Rules: No Direct Healing, Sub, Attract or OHKO's. Everything else is a go.

Once, long ago, this was a beautiful building. Time has caught up to it, however, and now the walls are starting to crumble. There is no roof to this marble church, and ivy lines the walls, which still stand tall even as they decay. Stained glass reflects gentle sunlight.

Something about this place has an influence on the weather. All weather effects last twice as long here. Other than that, combat is as normal.

Hrm. Minh. He's coming for us. So, let's make a nice Sleep Powder that covers all of his clones. Once he gets a nice dose of that...Swords Dance. Make sure you keep moving. No need for fire so fast. Whether he's asleep or not afterwards though, Sludge Bomb him.

Fuji, the resident fire Pokemon in this match, decides to start defensively. His body glows for a split second before splitting into four identical copies(3 ENG @ Fuji). Minh. T is a bit wary of the fire type, but none the less follows through with her plan. The bulb on her back opens and a blue cloud of spores expel from it. It cloud is directed at all the Fujis, smothering the clones and the real fire type in a sleepy powder. The clones quickly vanish as the real Fuji closes his eyes for a snooze (3 ENG @ Minh. T). Ryuhaeru (who I will call Ryu for short), runs quickly towards Atripe. Stopping about two feet away, the small dragon type takes in a hefty breath before exhaling wicked turquoise and blue flames (2 ENG @ Ryuhaeru). However, the attack doesn’t damage the creepy ghost one bit, as a faint golden shield glows and absorbs the entire attack (6 ENG @ Atripe).

Minh is tempted to attack her sleeping foe, but instead concentrates and envisions herself doing a graceful, yet deadly dance. She opens her eyes with new found confidence and strength flowing through her veins (3 ENG @ Minh. T). Fuji… is… still sleeping (+2 ENG @ Fuji). Both Atripe and Ryu glare at each other, yet neither attacks. Ryu focuses all her energy the best she can; becoming confident in her abilities (3 ENG @ Ryuhaeru), while Atripe calms his mind, becoming peaceful and at ease (3 ENG @ Atripe).

Ryu doesn’t hesitate now; she’s confident and ready to take on the creepy ghost. Her teeth glow black slightly as she leaps off an old bench inside the build and propels herself at Atripe (3 ENG @ Ryuhaeru). Expelling from Atripe is an aqua beam that settles dead on Bagon’s mouth before ice and snow propel down the beam and slam into the Dragon, sending her crashing into a wall (13 DMG @ Ryuhaeru, 4 ENG @ Atripe). The crash from Ryu hitting the wall awakens Fuji from his slumber, groaning he gets to his feet just as a disgusting glob of sludge slams into his shell (11 DMG @ Fuji, 3 ENG @ Minh. T). Fuji growls in annoyance and runs (as fast as he can…) towards Minh. T, before slamming into the grass type (9 DMG @ Minh. T, 4 ENG @ Fuji).

Fuji, move up to Atripe while it's pestering Ryuhaeru and turn the ghost's head with a Flamethrower burst. Show your Iron Defense to ride out the Earthquake, and then use a Fire Spin on Atripe - that should burn out the Worry Seed before it can make contact.

Ryuhaeru, your target for the round is Minh T. As much as I like monsters with Toad names, the little plant frog must suffer. Get behind Minh and Headbutt him, then break out Dragon Claw. End with a Flamethrower burst.

Minh concentrates; a faint blue shield surrounds both her and her ally Atripe (5 ENG @ Minh). The ghost doesn’t hesitate any longer; it looms closer to the small dragon, who; wanting to stay away from the horrible ghost, toddles off to get behind Minh. Atripe fires his will-o-wisp at Ryuhaeru (3 ENG @ Atripe). However, the little dragon Pokemon uses a powerful headbutt on bulbasaur (effectively moving both of them), and the will-o-wisp misses, narrowly though (7 DMG @ Minh. T, 3 ENG @ Ryuhaeru). Fuji’s nostrils and shell suddenly start to pour out smoke, the fire type turns to Atripe; who is still looming, and blasts him with a stream of fire (10 DMG @ Atripe, 3 ENG @ Fuji)!

Fuji watches Minh intently. She stomps her foot on the ground, and the entire arena begins to quake. Fuji concentrates and soon a coat of hard durasteel armour forms over his entire body (3 ENG @ Fuji). Ryu is panicking, thick cracks are travelling up the marble walls and the floor is effectively splitting open. She focuses suddenly, remembering her duties in battle. Her claw bursts into a creepy turquoise flame and she races as Minh (who is happily watching the destruction) and rips a nasty cut clean open on the bulbasaur’s neck [CRITICAL HIT] (13 DMG @ Minh. T, 3 ENG @ Ryuhaeru). Minh howls in pain and glares as the Dragon just as a massive black orb slams into her, exploding violently (11 DMG @ Ryuhaeru, 3 ENG @ Atripe). The earthquake finally stops (12 DMG @ Fuji, 10 DMG @ Ryuhaeru, 5 ENG @ Minh. T).

Minh, ignoring the pain that the cut is causing, takes aim at Fuji. Her bulb opens and spews a single seed towards the fire Pokemon (3 ENG @ Minh. T); Minh smiles for one moment before a searing heat and unimaginable pain overcome her happiness. It’s Ryuhaeru again! Thick red flames pouring from her mouth as she tries to exact revenge for the earthquake (13 DMG @ Minh. T, 4 ENG Ryuhaeru). Fuji notes that the seed has attached to his shell, however, it seems to be having a problem burrowing through his iron coating. Nothing more then an irritant: Fuji turns to Atripe; who is charging another shadow ball. Fuji takes in a mighty breath, and then expels a spiralling column of flames onto the field. It wobbles and make it's way to Atripe (distracting the ghost), who looses control of the shadow ball. It collapses in on itself, doing effectively nothing (3 ENG @ Atripe). Duskull is singed as the column encases him inside, exposing him to sheer heat and flames (4 DMG @ Atripe, 2 ENG @ Fuji).

Ryuhaeru, touching Atripe will not be a very wise move this time. Instead, begin with a Dragon Dance, then Dragon Rage at it twice.

Atripe, I know its hot buddy, but let's stay in the center of the flame for a little bit. You'll be out soon enough. First, Snatch that Dragon Dance from Ryu. Then Torment him from inside the fire Lastly, free yourself and smash a real good Ice Beam into Ryu, that'll shut him up.

Fuji and Minh star each other down with hatred burning in their eyes. Torkoal ‘runs’ towards Bulbasaur who is dancing about wildly (3 ENG @ Minh. T). Fuji groans, all this running takes too much effort, but he bounds at Minh anyway, landing a hearty blow despite Minh’s attempts to dodge (9 DMG @ Minh. T, 4 ENG @ Fuji). Ryu begins to dance, shes ten times more graceful then Minh (3 ENG @ Ryuhaeru), and this seems to anger Atripe who remains in the column of fire and instead, using the dark, greedy powers in his heart to place a awful curse on Ryuhaeru (5 ENG @ Atripe): a curse that steals her new confidence. However, staying in the column has its price: the heat and flames attack Atripe (5 DMG @ Atripe).

Minh seeks to cause chaos again. With one mighty stomp she starts another earthquake. Fuji carefully makes his way to Minh, but the crack that was brought by the last earthquake grows considerably larger, slowly his attempt. Ryu, furious at the horrible curse that has been placed on her, takes in a mighty breath and expels turquoise flames at her ghost opponent (8 DMG @ Atripe, 2 ENG @ Ryuhaeru). Atripe retaliates by tormenting the dragon; making sure it can’t repeat any moves (5 ENG @ Atripe). Fuji, as determined as he is, fails to reach Bulbasaur because of the giant, cracked marble wall toppling over, becoming an unstable bridge over the crack (12 DMG @ Fuji, 10 @ Ryuhaeru, 5 ENG @ Minh. T). Atripe is again, burned by the column of fire (5 DMG @ Atripe)

Ryuhaeru stops. Something sort of horrible block suddenly shoots up in her mind. She looks around, dazed. She cannot perform her orders! Atripe breaks through the flames (7 DMG @ Atripe); freed from his hellish prison, Atripe aims an aqua beam at Ryu. Ryu’s eyes grow wide as ice and snow fly down the stream and slam into him (15 DMG @ Ryuhaeru, 4 ENG @ Atripe). Minh however, isn’t as lucky, she stomps her foot again, and the quake once again rips across the arena, making chunks of another wall slam into the ground. Fuji however, has anticipated this. He’s on the bridge, and despite it being shaky, he creates a new column of fire; that surrounds and traps the grass type (8 DMG @ Minh. T, 2 ENG @ Fuji). The quake stops, leaving the arena in ruins (12 DMG @ Fuji, 10 DMG @ Ryuhaeru, 5 ENG @ Minh. T)

Minh, Fuji's gonna try to stop Atripe. So let's give Fuji something to worry about. Flash him (don't show too much) and then throw a Sludge Bomb at Fuji. Then, help out Atripe a bit and smack Ryu with a good ol Take Down.

Kids, we're in trouble.

Ryuhaeru, this turn I'll start with your orders. Start with a Roar to drown out the Taunt - like you can be insulted when you're emitting a 10,000-decibel noise. If it works, Protect yourself from the Ice Beam and counter the Shadow Ball with Dragonbreath. If the Taunt still gets through, then go down hacking - turn on Atripe and Dragonbreath the little ghost before launching a Flamethrower.

Fuji, start by just shutting your eyes to the Flash. Then wade through the Sludge Bomb and hit Minh with a Flamethrower before breaking out the BFG - Eruption, aimed straight at the Bulbasaur.

Hehehe, with the ref on a sugar high, the battle continues!! Atripe begins to throw a bunch of insults at Ryu (3 ENG @ Atripe), but Ryu will have none of this. She opens her mouth and RAWWWWWRRRSSSS!!!! (3 ENG @ Ryuhaeru) Atripe runs far away from Bagon terrified. Minh. T begins to open her bulb, oh god no!! Please!! Fuji shuts his eyes and looks away, wanting none of it (3 ENG @ Minh. T). The column of fire burns Minh. T (7 DMG @ Minh. T).

Feeling rejected, Minh. T hits Fuji with a disgusting glob of goo (10 DMG @ Fuji, 3 ENG @ Minh. T). Fuji, rather unaffected by the attack, opens his jaw and expels red hot flames! Dear lord! It buuurnns! (Not really) Minh. T is roasted (16 DMG @ Minh. T, 3 ENG @ Fuji). Atripe is attempting to keep the little Bagon at bay. He desperately charges and fires a ice beam (4 ENG @ Atripe) but alas, it is absorbed by a faint golden shield surrounding Ryu (6 ENG @ Rryuhaeru). Oh nos! The column of fire has torched Minh. T again! (6 DMG @ Minh. T)

Final action! Atripe watches warily as Bagon closes in, turquoise flames escape from his mouth. Atripe charges up a shadow ball and fires it quickly a Ryuhaeru! (13 DMG @ Ryuhaeru, 3 ENG @ Atripe). Luck doesn’t follow Atripe though, as the dragon breath lands a direct and harmful [CRITICAL HIT] blow (17 DMG @ Atripe, 2 ENG @ Rryhaeru). Minh. T races towards Fuji (breaking through the column of fire: 8 DMG @ Minh. T) and tackles him so hard they both go careening off the bridge and landing near the marble chunks (11 DMG @ Fuji, 4 DMG @ Minh. T). However, Minh. T doesn’t get back up, her own attack has fainted her. Fuji however isn't stupid and switches targets. He begins to glow bright red, and his shell and nostrils flare to life with thick, black smoke. Atripe’s eyes grow wide as Torkoal lets out a defiant cry and releases searing white flames, and flaming rocks, that torch the ghost type, lighting him on fire! O.O’’ (19 DMG @ Atripe, 6 ENG @ Fuji). Burning poor Atripe.

Poor Atripe, he stares fearfully at the little Bagon and her partner, a defiant and powerful Torkoal. Atripe; terrified of what is coming his way, summons an extremely cold blast of air to blow through the arena; carrying with it snow, hail and freezing rain. As the attack approaches, Fuji opens his mouth and expels red hot flames that cut through the ice easily, while Bagon unleashes a hearty dragon rage. The wind hits Ryuhaeru (18 DMG @ Ryuhaeru, 6 ENG @ Atripe); who collapses from the icy attack, it then hits Torkoal (9 DMG @ Fuji, 6 ENG @ Atripe). The flamethrower hits Atripe first (11 DMG @ Atripe, 3 ENG @ Fuji), then the dragon rage which was expelled before Ryuhaeru fainted (8 DMG @ Atripe).

Atripe fades away, defeated.
