Yeah, I really can't stand Christmas and I don't even have the excuse of working in retail. :/

It's just not worth the two months of tacky decorations and bad holiday music playing 24/7 and needless spending and TV specials you've seen a thousand times (The Muppet Christmas Carol being the one true exception) and folks going about with looks of chemically induced chipperness on their faces and repetitive commercials and terrible driving conditions (which I can't really blame on Christmas but I will anyway) and obnoxious store displays and dried-up turducken and crowded shopping mall parking lots and people deluding themselves into believing eggnog tastes good and the increasingly tired trend of ugly Christmas sweater parties and diabetes-inducing dietary habits and Facebook being like "hurr today 19 ppl made posts about Christmas; I bet you care lots right 8D" and vacuuming evergreen needles out of the carpet and uncomfortable small-talk with smelly Cousin Lou whom you don't even know/like/want to be around and privileged white people whining that immigrants and political correctness are collectively axe-murdering then pissing on the corpses of their beloved traditions and OSLO HATES CHRISTMAS CAN'T YOU TELL.
