    Default the Room [TBA vs TMM] Referee – drew!

    [color=#0099cc]Wow, I'm only reffing two battles at the moment, which is the lowest amount I've ever had, which is ironic considering my promotion </whore out>. Anyway, I needs me two participants for this new battle arena that I've just created, "the Room". Here are the battle conditions:

    Three versus Three, single.
    Participants will PM me their three pokémon, and I will randomly choose which of the three will be sent out first, second, and third.
    I will then randomly select which battler posts his or her attacks first.
    Disqualification Time is the standard week.
    All six pokémon will be be auto-Safeguard'd, meaning that indirect attacks (such as Toxic or Sleep Powder) will be ineffective.


    the Room
    A seemingly boring room with white walls; there are no doors nor walls, so it is questionable how the battlers even exist there in the first place. All techniques are able to be used effectively, despite the lack of water for surf, and the cemented floors causing hindrance for ground-based moves. At the beginning of each round, the referee will (using a Random Number Generator) randomly select a number between one and ten. The number will correspond to these effects:

    1 – White: the walls become white as light; Normal-based attacks will cause more damage than usual (150% of base damage).
    2 – Red: the walls become red like the molten magma rivers; Fire-based attacks will cause more damage than usual, whilst Water and Ice-based attacks will cause less.
    3 – Blue: the walls become blue like the peaceful oceans; Water and Ice-based attacks will cause more damage than usual, whilst Fire-based attacks will cause less.
    4 – Green: the walls become green like the mysterious wood; Grass, Ground, Poison, and Bug-based attacks will cause more damage than usual.
    5 - Yellow: the walls become yellow like the vibrant bolts of electricity; Electric and Flying-based attacks will cause more damage than usual, whilst Ground-based attacks will cause less.
    5 – Pink: the walls become pink like the rose fields; Psychic-based attacks will cause more damage than usual, whilst Fighting-based attacks will cause less.
    6 – Silver: the walls become silver, slightly reflecting everything in view; Steel, Rock, and Fighting-based techniques will cause more damage than usual, whilst Normal and Flying-based will cause less.
    7 – Black: the color of the walls fades to a bitter nothingness; Dark and Ghost-based attacks will cause more damage than usual, whilst Psychic-based attacks will cause less.
    8 – Turquoise: the color of the walls becomes mysterious and tranquil, like the dragons; Dragon-based techniques will cause more damage than usual, whilst all others will cause less.
    9 – Gold: the walls sparkle like the daunting riches we cannot obtain; all attacks will require more energy to use.
    0 – Blank: the color of the walls remain as they were the round before.


    As stated, at the beginning of each round, an RNG will decide what colors the walls will be; there will be no forwarning of this; it'll be a matter of luck and proper strategy.

    With that said, I await two challengers to test out this prototype arena.

    Wow. I definitely didn't realize that I had replied so fast. I just opened a browser to TPM for a momentary break from homework, and bam, there it was. ^^;

    Sorry for the delay (roffle!). I've randomly generated who goes first, and what pokémon will be used. Hatake Kakashi, or "Kakashi-sensei", was selected to choose his attacks first, while TheBlueAvenger will follow suit.

    Kakashi's first pokémon is his (male?) gastly, whose name I forgot, followed by Lance Uppercut (male tyrogue), and finally Fullcharge (male tauros).

    TBA's first pokémon is Person Man (male mr. mime), then the Incredible Drivy Runn (female elekid), and last Arven (female clefable).

    The pairings look to be interesting; I await for Naruto's squad leader to ready his first set of attacks.

    Theme song is left up to you guys; my mind's drawing a blank.

    How appropriate. Gastly looks like Giygas...sorta...kinda...not really.

    Alright Gastly, first burn it with Will-O-Wisp, that'll hopefully make it hard for it to concentrate.
    Then, attack it with Night Shade! Then fire off another Night Shade.

    Person Man, let's go.

    First, start off with a full-on Psychic Blast! Gastly can't do anything to you with Will-o-Wisp, as you've got a perma-Safeguard. Next, use a Telepunch combo; make it of the Electric type.

    round one
    Two trainers fade into the mysterious room; there are no doors and no windows. They begin to wonder how is it that they came to this place. As they continue to ponder, one of each trainer's pokémon magically flicker into the battlefield, ready to show their battle faces. Before they do, a ten-sided dice drops from the ceiling, rolling carelessly along the floor before it stops in place. Four green dots are all that can be seen.

    Mysteriously, the walls change colors from their tranquil empy color. Like paint, a certain green-shade drips onto the walls. With the walls succesfully change, nature begins to unfold.

    Cackling menacingly, Boo, the gastly, begins to conjure a brilliantly flashing orange orb of flames. As the ball of fire hovers a few feet in the air, Boo shoots it off directly towards his psychic adversary (6% – Boo). The flame spirals through the air momentarily, crashing against a well-conceived silver veil. Person Man remains firm as the attack fails to cause him any harm. The human-shaped mime merely closes his eyes, concentrating on the large ball of death. The mime's mental energy begins to invade Boo's psyche, giving the ghost pokémon quite a headache (10% – Boo; 7% – Person Man).

    Disgruntled by his first failed attack, the gastly remains sterne. His cackles become louder and more obnoxious as a certain darkness engulfs the small room. Person Man's fears become more apparent as a cold sweat rolls down his features. Ghastly energy swoops towards the psychic pokémon, causing pain to the confident mime (10% – Person Man; 8% – Boo).

    The darkness continues to overlap the arena, but Person Man remains vigilant. As his mind quakes from the dead energy (10% – Person Man; 8% – Boo), he disappears for just a second, reappearing behind the ghost pokémon with his fist fuming with electric energy. Person Man plants his fist into the ghost pokémon (6% – Boo; 6% – Person Man).


    the results
    Neither side benefits from the effects of the green walls; TheBlueAvenger enters round two with his attacks first.

    round two
    Staring around and sighting the green walls, both pokémon ready for the next room color. Another ten-sided dice appears from nowhere; as it hits the ground, both of them realize what was going to happen. The dice remains blank, nothing there at all. The walls begin to tremble for just a moment, oddly staying the same color.

    Person Man slaps his clicky hands together, chirping out various prayers and other what-not's. As his prayer continues, a collection of flectricity fizzles amongst his hands as he lets it explode towards the gas ball pokémon. Boo, the gastly, winces in pain as the electricity surges through his lifeless body (7% – Boo; 6% – Person Man). When the electricity finally fades, the ball of gas continues to hover a few feet in the air before summoning the acidic toxins within his body. Forming a ball of goo and poison, Boo slams it into the mime's torso, causing much more damage with the green room's power (10% – Person Man; 5% – Boo).

    Wiping chunks of poison from his body, Person Man closes his eyes and leaves the present plane. He seeks the future, and strikes the gastly with an awul mental attack (7% – Person Man). Meanwhile, in Person Man's present past, Boo takes point and aims directly at the "not all there" mime, shooting off a similar collection of rolling electricity to strike him (7% – Person Man; 6% – Boo). The shocking sensation to his body immediately jerks him back into the present; unfortunately, for Boo, the damage has... will be... done. Yeah, that's right...

    Boo patiently waits for his opponent to conjure another attack. The mime complies, clicking his fingers together once more whilst charging up a beam of mental energy. However, before he can shoot it off, the gastly illuminates the green room with a blindingly blinding flash of brightly bright light (3% – Boo). Dazed, the mime shoots off his beam wildly; the only manages to indirectly hit the gastly, causing little damage (5% – Boo; 5% – Person Man).


    the results
    Boo shrugs confidently for a few seconds before a similarly shaped mime emerged from beyond existence. Sporting a baseball bat made of psychic energy, Person Man barrages his opponent furiously (7% – Boo). Person Man2 then feels a sudden striking sensation, and his girp on reality is compromised, the mime shatters from the future... present... thing... yeah...

    round three
    Another dice falls from nowhere in particular, rolling across the floor of the green room before falling into a neutral position. There is but one silver dot, the battlers read, and the green walls drain away, being replaced by the color of normalcy. The room is placid and white once more, giving an advantage to normal-based attacks.

    Both pokémon ready themselves; Person Man snaps his fingers and creates a series of identical clones which engulf the arena (5% – Person Man). They six mimes gaze at their foe intimidatingly. Boo, the gastly, merely shrugs it off as he begins to conjure up another ball of stale energy. The shadow ball grows large, and uncontrollably launches away from Boo's lack of hands. It wobbles violently until it slams into a particular mime; Person Man shrieks as the ball of death collides with his body (10% – Person Man; 5% – Boo). His series of clones disappear into nothingness.

    The mime does not fret, however, and snaps his fingers together in a similar manner. Five more clones reappear just as easily as before (5% – Person Man). Boo once more conjures a ball of dead energy (5% – Boo), tossing it widly towards one of the many mime misters. This time, unfortunately, he isn't so lucky as the ball of death plows through the clone and explodes when hitting the white wall. Person Man laughs at his foe's misfortune.

    The mime then closes his eyes, concentrating on the ghost pokémon's psyche. Feeling a grave discomfort (10% – Boo; 6% – Person Man), Boo immediately fires off another shadow ball (5% – Boo). The ball flails though the air before sinking into another clone, again exploding once it hits the wall.


    the results
    Boo and Person Man have only managed to deal one attack successfully; however, the mime still has three clones at his disposal, each of them willing to take a deathblow for their fearless leader.

    Mkay, Person Man, use some Psybeams to force him to keep his distance. Teleport away from Shadow Balls, and if he gets close, hit him with a Thunderpunch.

    round four
    The dice falls from the ceiling, slapping against the floor uncontrollably before it stops; five pink-hued dots are all that were read as the walls fade from their neutral white-ness. Person Man already feels his abilities heightened as he readies for the next set of attacks. As his foe conjures another ball of stale energy, Person Man concentrates on his single target, firing off a well-conjured beam of mental energy which strikes the gas ball harshly (10% – Boo; 5% – Person Man). Pained by the attack, Boo inadvertently tosses his ghastly ball at the nearest target (5% – Boo). Unfortunate, the ball of death and disorder sails through the mime clone, exploding as it hits the wall.

    Person Man lucked out that time; he begins to charge up another mental attack as Boo does the same, sansing "mental" for "death-based". Both pokémon release their respective attacks simultaneously. Boo is struck by the second mind beam (10% – Boo; 5% – Person Man), however, the ghost pokémon isn't unlucky this time. His shadow ball successfully pelts into Person Man's torso, causing much strain (10% – Person Man; 5% – Boo).

    Feeling lucky, the ghost pokémon lunges forward with his elongated tongue nearly reaching the floor. Person Man remains stoic however, as a certain electricity begins to charge within his fingertips as he balls his right fist in a counter-active defense. As Boo slides his ghostly tongue along his foe (5% – Person Man; 2% – Boo), Person Man retalliates by slamming his electric-engulfed fist into the ball of nothingness (5% – Boo; 5% – Person Man).

    The dice reads "six", and the white walls change to a shiny silver like the metal coat of King Ramses. Person Man readies himself for his foe's next attack. The gas ball ghost closes his eyes while guffawing loudly. Within a mere moment, the color of the walls fade away to a dull void, and Person Man's mind begins to ache with a shattering ghostly energy (10% – Person Man; 6% – Boo). The attack fades, and Person Man retains his grip on reality as he closes in on the gastly's own mind. Browsing through it as if it were a secret file at the Pentagon, Person Man sticks a lock of dark energy on the attack "Nightshade" before retreating to his own mind (6% – Person Man).

    Boo attempts to give his foe another doseage of his attack, but cannot do so; he stresses and his mind quakes, but his attempt to attack his foe is futile (2% – Boo). Person Man muses, sending off a shockwave of mental energy which purges the ghost pokémon of his thoughts, killing his mind for a few seconds (10% – Boo; 6% – Person Man).

    Boo recovers from the attack before trying to use Nightshade once more. This time, he is successful, and the attack has similar effects (10% – Person Man; 6% – Boo). Copy and paste from the second act, Person Man retalliates by sending forth another mental shockwave to rip through the ghastly gastly's thought process (10% – Boo; 6% – Person Man).

    The dice falls once more, rolling around mindlessly until the golden numeral, "IX" is read. The silver walls shatter, replaced by a much more sought after token. The gold walls shimmer, giving both 'mons something to fight for. Person Man stares down towards his foe, projecting his thoughts once more in an outward fashion. The shockwave of pinks and purples clash into the gas bomb as he separates his mind from his body (10% – Boo; 7% – Person Man). Boo, meanwhile, unwilling to go out without a fight, taps into the mime's mentality, conjoining their minds together in an interwined twirl (10% – Boo).

    Unbeknownst, Person Man concentrates, shooting off a beam of concentrated mental energy at the gastly (5% – Boo; 7% – Person Man). A sudden pain befuddles the mime as he collapses alongside his foe (18% – Person Man).

    A simultaneous knock out, the two pokémon are withdrawn from the battle, only to be replaced by an elekid, Drivy Runn, and a tyrogue, Lance Uppercut.

    Alright Lance, first up Bulk up! If it tries any Psychic attacks, use Earthquake. Otherwise, wail on it for a bit with Brick Break.

    If it tries to keep you at a distance with electric attacks, just use Earthquake.

    Without even so much as a sloppy introduction, the walls revert back to their gleamingly silver color as the dice reads 'six' in shiny gray characters. Lance Uppercut prepares his debut into battling simply; stretching out his limbs, the tyrogue's strength becomes grander (3% – Lance Uppercut). Runn creates something of her own mindset, clapping her hands and creating a mental barrier to keep her defenses stable (5% – Drivy Runn).

    In a manner to test out his newfound strength, Uppercut darts over to his foe, packing his fists into one another a few times for intimidation. Runn pays him no mind, merely keeping her body still and her eyes closed. As the rogue continues to run towards her, she becomes enveloped by a red aura. Upppercut plants his right fist into the yellow spark plug (7% – Drivy Runn; 5% – Lance Uppercut). However, before he could do it again, the yellow fairy latches onto the fighter's arm before slamming him dangerously into the ground (10% – Lance Uppercut; 8% – Drivy Runn).

    A bit weary, Uppercut once again slams Runn with his powerful fist (7% – Drivy Runn; 5% – Lance Uppercut). Once more, albeit, he is met with the same reaction (10% – Lance Uppercut; 8% – Drivy Runn). Runn opens her eyes and the red aura faints.

    The barrage of fighting attacks has caused a bit of energy lapse on the elekid, but otherwise, she is fine.

    Keep Lance at bay with a few well-placed Thunderbolts. If he comes near you, fend him off with Thunderpunch, and use Quick Attack to jump off the ground in the event of an Earthquake.

    The dice reads a royal blue "3" as the walls wash away into a sea of aquamarines and other blues. The two pokémon can feel a trickling upon them, is it raining? Only slightly. Drivy Runn anticipates her opponent's first attack, and prepares herself. As Lance Uppercut slams his right fist into the ground (11% – Lance Uppercut), it sends tremors through the cemented ground. Runn quickly leaps as high as she can, avoiding the earthquake easily (5% – Drivy Runn). However, as she lands, she is once more met with another earthquake. She tries her best to avoid it, but her leap was miscalculated, and she still took a little damage (7% – Drivy Runn; 5% – Drivy Runn; 11% – Lance Uppercut). Shaken up, Drivy Runn hits the ground painfully, and her mind is trembling. She tries to leap away from the next earthquake, but her footing lapses, causing her to take the blunt of the attack (14% – Drivy Runn; 11% – Lance Uppercut).

    the results
    Lance's right hand is throbbing; it may take more energy to perform fighting attacks. Meanwhile, the Drivy Runn is very dizzy.

    Alright then, if your hand hurts, use Hi Jump Kick instead!

    Then, grab its' plug-head and hurl it with Seismic Toss! If it uses any self-buffing manuevers(Barrier, etc), use your Sharingan to match it!(Sharingan = Mimic).

    Otherwise, Protect from Thunderbolt or stronger(including Psychic), and Counter any physical attacks.

    An eerily blue-ish green eight falls from the ceiling, and in place of the calm, oceanic walls, is now a color akin to the dice that fell. Like a cavernous maw, both pokémon feel their own strengths weakening, not being dragons and all. The spark plug, Drivy Runn, begins to conjure an electrical charge from within; Lance Uppercut takes note, and erects a protective veil (10% – Lance Uppercut). Drivy Runn shoots off the electric attack (6% – Drivy Runn), however, the cackling fizzle of the electricity is no match for the fighter's protection spell. Sighing, the electric type tries once more, shooting off a powerful bolt of lightning (6% – Drivy Runn). Lance Uppercut reacts in the same manner, re-boosting his shields (10% – Lance Uppercut).

    Both pokémon glare tiredly at one another. The rogue's protective safeguard all but destroyed, with several holes and cracks; Drivy Runn charges up once more, shooting of a final charge of electricity (6% – Drivy Runn). Lance Uppercut, too tired to reinforce his barrier, is strickened by the harsh bolt of lightning (6% – Lance Uppercut).

    The dice, bearing the numeral '6', hits the ground and the mystical walls fade to the magestic silver color that they once were. The tyrogue already feels himself becoming energized, as he quickly darts over towards Drivy Runn whilst she conjures some clones. BAM!, Drivy Runn takes a left hook from her foe (7% – Drivy Runn; 4% – Lance Uppercut), and her concentration lapses; the clones never appear.

    Annoyed, Drivy Runn spurts out a series of insults and what-nots to anger the tyrogue (2% – Drivy Runn). A fire lights up in his eyes, and Lance Uppercut slams the elekid with his fist once more (12% – Drivy Runn; 10% – Lance Uppercut). Runn barrels over for a few moments before pulling herself back together; thinking that wasn't the best course of action, she begins to whirl her arm around and around for momentum. Lance Uppercut anticipates, and reels back his own arm. Both pokémon punch eachother dramatically, causing a good deal of damage to one another (9% – Drivy Runn; 6% – Lance Uppercut; 8% – Lance Uppercut; 5% – Drivy Runn).
