BEGIN!

Arcanine gave a roar; planting his feet firmly into the soft earth he blasted a sweeping vortex of fire to whip up and around Weezing. Weezing gave a groan, struck, as he began glowing. He summoned a ferocious rainstorm; trapped in the sweeping flame he brought about water from the heavens that pelted down on the arena, dissipating his flaming confinement.

Keeping in with his orders, Arcanine blasted a flamethrower through the air, but the power was severely weakened by the ongoing rain. Smirking, OzWeez crackled, unleashing a fantastic volt of lightening from the skies. Arcanine was hit hard, roaring in pain as he buckled under the intensity of the attack.

Arcanine, pained, charged up a flame wheel but as the flames rolled around him soon the rain destroyed their life. Standing there, Arcanine watched as a thunder hailed from the sky again, striking him hard.

Okay Wheezing! Thunder - Sludge Bomb - Thunder!

But! If Arcanine takes away our watery advantage, simply turn to a Toxic to turn up the fun! then Sludge Bomb him again and finish off with a Shockwave if he tries any stupid evasive crap.

Okay Aely, no worries, just Dig down to avoid that first Thunder! Stay underground and use a Safeguard once more, and then finish off by springing out of the earth with an Extremespeed to take Weezing down!

It is raining


Weezing crackled and shook, expelling a fantastic blast of shimmering sparks. They drove themselves towards the point where Arcanine once stood, but they hit the earth. Arcanine had dug out of the way, deep underground and hiding.

Carrying on with the arsenel as planned, OzWeez fired off exploding pellets of filthy sludge, aiming at the hole. The pellets did not manage to make their way down to Arcanine, however, who was creating a safeguard at the end of his little L-Bend in the tunnel.

With a searing streak of speed Arcanine darted up from out the tunnel in a blinding flash of light; he smashed into Weezing and knocked him out the sky momentarily, the poison gas Pokemon bobbing back up and performing another thunder attack. The attack smashed into Arcanine, dealing effective damage.

It was the last round. March's contest had tested these coordinators, and both Andrew and Weasel were capable of victory. It lay on the horizon, as did the little pixelated ribbon that Chris 2.0 makes on his computer. Who would emerge victorious?

BEGIN!


Arcanine dashed across the arena with beauty and grace, mane trailing behind him. He leapt up and swung his tail around, which shimmered with metallic gleam. He struck Weezing hard, who flew back in agony. Weezing hovered back forward, crackling like a generator and summoning forth a frantic, fizzling bolt of lightening that engulfed Arcanine.

Wincing, gritting his fangs and shaking his fur, Arcanine opened his mouth and unleashed a flamethrower, but unfortunately the jet of flame was dizzled out by the torrential rain. Weezing repeated the action, sending a jet of flashes and volts that smashed into Arcanine powerfully.

Skidding back, growling and recalling his last orders, Arcanine began to concentrate, charging up energy in the back of his throat. Flames flickered in his belly as he fired off a gargantuan beam of contained flame - the rain did not hamper this attack for it was melded with pure concentrated energy, and the golden beam, alive and curling with flame, sped straight through the air towards Weezing. Weezing, however, was surrounded by a green protective shield that absorbed the fantastic attack amid the falling rain.

A timer went off - the match had ended!
