily wingless, Kaze stood on his hind legs, and waddled over toward Fatal. His mouth began to glow, signifying he wasn't done yet. Fatal however, didn't care for his confident look and Threw a ever broiling stream of Flame at him. Kaze hopped, toward the fire, and spun in the air, creating a force of Wind. Minute pieces of his wings flew off with the wind, as it sailed, and Kaze was lifted slowly, and thrown toward Fatal.

    Fatal just aimed up, and Kaze truly didn't have a way to evade. The fire still baked his body, but the Wind did throw him considerably near to Fatal. Fatal stopped her attack due to the stinging lapse of bug-energized Wind hitting her coat.

    Fatal: -8E/-9H==///== Kaze: -6E/-13H

    The burn was excruciating now, but Kaze never seemed to give in. He knew flames were coming in his direction, but the little guy persevered. As Fatal shot a second stream of fire, an open mouthed Kaze lunged for Fatal's legs. Fatal hopped gingerly to the side, but Kaze was running on scuttle scared fury. The flames fanned back and forth, Kaze's erratic motion making it a bit harder to it. However, a weird aura fell around Fatal-leaving her with less health than before.

    Fatal: -8E/-7H ==///== Kaze: -8E/-9H(+4H)

    Fatal tried again, this time jumping back a ways. Kaze fell for it and lunged again, but this time was put under the full heat of flame, and lied there until it was over. When the flames subsided, a green aura immediately shot out from Kaze, Draining Fatal of any energy she had, and it was thrown to Kaze. Fatal didn't mind much, the bug seemed to working in desperation now.

    Fatal: -8E/-7H ==///== Kaze: -8E/-13H(+4H)

    But that burn was something nasty still. His wings still didn't look any better either.

    ===Round 11===

    Things look bad for Kaze right now, as he flutters around in a circle, wings mangled by the torrential downpour of fire from Fatal. Fatal dosen't carry any sentiment over, and continues her assault on the hapless flier.

    Spotting his opponent nearing, Kaze turns to face judgment, concentrating his energy into his two top feelers. Before the Buzzing sound could commence-a sharp Flash of Light once again destroys my retinas... and Kaze's, all 96000 of them. Kaze freaks, and turns to the side, his Bug Buzz totally missing Fatal.

    Fatal: -3E==///== Kaze: -6E -1 Acc

    Unreal! How did he fall for that! Looking left and right, Kaze saw nothing. He didn't care though and shot another stream of verberations through his feelers, hoping the radial extension would strike Fatal.

    Unfortunately, all Kaze got in reply was a body engulfed in flames-his body. Shrieks of pain could be heard from the flames

    Fatal: -8E ==///== Kaze: -6E/-13H

    SDtill blinded, Kaze whimpered in exhaustion as the flames subsided. Knowing his opponent was going to do that yet again-Energy was swiftly focused into a large Ball, and thrown to the left..surprising Fatal. A direct hit caused Fatal to show absolutely no mercy as she covered the sandy distance in only two bounds. Jaws flooded Kaze with heat and overwhelming pain.

    Fatal: -8E/-7H ==///== Kaze: -8E/-13H

    Kaze fluttered once more, but with the burn attacking his body, he fell under.
