Flamethrower can burn. You simply cannot use a move that does nothing except inflict a status condition.

“Heeerrreee we are at this wonderful pokemon match at Wrestlemaniaaaaaa”

“Lets get ready to rummmmbllleeeee”

Both pokemon climb into the ring ready to fight

“In this corner with an extremely large head and tiny body, representing SR-71 we have Trapinch or Chompey”

“And in the other corner a small green pokemon with a spiky back and small ears, representing Dark Sage we have a Female Nidoran or Crystal”

Both trainers shout out their orders and watch the pokemon circle each other in the ring getting ready to fight. Crystal starts of by opening its tiny mouth and spraying rings of water from it flying across the field. The rings effortlessly floated towards Chompey smacking him in the face. In retaliation Chompey opens his mouth and a mass of dirt and sand seems to form from it spreading across the ring into a violent sandstorm.

With the mass of sand and dirt flying around the arena, Chompey concentrates and packs together some makeshift rocks from the sand. Once he is satisfied with the rocks he picks them up into his mouth and throws them on top of Crystal. While he is doing this though, Crystal opens her mouth and hocks up a giant ball of toxic waste and shoots it towards Chompey. But unfortunately, for Crystal the poisonous ball is intercepted by one of the sandy rocks that Crystal is being entombed in. Eventually Crystal is completely encased by the rocks.

With the sand storm still raging, Crystal breaks itself out of the sandy tomb and in a explosion of rage an icy beam pulses from its mouth and hits Chompey right in the head causing him to reel back slightly. Picking up its disproportional body Chompey spins its head around in circles causing a mini sandstorm with in the sandstorm, solidifies it and sends it towards Crystal once again crushing the poor pokemon under a ton of sand.

Status: Enter the Sandman

With the raging sand storm still continuing in the wrestling ring, Chompey takes this chance to use his earth power again. Collecting up some sand from the storm he packs it together into a large sandy rock before attempting to throw it at Crystal. Crystal on the other hand has another idea for the storm. She starts to parade her corner of the ring chirping out her name, the fans in the stadium watched as dark black clouds seeped through the windows of the stadium and began to form over the battle ring. The clouds crackled and rain poured out from them dousing the sandstorm causing it to flow into mud. While Chompey’s big rock also disappeared into mud.

With his ultimate rock destroyed by a little rain, he tries to make another tomb from the mud. But to no avail trying to fling the mud towards Crystal it just splats against her body causing damage but nothing major. Crystal on the other hand takes the opportunity to get another cheap shot in, with Chompey distracted by his recent failure he gets hit by a pulse of water emanating from Crystal.

With his failure and getting hit by a cheap shot fueling his rage, Chompey rushes over to Crystal with his jaws wide open and chomping down on Crystal’s head. Dislodging the tiny ant from its head, Crystal once again spurts out another pulse of water hitting the ant in mid air.

With the whole crowd cheering for both opponents they get a bit of a morale boost helping them to keep fighting. Chompey starts of this round by jumping up into the air and then landing back on the ground releasing the shock wave through out the ring. The whole of the audience screamed as light on the roof fell to the ground hitting both of the combatants. With the lights on the ground crackling with electricity, Crystal shoves of the broken light and then rushes towards Chompey with its tiny paw glowing a dastardly purple. She then ran the paw home right into Chompey’s face.

Moving around the lights in the ring, trying not to touch them for fear of electrocution. Both pokemon get ready for the next attack, Crystal opens her tiny mouth and spouts of the rings of water which float towards Chompey. But before they can get to him he bites a hole in the ground and dives in effectively avoiding the attack.

Moving under the ring in the stadium, Chompey quietly contemplates his next move. Crystal on the other hand runs around the ring desperately trying to figure were opponent would strike. Then right behind here a tear in the ring forms as the tiny ant bites through it and launches himself into the air, before coming back down and biting the small creatures head. With the giant headed ant on her head, Crystal thrashes around trying to dislodge it. She gives a might thrust and the ant goes soaring into the air followed by a spectacular thud on the ring. She takes this opportunity to hit him with a cold ice beam directed from her mouth.

With his energy running low, Chompey looks for a hole in the ground where he had gone in just before. Running for cover he dives in and waits beneath the ring again planning his next attack. Crystal on the other hand starts to wait for her opponent to pop up again so she can surprise him with a nice little attack.

Running around the bottom of the ring, Chompey thinks about where he is going to come up just before he jumps out from under the ring, opening its giant bear trap of a mouth and chomps right on Crystal’s head. With the ant on its head once again, Crystal flings the insect into the air hits it with a cold icy beam of frozen particles right at Chompey

With its tiny body freezing from the last attack, Chompey decides to use this upwards momentum to prepare for his next move. Slamming down on the ground on all fours the whole stadium shutters as more spotlights hit the ring crashing on the combatants.
Looking around the ring Chompey looks for his opponent, but to his discontent Crystal is sitting there looking fine just as her green and white shield shattered like glass.

Breathing heavily Chompey makes another attempt to get back at Crystal, Crystal doesn’t seem as phased and takes a deep breath in and blurts out a storm of violent winds and ice particles that seem a little too big for its small body. Just before the storm hits Chompey, he dives under the wrestling ring again barely avoiding the blizzard.

Hiding under the ring once again Chompey beings to think up were he will strike his opponent next. Crystal on the other hand is keeping a calm mind just waiting for her opponent to come back up. With a flash of an eye Chompey rises up from the floor of the ring and comes back down once again biting Crystal on the head. For the umpteenth time this match Crystal flings Chompey into the air, in retaliation Crystal forms a ball of toxic energy in her hands and throws it straight at Chompey. But just before Chompey can dodge the ball, the whole stadium was turned pitch black and the fireworks went off. The flames dazzled the audience as both the pokemon were inflicted by a horrible burn from the flames. In all this commotion Chompey was struck by the sludge bomb.

Floating up in the air Chompey comes back down with vengeance slamming his four tiny legs onto the ground once again causing the whole stadium to shake as the lights shut on and off. As soon as Chompey was on the ground, Crystal forms the toxic ball in her hands again and then shoots it at Chompey hitting him and knocking him to down to the ground ending the match and possibly Chompey’s life.
