Ok then! The randomiser selected Andrew to release his Pokemon first. Darkfire is then to release with attacks.

oo; I thought I posted this... Damn computer. Anyway, yeah! ^-^ I'm sending out Faith (F Absol), and Heart (F Dragonair)

Okay, Faith. Let's start off easy. First Torment OzMime, then OzMissy. End with a Faint Attack on OzMime. Mirror Coat any attempts to give you a status ailment.

Heart, take it easy as well. Safeguard yourself, then use Water Pulse first on OzMime, then Oz Missy.

Oh well... anyway! Mr. Mime! Lets start off with a Safeguard, its not like you're going to be in any real trouble this round. Then, I want you to cut through the Water Pulse with a Solar Beam, and then, when that Absol goes to Faint attack you, put up a Barrier so it'll slam into it!

Misdreavus, deary, I want you to first Toxic that Absol, then, use a Thunderwave on him, and finish off by firing a thunderbolt againt that Water Pulse, hopefully that Dragon will come off worse for wear!

Darkfire and Andrew stood up to face off in the ASB Tournament. Each grabbing two Pokeballs, they released their Pokemon for the double battle which would determine who would progress forward. Darkfire released Faith (Absol) and Heart (Dragonair), who eagerly watched Andrew's Mr Mime and Misdreavus appear.

Faith soon started on a rather cruel note, tormenting poor Mr Mime into oblivion. The little clown was soon forced not to use attacks consecutively. Meanwhile Heart glowed a fantastic teal green as a dome of pure energy manoevured around her, helping her fight status effects.

Mr Mime soon did likewise, surrounding himself with a teal dome which would protect him, too. Meanwhile, the sneaky Misdreavus spat a glob of toxic into Faith's face. Faith gave a groan as the poison seeped under her skin. This may prove to be something of a disadvantage.

Faith then began to torment Misdreavus, who was soon under the tormented spell Faith lay out. Misdreavus swayed in somewhat confusion. Heart opened her mouth and blasted a stream of water at Mr Mime, only to see a hurtling beam of energy plough through it and smash into the dragon. The water pulse, somewhat weaker, still hit the tormented clown.

Missy blasted a web of electricity to ensnare Faith, who was now very badly paralysed. She gave a crooning whimper. Dissapearing into the darkness, she swept forward, but Mr Mime erected a barrier and caused much harm to the Absol.

Heart blasted a torrent of water through the air at Misdreavus, who sent a thunderbolt flying through it. Heart was electrocuted badly. Missy took light damage from the water pulse.

Heart, Surf one the Rain Dance it up. Aim at the Subs until they're gone. Once they're gone, use a Safeguard on Faith then a Thunder on Mr. Mime.

BEGIN!

Both Mr Mime and Misdreavus began to glow, creating very lifelike substitutes at a cost of their health. They panted slightly but were otherwise ok. The substitutes would take a lot of damage for their counterparts. Meanwhile, Faith summoned pellets of rain from the sky, causing feverish sleet to wash down on the arena. Within moments the soggy arena was covered with puddles as Heart focused her energy into a surf. But with there being no water to surf on, she simply used her powers to send the puddles into the two clones in a muddy water-style attack which dealt weak damage.

Mr Mime, perfectly healthy, raced at Faith as his fist glowed a pure white. About to slam into the disaster Pokemon, Mr Mime was surprised when a protecive shield, erected by Faith, stopped the attack straight away. Misdreavus blasted a shadow ball at Dragonair and dealt good damage, while the sinewy serpent fired another sloshy splatter of water at both Mr Mime and Misdreavus.

Mr Mime fired a psychic in beam-form at Dragonair, who winced in pain as she developed a brief headache. Misdreavus fired a beam of confusing light into Faiths eyes, who instantly began to feel somewhat...woozy. She straightened up, fighting the inner confusion and blasted a cone of electricity from her body. It smashed into Mr Mime's clone and wakened it severely. Heart sent a final wave of sloshy water smashing over the clones

Now nearing roughly halfway in this round of the Tournament, Darkfire and Andrew continued to furiously fight each other, their Pokemon already feeling some strain from the tough attacks. Faith started with a crackling rocket of thundering electricity; the skies sparked angrily as a huge crashing bolt smashed into Mr Mime's clone, destroying it completely. Mr Mime looked unhappy, as any clown would. Heart did likewise, using the rain to aid her accuracy as a bolt of thunder cracked down like a whip, smashing into Misdreavus and weakening her substitute.

Both of Andrews team began tormenting their foes with a variety of insults and snide remarks. This deeply affected both Darkfire's Pokemon, who found themselves unable to use the thunder attack again this turn. Mr Mime happily smashed his focused focus punch into Faith's side - the Absol fell back, hurt all over from the strain of paralysis and confusion. A thunder was fired from the skies, this time from Misdreavus to hurt Heart. Dragonair cried in pain as the electricity overwhelmed her.

Finally overcoming their torment (for now), both Absol and Dragonair blasted thunders from their bodies. Mr Mime cried out as he took a lot of damage. Misdreavus' clone shattered, and Misdreavus herself even took damage from the attack, for the radius of the thunder was so very wide. Both shocked, Misdreavus and Mr Mime retalliated. Mr Mime sent a thunder crashing down to Absol, deepening her paralysis. Misdreavus fired off a crackling orb of shadowy darkness at Heart.

The match was now heading towards the end. The skies crackled above as the fight went on. Darkfire and Andrew both looked on attentively, trying their hardest to persevere and win the match. From above, a rumbling shook the arena and huge bolts of thunder clapped down. Each opponent fired a thunder attack, and each was hit by one, too.

Mr Mime clutched his heart as feelings for his trainer flooded his memory. Racing forwar, his feelings for Andrew fuelled his attack as he pumelled Absol firmly. Once that was done, Absol countered with a similar attack, hurling the clown across the arena. Similarly, Misdreavus blasted a shadow ball at Dragonair, who managed to counter it with a similar attack.

After being somewhat disheartened by the attack previously, Mr Mime focused and blasted a beam of psychic energy through the air at Dragonair. Dragonair gave a crooning screech as Misdreavus blasted an arched bolt of electricity at Absol, hitting her and worsening her paralysis.

Darkfire's two 'mon summoned all of their strength into double bolts of raging thunder, which struck Mr Mime and Misdreavus down hard. Mr Mime staggered with paralysis as the match raged on. But not for much longer...

BEGIN!

Here it was. The last round of the match between Darkfire and Andrew. Each had fought hard to try and ensnare victory; each had weaved perilous tactics and strategies. Now it was the final.

Heart, the Dragonair, who rumours claimed is having extensive nickname surgery after the match, blasted a large orange hyper beam through the air. Using up extensive energy, Heart sent the beam slamming right into Mr Mime, who gave a cry as he fell back. He managed to pull himself together before firing off another similar hyper beam, sending it right into Heart's sinewy body.

Faith, also having surgery following the match, used her powers to summon up ghostly swords of energy. They gently swirled around her, whirring faster and faster, creating a vortex of focused energy which was so strong it drowned out the tormenting Misdreavus was shouting.

Following the hyper beam, Heart began to relax and tried regaining some energy. Mr Mime did likewise...in through the nose, out through the mouth...in through the nose, out through the mouth. Meanwhile, Faith charged up a large orb of perpetual glowing energy. Firing it at Misdreavus, the Absol was delighted when it did excellent damage. Misdreavus gave a scowl and blasted a similar one at Faith, yielding slightly worse results.

Again, Heart blasted a second hyper beam right into Mr Mime. Mr Mime flew back and hurt himself badly, struggling to get back up. Shaking slightly, he fired a similar beam, which hit the Dragon straight on, despite his shaking. Heart gave a crooning cry as Faith fired another shadow ball into Misdreavus. The banshee gave a dissaproving look and blasted an arching bolt of electricity at Absol, whose paralysis worsened even more. Suddenly, Faith gave a lurching gasp. The poison inside her worsened and she struggled to stay up. Darkfire watched as the Absol collapsed, defeated. Exhausted.

The referee held his flags up high. The Pokemon stopped momentarily, catching their breath. Darkfire and Andrew exchanged significant looks as the health tabs were calculated.
