Dr. Buggenfield, lead off with Thunder Wave. Follow with Shock Wave and finish with Silver Wind.

(We'll ban no moves and pick Indigo Stadium as an arena. Actually, let's go with Ever Grande Stadium as an arena. Same in every way except it's Gen III so we're all matchy-matchy.)

Hrm. Can honestly say I've never reffed a match up here in Evergrande. It's pretty nice, with the waterfall and the trekking and the, oh wait. There's Oslo, eager as ever.

And here's Emerald, who's already shouting commands. Buggenfield barely has time to react before a blitzkrieg of ice comes hurtling her way. She groans as the speedy crystals nip at her body, before one hits her square in the chest. She falls, but manages to get up and angrily wave her hands in the air. Sparks fly, and find their way over to Nano, who seems unnerved by the charge alighting its porous skin.

Nano fires off an second powerful beam, and Buggenfield tries to counter this with a powerful burst of electricity. The Shock Wave flies at a lower height than the Ice Beam, so both Pokemon go reeling.

Nano recovers, but Bug is in a predicament. A block of solid ice has formed around his head! That can't be good.

Nano smirks and laughs at his competition. No good to laugh when you aren't even sure about your next move. He learned that fast when his body seized up and he had to deal with a chilling wind, courtesy of Buggenfield. but there's no way that ice cube could last forever...

Dr. Blockhead Buggenfield is none too pleased about her predicament, and she shows it with a few half-hearted flutters of her wings. But the calm exhibited by the inhibited bug seems to work in her favor, even as she's smacked down by a fire hose pressurized stream of water. She regains composure after Nano realizes the heat seems to be rising around Ever Grande.

With the increase in heat, the ice cube around her head begins to crack and hiss. She takes the opportunity to smash her head against the ground, cracking the ice enough for her to taste the sweet sweet taste of air.

As she takes those first crucial breaths, Nano goes for another ice beam headsicle shot. It knocks Buggenfield back, but this time, the ice does not stick. as chunks begin to melt away at a hyper rate, Buggenfield raises her arms, and is cloaked in a strong light. This light flies straight up to the heavens, and then back down, hammering Nano with a brilliance and power only the Sun could provide and execute.

Instead of sticking with that Solarbeam (I would have, screw that.) Buggenfield leveled herself and shook her now free head clear of all water. She then began to create a horrendous racket, one that distracted Nano from attacking immediately with a tertiary Ice Beam. Once her attack was over though-yep you guessed it, Ice Beam to the face. But again, no freezing.

Nano decides its too hot for all this, and tries to chill up the arena. As he prances around, Claudia takes a moment and fires up a burst of light amidst the dropping temperature. The light suddenly explodes into a refractive fury against all the ice crystals that begin falling the heavens. The light show dazzles and confuses Nano, and the hail strikes them both (-1)

Tired of all the danged ice, Claudia immediatly starts to regain some control. As Nano plays with the hard cubes falling from the sky-he experiences a dip in health at the hands of her siphoning it away.

Buggenfield goes for seconds and smirks as she weakens her foe to a critical point. It's at that point that the confusion is snapped, but there's not much a crippled Mudkip can do. Buggenfield smirks, science prevailed this round. (-1)

We are in Round 5, and Emerald is releasing his second competitor. Claudia waits, even through the Hail, as a sleek skinned individual is revealed. Forked tail wags to and fro gracefully, as Yin graces us with her presence. Claudia doesn't approve of this diva one bit, and starts off by erecting a Screen so she didn't have to look at that distorted face. Yin yawns and casts a powerful spell around herself.

Orbs shoot out of the ground and rapidly cycle through all hues. They finally settle on a color and bombard the Illumise, knocking her back a step. The hit felt cool to the touch, metallic even. (-1)

Yin grinned and kept her cool as Claudia tries to dismantle her eardrums with a cacophony of eclectic sounds that would make a Kriketune squeal in excitement. But it reverberated away from the pure Psychic, and how! (-1)

Free from ending what would have been a game altering strike, The swift Espeon relished in the quiet manner this battle was proceeding, and took a deep yawn. Claudia noted the action and replied with a speedy strike to Yin's hide. Yin yelped and stepped back, shocked this turned physical. The brute! (-1)

Claudia seemed to have had enough of all these rocks hitting her. Oslo agress, and before the Espeon could lash out with its mystic spherical attack, Claudia was gone to the world. Out in her stead was a furry version of Yin as a child.

Only, it was struck by Yin's powerful hidden Power of doom! Well it's metallic doom, but whatevz (-1)

Ah. The Hail's over. Yin appreciated that, just as much as she's gonna appreciate the slew of starts Balto is making in order to, yep---counteract that Double Team. Look at that. Real fast. Clones go up, clones fall down. Yin is not liking this series of events at all.

Balto smirks and begins to well up a sphere in between its jaws. Yin does the same, only faster cause you know, she's a friggin Espeon. Them things shoot magic like booty pellets. Well, in this case, she flings it like a slingshot from her tail and it rams into Balto. Balto however, shakes it off and tosses one back LIKE A BAWS!

That sucked for her. Alot.

Balto coughs a bit, before starting to sing in its strange Eevee tongue. Eager to stop that shenanigans, Yin fires off a Psychic that trips the Eevee up and slams it on his face. Balto groans and recovers, but resumes its song, causing a bit of nauseating groans from Yin.

Yin breathes a sigh of relief. That mystic shielding protecting Balto unknowingly finally melts away. In a brazen act of power, Yin fires off a second Psychic that sends Balto tumbling backwards. But he sings summore to the same effect.

Third verse is more of the same. In fact, is that like the Eevee National anthem?

Being the evolved form and being godawful fast, Yin smirks as Balto is lifted up-tossed like a rag doll and then trusted back onto said terra. The Eevee grunts and takes a few minutes before standing back up, as Yin laughs a its supposed inferiority.

Balto sneers and grinds its paws into the soft ground, making its way back to a standing position. Head kicks back, and purple lightning shoots from its head. Yin takes a step back as wafts of energy seep into Balto, as he lowers his head back to lock eyes with Yin. They're disjointed, soulless now, before the Shadowball is released. But the bark-the sudden rip of air that is ejected with the sphere, that's the first thing Yin feels. Its power is unmistakeable, it almost shatters Yin's chest-and that pain only amplifies with the Shadowball that Yin forgot about it. The Espeon lands in a heap, utterly defeated.

Nocturne satisfied with the use of her power, dissipates, returning Balto to his standard state.

I was gonna evolve Balto into a Glaceon but now I think I'll hold off until X and Y are released in October and make him a Sylveon instead. Its design is so ridiculous I can't help myself. Nobody needs both a bow and a bowtie. Like srsly.
