So here are the details.

2 vs 2(1 at a time)

Banned Moves: Rest, Sub, Destiny Bond, direct recovery moves and OHKO moves. If you wish to ban anything else, feel free.

Arena: An abandon coal mine. Deep under ground, in a hidden circular shaped room. Many stalagmites and stalagtites pointing up and down. A small lake in the center.

Before I actually start work on the Reffing I'll give you some important things to remember.

1. Don't worry about doing anything wrong. We've all been in your position before so we remember what it's like to be excited/nervous about the ASB. If you do anyting wrong we'll let you know in a nice way.

2. Serebii.net has an extensive list of moves for 1, 2, 3, and 4 Generation Pokémon. Guessing from your team you're only used to the new ones and all the old ones seem new, but then again I could be wrong.

3. Also, remember not to bug everyone to post attacks and for a Ref to get a post up. We all have our own lives and Reffing matches takes time.. time I have over the summer, but still. Life gets in the way so I ask you to please be patient.

Question: What’s a Ref doing in an old coal mine? Answer: he’s a Paleontologist, Coal is fossilized plant matter… Need I say more?

Aaaand as we start the match, we have newcomer Unsolved Puzzle against seasoned River, with your wonderful Rookie Ref Mew Master presiding the fight. As the Ref takes out his rock hammer and starts whacking on the walls, the fight gets underway.

Starting up with a nice distraction, Snap Dragon starts to glow, and then splits into several copies of herself, the fanged attachment on her head snarling at the tiny Mime Jr (-6). Not about to be without his own defenses, the small Psychic Pokémon glows brightly then unleashes a massive camera flash that leaves the Mawile clones eyes spinning and the Ref temporarily blind (-3.

While the Steel Pokémon is distracted, Mime Jr. takes a probe into her mind, to copy any kind of heightened mental state that she might have (-5) and he doesn’t find anything worth copying, other than she has a slight headache. Shaking herself, Snap Dragon and her clones start to gain a sheen of metallic luster as their defenses take a sharp climb (-7).

Still blinded by the sudden flash in a dim room, Mawile starts to charge up a sphere of energy with the intention of hitting the Psychic Pokémon, however her current state of blindness only succeeds in letting her carve a groove in the mine wall (-3). Glancing into the future, Mime Jr spots something of interest and releases a blast of psychic energy into the stream of time (-8).

There’s something about mine shafts that …. Oh crud. Round 1 over!

Start of with focus punch, try to make it come up as an upercut, and aim for the bottom of Snap Dragons mouth. then use confuse ray to confuse mawile. then to get on the offence use secret power to make mawile flinch.

Walking around blindly, the Ref walks into a support beam before falling back down and Round 2 starts.

Charging up energy in his hand, Mimic rushes at Snap Dragon, hitting her hard (-6/-6), and causing the clones to dissipate. The Mawile bounces back, hits a wall and then disappears, leaving Mime Jr looking around in confusion. Then the Psychic Pokémon shouts in pain as his arms are pinned to his sides and the Mawile’s maw is seen clamping around him. With a twist and throw, Snap tosses the little guy into a very abrupt slam (-8/-9).

Gritting in pain, Mimic pushes himself back up and looks for Snap Dragon, who’s disappeared again (-7). He’s hit again, but not in an over-head piledriver, this time the Steel Pokémon just hits him with an impromptu body slam (-8). With glowing eyes, the Mime Jr retaliates by shooting out beams from his eyes, brushing past the Mawlie and making her vision go blurry (-3).

Growling in confusion, Mawlie tries to get the Psychic Pokémon’s attention, but just like the ref, walks right into a support beam (-3). Mimic starts glowing and then unleashes a beam of energy right at the confused Steel-Type, causing her to cough and appear sick (-6/-5 (Poisoned)).

The Ref’s out cold, everyone’s in a mine shaft, and I think I see spiders on the wall… End of Round 2!.

Ok Snap, let's try this, use a Sword Dance to try and get your mind focused again and un-cunfuzzled. Then use Double Team and if you know where Mimic is then use Facade if not, Faint Attack. If he tries a Taunt simply block up your hear and close your eyes. Hum if you have to. You certainly can't see the Mime with your eyes so that should help.

Ya know… I never thought I was claustrophobic… until now with the beginning of Round 3!

Closing her eyes and starting an intricate dance, Snap Dragon manages to center herself, bringing her strongest to bear as her actions bring faintly glowing swords to surround her and mimic her movements (-3 (ATK +) ). Mimic… erm… well. Mimics the Mawlie, only with a different effect (-5). Oddly enough, nothing happens.

Snap Dragon, has other plans as her body starts to glow and several copies of her spread from her position before the glowing form dissipates (-5). Confused, but determined, Mimic charges up a large amount of electricity before discharging it (-13). The lightning blasts everything in it’s path, but destroys two of the clones, revealing the Mawlie standing off to the side.

Charging up a sphere of dark energy, Mimic slaps it in Snap Dragon’s direction, which connects and causes her to shout out in pain (-6/-8). Anger flowing through her, from the poison and general annoyances, she grabs the Mime Jr and then slams him against the wall (-6/-9).

As we end the round, Snap dragon coughs a little (-2 (Poison)). Anyone else hear running water? Round 3 over!

use barrier, then if he comes around the barrier double slap, if not use meditate, then encour on whatever move was used last by snap

Alrighty Snap, use a Taunt on Mimic. Even if he gets the Barrier up, hey its transparent, he'll get the message. Then just take a break, he'll have to come out from around that barrier to hit you with the Double Slap. If the Taunt worked and if he's somehow still behind the Barrier, simply go around it and Crunch him. If it didn't, I'm not sure if Relaxing can be Encored, so let's use Faint Attack instead.

Of all the places I’d rather be… unconscious in a Mine shaft isn’t one of them. Round 4!

Dancing around, Mimic starts off his own little mime show, awe… how cute! The miming pulls off as he makes a faint wall between him and the Steel Pokémon (-4). Snap Dragon starts chuckling, laughing and saying demoralizing things about the Mime Jr’s ability to fend it off (-2).

Fumming with rage, Mimic drops the wall he was working on to rush at Snap Dragon, slapping her silly with a volley of hands (-3/-2). The Mawile just takes the hits, actually thinking the hits feel like a decent massage (+5).

Refreshed from the “massage,” Snap disappears leaving a fuming Mimic to deal with the fact that his target disappeared (-7/-12), until she re-appeared, slamming into the Psychic Pokémon. Raging, Mimic slaps her silly once more (-3/-5 (Crit)).

As this spectacle is going on, water starts to come down through the upper shafts, rain-run off from the currently brewing storm above ground.

Effects like Barrier and Light Screen only exist as long as the Pokémon take the turns to keep the effect up. Once they aren't concentrating on the barrier, then it fades.

Um, I also have a question, Taunt makes the Pokémon in question only able to use attacks that do damage to the opponent, how come he was able to use Encore?

By it's deffinition, Encore is an attack, however it doesn't induce a status effect or recover HP. Yes, I'm being literal with the Attack Dex here. I will edit Mimc's status to Taunted however to reflect this as I forgot about it <-<

You know, this wouldn’t be so bad. All the little birdies flying around my head are laughing going into Round 5.

Snap Dragon concentrates, boosting itself even more (-6 (DEF ++))! Mimic uses this to gaze into the future for a well planned strike (-8).

Bolstered and ready to go on, Mimic lunges forward with a glowing punch, smacking Snap hard in the torso, some of her health being drained from the impact (-3, +3/-6). Not going to sit back and take it, the Mawile fades away, only to attack by crushing Mimic with her jaws (-8/-9).

Using her latent psychic connection to the rocks of the shaft, Snap Dragon starts yanking rocks from the walls and floor to throw at Mimic (-12). Seeing an opportunity, Mimic tries to gain control of the rocks to throw back at Snap, with just a boost of Psychic energy (-15). The two Pokémon struggle with the rocks between them, not realizing that by yanking out the rocks, Snap Dragon made the shaft unstable! Oblivious to this, Snap and Mimic continue to wrestle for control of the rocks, while the shaft starts to shake violently, and then collapses!

(-6, -2 (Poison)/-10)

As the dust settles, the two Pokémon (and Trainers… dunno where the Ref is…) are stuck in the central chamber, a pile of rocks off to the side and half of them in the small pond.

The Ref’s MIA, as usual, so let’s end Round 5 for now.

moving on. Mimic i need your to keep your head up. start with a pyschic on the stalgmites/stalagtites and throw them at snap, then a shadow ball at snaps. and end with secret power
