Aside from that, there is an aquarium with many various sized pools, as well as wide spaces for non-water types; The monorail tracks are high up from the battle and are long and thin; perfect for an all-out-duel, although electric attacks may attract the Magnet Train, which will slam into the battlers and deal 10% damage to each.

These places are acessed by simply ordering the command "go to ___", flying, teleporting or, in some cases, digging


The match will take place on the Railway tracks, as mentioned above.

I've got to play my strengths here. I was considering Charizard but this one will do much better, I think. I choose Volcanst [M] Typhlosion. I choose you!

Volcanst first lets use a howl to intimidate Cam and boost your attack. Unleash a smokescreen to stop it coming towards you (in case it falls off the edge of the rails) and finsih by expelling a flame wheel.

Round One,Begin!

[color=green]Both Pokemon begin their battle on the railroad tracks, high above the city. The tracks aren't all that wide, and neither the Typhlosion nor the Sceptile have much room to dodge- they're simply to large. The tracks lead all around the city however, making travel quite easy. Both Pokemon begin by bellowing each other, promising a great fight for the two of them ahead. Neither of them waver- their minds and bodies swell with confidence. (-5% EN)[/green]

Volcanst gathers the excess of the flames within his body- noxious carbon dioxide, and releases it with a hacking cough. His surroundings are quickly swathed in the black, thick smoke, hiding both Pokemon from view. (-4% EN) Cam realizes that he's fairly sure of his opponent's position, but not where the tracks end. Moving could be dangerous...he spins in a fast circle, focusing his mind even further. The speed of the dance clears away some of the smoke surrounding him, but a good deal of the haze remains, hiding Volcanst. (-6% EN)

Cam decides to take a shot in the dark. He gathers a noxious purple poison in the back of his throat, hacking it up with some difficulty. He can see the outline of the tracks ahead, estimating the Typholosion's position, and lets the Toxic fly. (-5% energy) At the same time, a bright flash lights up a Volcanst-shaped silhouette, revealing his position. The poison is incinerated upon contact with the Flame Wheel, negating Cam's attack.(-5% energy) But, at least he knows his opponent's position.

Round Two, Begin!

[color=red]Cam chews on something inside his mouth, aiming with one eye closed, and begins spitting small, brown seeds into the smoke. (-5% EN) Volcanst is nailed by a few of the projectiles, before he leaps high into the air, bursting from the smokescreen. (-4% HP) He lands with a heavy THUD, bringing an unpleasant screech from the tracks below him, dealing a quick blow to the Sceptile. (-7% HP, -4% EN) Cam trembles, a little off balance from the attack and the shaking, but regains his feet. [/green]

Before Volcanst can recover from his blind leap, Cam is upon him, slamming his shoulder into the Typholosion. (-7% HP, -4% EN) Volcanst grunts, but his body weight and sense of balance steadies him. He leans back, rolling with Cam's attacks, and lifts with his knees and forearms. Cam lets out a startled cry, as he is sent flying into thin air. (-6% EN) Volcanst chuckles evilly, preparing the next stage of his attack.

It's impossible to attack his foe from his current position, Cam decides, but it might help anyhow. As he rolls about in mid-air, plummeting towards the ground, he concentrates. In response, his tail glimmers with a metallic sheen, gaining momentum with weight. The Sceptile faces his Iron Tail towards the ground,as a type of cushion. SLAM! It soaks up some of the impact of the fall, but it was still pretty bad.(-5% HP, -6% EN) A rainstorm of fire drizzles over him, adding to his pain.(-6% HP, -5% EN)

[color=green]Staring imperiously down at his opponent below, Volcanst chuckles. Though he enjoys the view from atop the rails overlooking Goldenrod, it's probably safer to make himself less of a target. He coughs slowly, releasing a thick stream of carbon dioxide around him. At the same time, his fiery crest dims, hiding himself within the cloud. (-4% EN) Cam squints, shielding his eyes from the sun as he looks up into the sky. The smokescreen is moving along the tracks, and he can't see the Typhlosion...but he doesn't need to. He smacks his leafy tail against a supporting girder of the tracks, creating a ripple of sound and motion along the steel. The rails shiver and tremble a bit, but the Bullet Train was built on stern stuff, capable of handling a few tremors. Volcanst grunts, adjusting his feet beneath the quivering metal, but that's the extent of the attack. (-6% EN)[/green]

Volcanst hunches down on all fours, gaining his strength back. Along the bottom of the rails, Cam leans against the girders, chewing a seed thoughtfully. Preparation for the round ahead, perhaps?(+8% EN)

Time passes. A brief breeze stirs, blowing a bit of the smokescreen away. The two battlers' thoughts begin to wander, each waiting for the other to make a move. Cam considers his existence: he is a gecko Pokemon, but he cannot use his tongue at all. What kind of sense does that make? Volcanst, being a Gym Leader's Pokemon, has slightly more sophisticated thoughts: he ponders why wild Pokemon seem to only consume berries, but when it comes to liquid, they are reduced to Lemonade and Soda Pop. Soda Pop? The hell?(+8% EN)

Determined to clear the smoky hazard away, Cam closes his eyes and begins to spin. And spin. And spin. (-6%EN) High above, on the tracks of the Bullet Train, Volcanst surveys his opponent doubtfully. Why is the Sceptile spinning around in a circle on the ground below? Volcanst grunts, wondering if it's Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Tauros time again. Why doesn't anyone want to play with him?! Muttering about discrimination, Volcanst bounds off towards the Bullet Train station and the city below.The ref quickly releases a Kadabra, and the two battlers along with the ref are teleported to the ground.

Cam finally comes to a stop, a little woozy. What's this? Five Typholosions surround him!(-6% EN) Confused, Cam punches himself in the head, wondering if his vision's gone screwy. No change- each Volcanst looks just as real as the other. Cam spits in frustration- he can see his opponent, but there's too many of them! Annoyed, he spits an emerald burst of flame at the nearest Typholosion. The Dragonbreath continues through Volcanst, before fizzling out on a nearby brick wall. One clone is gone.(-5% EN)

Annoyed now, Cam exhales another blast of dragon flame. This time, the green flames briefly cover Volcanst, burning him and pushing him backwards. His doubles disappear in a flash of light, as Volcanst pats himself down in an effort to put out the flames.(-9% HP, -5% EN) Volcanst's mane of flame flares up, as the Typhlosion bends over, his paws spread. He releases a large fire attack in the shape of a fire Kanji, which strikes Cam head on. (-14% HP, -7% EN) The Sceptile howls in pain, engulfed in the furious flames.

Encouraged by his success and the words of his trainers, Volcanst quickly creates an optical illusion. Cam blinks in confusion as four more Typholosions appear out of nowhere. (-5% EN) His confusion re-doubles as he catches the sight of his trainer, apparently committing suicide. Through sheer luck, he avoids hitting himself in confusion and decides to continue the fight. He slaps his leafy tail against the concrete, creating a miniature shockwave. Asphalt tears and rips with the earth's ripple, shaking Volcanst to the ground and dispelling his clones. (-10% HP, -6% EN)

When the ground quiets once more, the battleground looks like Hell itself, the street opening up. Angry now, Volcanst decides to release his inner anger. A powerful stream of fire bursts forth from his mouth in a cone of air. Cam is fairly incinerated by the blast, his leaves beginning to brown with the heat. (-11% HP, -5% EN) Skin burning, the Sceptile repeats his first action. The ground shreds itself even more as the shockwaves of power expand, slamming Volcanst to the earth again.(-10% HP, -5% EN)

This time, Volcanst doesn't even bother to get up. He stays on all fours, aims, and spits another cone of flame.Cam's leaves blacken, a few falling off at the attack. (-11% HP, -5% EN) All this flame is bad for him, he seems to have developed a burn along his right ribcage. Holding his side with a grimace, Cam creates his third Earthquake, turning the alley around them into the site of a disaster of some sort. Volcanst bears the shakes as best as he can.(-10% HP, -5% EN)

Cam makes his through the rubble towards Volcanst's position. The Typholosion watches the Sceptile approach, unperturbed. Cam leaps atop of a totaled car, springs across a yawning gap, and deals Volcanst a quick swipe with his glimmering arm-blade. Volcanst snorts in irritation, bleeding across his flank. (-6% HP, -3% EN) He coughs deep in the back of his throat, his eyes squeezing shut. Cam looks pleased, believing that he's severely hurt his enemy, but his expression soon changes to disgust, when Volcanst spits up a glob of poison, right in his face. (-4% EN) Blech!

Cam swipes a hand across his face, wiping away the muck. The damage is done; he can already feel his stomach turning over inside. Angrily, he slashes Volcanst across the chest.(-6% HP, -3% EN) Volcanst grunts, leaning his head back and bellowing to the sky.(-4% EN) In response, the clouds above clear, the temperature beginning to rise with each second. Cam smiles, feeling his blackened leaves crackle in response- the sun feels pretty good!

Turning his attention back to Volcanst, he deals the large Quill a good swipe across the face(-6% HP, -3% EN)Volcanst growls deeply- nobody messes with the face. His mane flares up to new heights, which Cam eyes with some displeasure. This can't be good. It isn't. Volcanst spits a super-heated blast of air and flame, pushing Cam backwards across the gap in a fiery mess. (-15% HP, -8% EN) The fiery outburst leaves Volcanst calmer, though his mane has dimmed a bit. Cam twitches, his burns flaring up and the poison working its way inside.

Excellent work Volcanst. Engulf yourself in a flame wheel - the power of the attack isn't crucial at all, but use the attack as a shield for one action. The heat should cauterise your cuts and heal them up nicely. Next, combine an aerial ace with a fury cutter.

Round Seven, Begin!

As Cam climbs to his feet, hurting all over, Volcanst summons the dimming flames around him. He flares his mane once more, surrounding himself in fire. The height of the flames isn't much to speak of, but it suits his purpose. There is a low hissing noise as the wounds Cam created begin to seal themselves, the blood turning into ribbons of red steam.(-5% EN) Volcanst grunts in satisfaction. The flames don't protect him from another quake of the earth, though, courtesy of Cam. (-10% HP, -5% EN)

Cam lifts his tail again, preparing to slam it into the concrete again, but this time Volcanst has a trick up his sleeve. The Sceptile brings his leafy tail down hard, creating a branch of splitting cracks which travel across the alley.(-5% EN) At the last moment, the Typholosion leaps into the air, surprisingly high for a quadruped. He lands in front of Cam, slashing the grass Pokemon with his claws as he comes to earth. Cam grunts, beginning to bleed from his chest. (-9% HP, -5% EN)

Cam creates a last Earthquake, sending Volcanst to the floor.(-10% HP, -5% EN) By the now, the alley is barely recognizable. Jagged cracks streak in all directions, while mountains and valleys of concrete rise and fall across the lot. A trash can dumpster lies half-in, half-out of one crack, while a few cars have been swallowed up hole. It'll take a whole lot of sealant to fix these potholes...

Once more, Cam's opponent triples himself, an optic illusion. (-6% EN) Pouring all his energy into one last round, Cam breathes a green stream of flames, which fan out towards the nearest Typholosion. In a stroke of luck for his opponent, he manages to strike the correct Volcanst, who grunts in pain as the fires wash over him. (-9% HP, -5% EN) Cam swipes the sweat of his brow and grins. He's still in this!

It only takes one more dousing of the emerald flames before Volcanst topples to the ground. Nonetheless, the Typholosion has a smile on his face, even unconscious. Before Cam can puzzle it over, something in his gut rumbles. He grabs his side in pain, irritating his burn, before he realizes it. The Toxic- it's done its work.

Round Nine, Begin!
Both trainers replace their fallen first with new Pokemon. The gym leaders opts for a Claydol, immune to the Earthquake madness of previous rounds and veteran of the arena. It calmly observes its surroundings before floating forward. The challenger decides to use a Hoppip, a common enough Pokemon and also immune to the earthy effects. She's much smaller than her opponent, but just as battle-ready.

Terrapupa moves first, creating an orb of ice by lowering the temperature in the air around it. A white-blue orb grows in front of it as it collects ice. In a move that will be remembered throughout history, a first throughout Gym Leader history...Arya flops about on the concrete, like a half-dead fish. A tear comes to the referee's eyes as he witnesses this moment (though from sadness or gut-wrenching mirth- you be the judge).(-4% EN) All that flopping around does make a harder target though. Terrapupa aims as best as he can and fires the Ice Beam- it grazes Arya's side before freezing a chunk of concrete. (-8% HP, -6% EN)

Luckily, splashing can't escape psychic mind grips. A violet aura envelops Terrapupa, as well as Arya. A moment later, the Claydol uses his vasy psychic will to slam Arya repeatedly into the ground, being sure to slam her fragile wings into the concrete. The Hoppip screams in pain, until the Claydol is satisfied; her wings are a mess. (-9% HP, -4% EN) Weakly, Arya climbs to her feet and opens her wings, collecting solar energy from the sky. After some time, she glows a brilliant yellow, before releasing a beam of solar energy straight at the Claydol. The solar force slams into Terrapupa, pushing him backwards before the power abates. (-11% HP, -6% EN)

Terrapupa shakes off the burning pain in his mid-section, and begins to collect ice from the atmosphere. Like before, Arya flops about in an unusual imitation of a fish.(-4% EN) Unfortunately, the ripped up chunks of earth prove to be her downfall. After one large leap, she slips and skids down into one of the cracks, falling down to the bottom. Terrapupa takes advantage of the easy target, firing the beam of frost directly at her. Ice collects on her damaged wings, as her teeth begins to chatter. (-12% HP, -6% EN)

Arya start off by leting the fist attack hit you then use Encore then give Claydol Amnesia then end by firing off a Solarbeam...

So let me get this straight. Our first action is going to be repeated, but then forgotten by the second action...so logically we can use anything in our second action.

Confusion to start. You'll forget it by action #2 so next mimic amnesia and use it after solarbeam.
