===Round 1===
Atop the ancient gears that are the inner workings of this Tower, I , your preeminent ref DL, reside.
n_n This cog spins in a circle and sitting on the center makes my stomach wiggle!
Anyway, instead of a Pre-match warmup, we have no time for that. Vermillion has already sent out his Magnezone, Maladroit-against Mystic Clown's Pinsir, Blake! The two Pokemon are already on one of the largest cogs at the top of the tower.
Mala started by floating up and rapidly flashing. In an instant, two more large UFO's appear, completing the trifecta of Magnezones. But jeez! Blake wasted no time in causing springs and other debris to fly around from the sides and underside of the cog.
Earthquakes are dangerous here. Mala seems to agree, as it was his by a heavy cog from above and got shoved onto the shaking ground to incur full damage. The clones faded away almost instantly..and Blake inched forward to prepare for his next action...
Maladriot: -4E/-35H ==///== Blake: -9E
Blake stopped when Mala was beginning to twitch. Floating up to release himself of the weight on its back, Mala already showed heavy signs of wear. Blake reached up though, grabbing Mala by the edge of its body and pulled him down. Spinning in place, Mala became a discus of sorts, and was released as such, but not before releasing a Wave of Thunder backwards upon being thrown. Blake had no chance as his muscles clenched up, but he did watch Mala fly into a series of cogs, and get lodged in between them.
Ironically, the antennae on Mala's head allowed him to slide through the notches in the cog-o wait, no not that one..ow!
Maladriot: -3E/-17H ==///== Blake: -7E *Par*
..This match seems to be faring really poorly for Mala, as it floats back up. Two hefty hits and it's already showing heavy denting to its body. Blake flexes and begins to try and dance in place, clacking its pointy bars akin to Swords, but his body seizes up. Falling to his knees, he can only kneel as Mala flats over, and releases a series of waves over Blake's head.
Soon, the world begins to fog over a bit, and things just aren't right to Blake as he finally stands up again.
Maladriot: -3E ==///== Blake: ARGH *Confused*
