Depending on what the Ref wants to do this will be a full 6v6 Indigo League match with a Field Change at the halfway point. (after both Competitors have lost 3 Pokemon each)
Each battler must pick 6 pokemon before the battle and PM them to the Ref. Only these 6 Pokemon will be useable during this fight however it is upto you in what order. (Special allowances may be made such as if you need to trade a pokemon u had planned to use etc)
Arena:
At the Ref's choice the Field will be one of the 4 Indigo stadium fields. Rock, Ice, Water and Grass. The field change is also down to Refs decision.

Question -- what if the Pokemon one chooses (say, Magikarp) isn't suited for the arena (desert)?

All fields should be compatible but we wont know that untill the Ref decised the field (after we choose)
Basically the water field will have floats for walkers to stand on and the other fields will have small pools for water types etc. Thats why i wanted it to be so restricted in the field types and the pokemon team you can pick.
If of course you have Amphibious types such as Quagsire etc then there shouldnt be much of a problem. Obviously the ref has a list of our teams and will be able to see if special allowances need to be made.

Ok Hexen meister, start off by spreading a wide blizzard throughout the arena, maybe freezing some of the water too. If it is frozen, slide across it into Dratini with a body slam. If it isn't frozen, hit dratini with an ice beam. Finish with another ice beam either way.

Ok Dratini, since your as happy in the water as you are out get in there as fast as you can to avoid the Blizzard, even if it freezes above you but create a Mist on the arena as you dodge.
Next go for a Supersonic to confuse it and end the round on the offensive with a Dragon Rush!

FIGHT!

As per my instruction, the two competitors quickly unleash they Pokemon against each other. Dratini becomes a enigmatic blue blur- zipping toward the water with relative ease. A hazy blue Mist trails our speeddemon, and with good reason. Hexenmeister quietly gets up and waves his hands around apathetically. Almost instantly, a rage wind blows over the arena, follows by the most freakish snowstorm I've ever seen. Bricks of ice the size of 1955 Bucks are shattering right in front of me! Dratini seems unphazed however as he powers through the Blizzard and divers in the water in the nick of time, the Blizzard roaring over the lake so ferociously that it freezes the top over in spots! Dratini bobs in the water, panting from the cold he had to zip through.

As the Blizzard finished its torrential run over the arena, Hexen carefully thought out its master's orders, quietly meandering onto the ice. Dazed look on its face showed no thought, but I tend to think that it HAD to be thinking. It peered down to spy at the Dratini, whom looked back up at it from under the ice. Dratini then zipped off, finding an open spot in the lake and peering out of it. Acting like a water-Diglett, the serpent turned to spy Hexen lumbering after him. Bobbing in place, Dratini merely shot a series of ultrasonic cries into the air at Hexen, whom retaliated by firing a beam of ice energy he still had in him from that Blizzard he just unleashed. Fearful, Dratini quickly called off her attack and bobbed underwater, watching the beam sear by. Hexen lost his balance and slid to a stop a few feet away, out of range of the Supersonic

He looked down again, and saw Dratini wink at him from under the ice sheet.

Hexen peered down and decided to break this silence between him and his opponent. A swirling mass of concentrated arctic energy gathered in his mouth. Before firing the blast however, a flare of purplish red rose up from the icy sheet. Hexen looked down - and bore witness to a lightning bolt of blue shatter the ice that separated them. Dratini slammed her serpentine mass into Hexen with that Dragon Rush, before coiling off of him and diving back into the chilly water. He was tailed however, as Hexen remembred to fire off that Ice Beam. The beam hit the back of the serpent as she dove in the water, forcing her down a bit. She swam down farther for the moment, to ensure no more beams would tag her backside.

Hmm....not the best of starts Dratini but lets go for some uber evil status effects. Start with attract to lure it in then Thunderwave and go after it again with Supersonic to end with.

FIGHT!

Wow, this round was crazy! Dratini giggled and shot out of the water now, landing on a cold ice raft. Steadying its body weight upon the surface, she reared her head back, and flicked her tail up. In this classic Dratini pose she looked very attractive-specially to all the fanboys in the audience.

Hexen, meanwhile, raised his hands slowly, twiddling his fingers a bit as if stretching them. Unbeknownst to Dratini, the move that Hexen completed nullified the effects of that Attract upon his mind, and left him as...clearminded..as ever.

Thinking that maybe the Slowking was just that...a bit slow... Dratini slid off the ice, and made for his ice raft. Shooting out of the water and propelling herself up through the Mist that veiled the top of the water, she released a thin series of bolts that scampered across the ice-and crashed into the Slowking's lumbering bulk. A lumbering bulk that kept moving and threw a similar series of thin bolts up at the now descending dragon. Dratini was struck by one of the bolts as she dove back in the water.

Unsure as to why the Pokemon she was battling was being utterly unaffected by her attacks, Dratini resurfaced, face hidden in the Mist. Hexen looked around slowly, trying to spot her, and got his clue when hearing her resubmerge. Dratini sailed to the back end of Hexen's ice float and popped up again, shooting a series of waves over toward him. Slapping her tail on the ice-Hexen turned around, revealing a largely glowing fist of energy.

Dratini watched as Hexen ran over and ..slipped! His large bulk lost traction on the ice-umbrella like headdress stretching out as he slammed into the ice near Dratini, breaking his ice float upon releasing that Focus Punch. She shrieked as the ice chunks hit her, but fortunate for her she was not hit by the full brunt of that attack.

Ok Dratini start off by getting underwater and churning things up and hopefully distracting your opponents concentration with a Surf attack.
Follow that with a submerged Dragondance to boost your speed, and combined with the Mist (is that still there?) you can hopefully dodge the Ice Beams and then slam into it with a Facade!

FIGHT!

Slipping around on the ice for the moment, Hexen stood up and took a gander at his surroundings. But the Dratini was nowhere to be seen. The Mist that was tossed across the arena made the water quite hard to notice aside form the floating icebergs that danced across the lake. Eerily, Dratini slid up through the mist, and stealthily made his way over the the platform Hexen was occupying. Like the stealth worm-dragon he was; he leapt from the water, jaws open-and a powerful cascade of water thundering up behind him!

However, his body was frozen in midair, as Hexen's arms held him there by the use of a mystical power. Bending his own hands together, Dratini's body began to mimic, until the Slowking noticed the body of water falling toward him. By freezing Dratini up in the air, he inadvertently broke the link between Dratini and the water he was forcing up. Unable to stop both the water and his continued action, Hexen was slammed by the Surf and forced off the ice platform.

Landing with a thud, Dratini began to slither away to find his underwater adversary, when the paralysis kicked in. Writing like a dying worm under a sunbeam by a sick little kid with a magnifying glass, Dratini winced in immoveable contractions as Hexen slowly made his way back to the surface. A hand filled with arctic chill, he reappeared upon the ice float and threw the beam at the hapless Dratini, sending it skidding off the ice.

Obviously chilled, but no longer paralyzed, Dratini shot back up to the surface. Instead of breaking the Mist however, Dratini stayed under it. Circling Hexen. Our Slowking-whom was gearing up a second beam of ice, stared at the mist, which was beginning to thin. Noting a small trail of it moving around his current position, he took careful aim, and shot the beam at the prescribed location where the trail should end up.

The beam hit that area, causing a large ice pillar to sink underwater momentarily, before bobbing back up- splicing the mist. Dratini rode the suction out and shot out the water again, diving into Hexen with a hard Facade. Hexen and Dratini both stayed clasped in fury-and fell into thw water

FIGHT!

I LOVE the league! Such implicitly strategy, carefully timed and executed with such precision!...

And then I get to announce battles like this where it's just pure mayhem! See, look here! Dratini and Hexen are currently fighting it out to the defeat in the Ice Arena's pool. As they continue reeling from their last encounter, Hexen wasted no time in charging up the blue energies of cold.

Dratini spotted this, and naked away in the water as fast as it could. During its straight shot away from Hexen, it called upon its ancestral strengths, and began performing a sort of synchronized dance that was born from the draconian roots. As the energy given off by this dance heated the water around her, she suddenly felt the cold blast of ice forcing her to ascend. Barely rolling off the beam while staying submerged, she shook off the chill that Hexen had effectively given her....

and seemed to be prepared to do again..

Indeed Hexen---CRAP!

::Kicks underwater camera monitor, it flickers back on to show Hexen's rear::

-.- Wow. Anyway. Hexen..is merely charging up a second Beam here! He's really putting some power into this one, as the water is freezing around him in a needle like manner, giving the impression that this beam will cause some sort of underwater tunnel to be formed when its shot. Indeed, as Hexen shoots the second beam, it freezes the water it passes through, making an inverted luge. The beam scorches for Dratini, whom is swimming back toward our beam thrower. In a miracle of speed, Dratini swoops under and around the beam-still being nicked her and there, but nothing like last time. In answer to the beam, a searing bolt of lightning sizzled through the pool, and finds its mark in Hexen. Unaware of the impending doom, Hexen began to swim vertically, aligning himself with that bolt of lightning.

Thoroughly cooked, Hexen hastily shoots to the surface, knowing the water is still carrying the charge. This proves to be a bad moment for Dratini whom once again succumbs to paralysis- by being in close proximity to the charged area. She struggles underwater, while Hexen climbs upon dry icy land! No DragonRush here.

As he climbs upon his float, the Mist finally fades away, revealing the sporadic ice spikes along the ground, and some patches of grass! Most importantly, the water can be seen clearly, and Hexen can see Dratini from his position.

FIGHT!

As this fight continues, Dratini seems to be irking the day she felt that shock of lightning. Her muscles ache, and for a moment, she felt as if they were going to cause her to be stricken into immobility. Floating underwater for that moment though changed, as she began to notice the water level lowering. Floating to the top-the rest of the water began to circle around and up into a tumultuous wave, that was being controlled by Hexen! Once her face poked out of the water, Hexen released his grip of the wave, and let it come crashing down onto her.

Dratini's eyes widened with surprise, before she slid her tail back and forth across th water, the action causing the incoming Surf to start to twist within itself. Addition water spirits began to shoot up around her, until the duo were watching the formation of a series of Twisters. The Surf convulsed within itself, dispelling itself to the draconic energy and ultimately backlashing at Hexen, breaking his float and sending him flying.

Crashing on land for once, Hexen recovered, shaking off the water. That was alright, he still had this! Hands reached toward the sky once more, and began to call upon the icy spirits that dragons oh so hate. Dratini slithered out of the water just then, and noticed the rage of ice that was starting to form all around Hexen. Instantly, she coiled about herself once, an invisible barrier erected just as the Blizzard was unleashed over the area.

Howling winds and icy gusts began to refreeze the lake arena, making a second ice sheet to cover the water. Dratini continued to focus, feeling the drain of energy from her as the Blizzard continued. Finally, the winds stopped, Hexen a pit peeved that this dragon was still surviving.

Relinquishing the barrier, Dratini gave off a soft coo, before alighting the sky with a mystical energy, that began to sear back down at Hexen. The yellow bolt tore at the 'king, whom was sitting calmly, gathering up energy that began to collect around his horns. The bolt struck, tossing him back a ways, but he didn't show his anger. Instead..

his energy went toward his little...hat-shell..thing and with a mental nod, Dratini was railed by a invisible force that sent the poor dragon skidding across the ice for quite a while. Hexen smirked, still assuming his zen pose.

FIGHT!

As we return to the winter wasteland, I quickly grab a North Face to deal with this frigid round. As I head out in this uncharted battle territory, Hexen walked right by me, face ready for battle. Hands were already cupping themselves, creating a icy energy structure.

Spotting his target still moving backwards upon the ice, Hexen took aim, and was ready to launch the beam, when he spotted that the Dratini was standing as high as she could. Aiming for her midsection, he fired the beam!

Spotting the incoming, Dratini quickly snapped her head forward, roaring slightly. The subsequent attack ripped across the icy plain, and danced around the ice beam, concentric circles forming like rings for the beam to jump through. They sailed on-to catch Hexen off guard. He turned to run, but was inevitably struck by the beams, which threw his body a few yards.

On the other end, Dratini immediately flattened her body against the ground, uncomfortably. In doing so, the beam aimed for her missed, and sailed over her, crashing into an ice wall a few meters back. Looking back at teh wall, she sighed.

Standing up, Hexen shook his head. He was ready to glare at the Dratini, but the second he turned around, he had a nasty surprise waiting for him. Dratini covered the distance between her and him in under 5 seconds-and she wasn't stopping. With no time to block, Hexen and Dratini collided and went flying toward the far western wall. They slammed into it, and caused a small avalanche to fall atop of them. Running over, I looked to see if the duelists were ok, and suddenly an auburn glow emanated from the ice pile. I quickly dove for cover as Dratini suddenly shot skyward, obviously tail slapped by the in-pose Hexen.

Best guess-I think Hexen took the momentum from the hit..and Countered it in a harsh tail slap.

Slowing her ascent, Dratini took a moment to stare at Hexen, before giving off another draconic coo. Speeding down at the opponent, she made her body corkscrew as she dove in. Hexen planted his tail and had his hands out stretched to deal with the hit. She flew in and swooped up, using her serpentine body to hit Hexen with an Uppercut Facade. Hexen crossed his hands just then, the force striking his forearms-causing a strong shock wave to run through the area. He quickly acted, grabbing her tail from the hit and judo tossed her over his shoulder, slamming her body into the ice.

Releasing her tail, he backed up; slammed his fists on his chest, roaring out a good sized "KING!"

2) Hexen's second used of Counter was full impact on Dratini.
3) Counter took more energy than usual because of the severity of the hit he was countering.

Wanting nothing more than to end that Slowking, Dratini slithers away, her head ringing. She hastily covers a considerable distance, Hexen almost losing her due to her complexion partially fading in and out with the icy areas.

Hexen though was quick to pick up when she stopped, and raised his hands above his head, holding a larger orb of ice. Dratini though, was coming back close, and suddenly radiated outward into 5 clones of herself. 6 different snakedragons heading toward Hexen slightly shook him. Looking left and right as they slithered in different directions, he threw his Ice Beam at the farthest one to his location.

No go, as that one feigned defeat, but then dissipated. With four clones left, Hexen eyed carefully which one was real. But alas, he couldn't.

Uncaring about what that dragon could do, Hexen glared at it, and sat back on an ice float, looking at the water underneath. However, the sky began to darken, as the 5 dratinis began to slither up toward Hexen. Finding himself surrounded by dragons with weird yellow glowing eyes, Hexen stood up, ready to punch at them if need be.

He didn't even see the bolt rain down atop his head, and shatter the ice float, freeing the lake of its icy cap.

Hexen floated underwater momentarily, dazed. Staring up at the surface, 5 heads peered down at him. The 5 heads then moved back, and Hexen began to swim toward the surface carefully.

Dratini and its clones began charing up a stronger Thunder just then -to the point where one of the clones fizzled out of existence-giving its life to power the strike. The poor Slowking was introduced to Mr. Thunder again, and after the blinding shock of energy finished lighting up the arena...Hexen could be seen slowly sinking to the bottom of the pool
