It's been a while since we had our last battle, CEB, but I'm back, and ready to throw a real curveball your way this time. You mind if we use only evolved Pokemon (or ones that don't evolve whatsoever) this time? If so, then...

Sorry to have to point this out to you CEB, but remember this battle is for evolved (not necessarily fully evolved) and non-evolving Pokemon, since we used basic Pokemon in our first battle, that was the reason I'm requesting for us to not use any basic Pokemon that haven't evolved yet.

Well, Seraph gave me trouble last time, but this time, he's going to be getting it back, I'm going to choose one of my rarely used Pokemon, Goldix, my shiny male Steelix..

Goldix, let's start off with a quick Taunt to annoy Seraph, then I want you to use a Double Team, finish with a Dragonbreath, aiming for his face if possible.

Sub:

If he tries going underground, shake up the ground with an Earthquake. A Vibrava may have the ability to float, but if they're underground, they must be vulnerable to Earthquake.

Start of with a protect to dodge the Taunt, then hit the clones with an Earthquake. The finally zip in and Mud Slap him in the eyes before he can get the Dragon Breath out.

Ok no I'll stop. It's a 3 on 3 folks, and we're starting things off here large and strong. A Steelix, Goldix to be exact, vs Seraph-the mid stage Vibrava! Seraph get's things off to a safe start, forming a shield around him that buffers against those spiteful Taunts Goldz is spittin'.

No worries. Goldix spins his midsection (So WEIRD!) and shakes and thumps around, Seraph bouncing back in confusion. But before long, three shiny Goldix's could be seen, each sneering evilly at the mini-dragon. At least...there were three, as Seraph unleashed an Earthquake through the level ground, causing all the Goldies to writhe in agony. The clones evaporated, leaving the original lying there, quiet upset. Head reared up, to show he was still quite alive though.

Upset his decoy setup was destroyed, Goldix thundered forward, jaws open and eyes glinting. Seraph boded left and right, trying to see if the giant snake was going to try and slam him or what. In his hasty retreat, Seraph used his wings to fling some nice moist Mud up at the giant. It connected, Slapping a thick wad over part of his left eye. Goldix roared in disagreement and instead of backing down, a stream of bluish flame came flying free. Seraph panicked and bounded left when he should have went right. A wash of blue covered his body, as the ancient flames scorching him moreso that he though.

Goldix writhed, his left eye blinded for a bit by that stupid mud slinging dragon.

I always like how people make names up for their move combos. So the next one I like to call the SandMan's Headache.

Start of with a Mud Slap, then while he is blinded grab his face and use Supersonic. Lastly while his is thrashing around confused and disorientated use an Earthquake.

Well, Goldix didn't like being the butt of a Mud-Slapping, but it happened again while he was studying the ground. Seraph buzzed on by, those wings fluttering more dirt into the same eye. Roaring, Goldix threw himself up, and fell back on the ground, but instantly bored into it upon contact digging away.

Seeing that his enemy dug...Seraph looked confused. What the hell was he going to grab to try and confuse. His answer came from below as Goldix burst through the terra; slamming all his weight into the hovering dragon. Thrown off, Seraphs Supersonic went off in the wrong direction, firing all willy nilly as he tumbled skyward.

His Headache kinda screwed Seraph dove back down and aimed for landing right beside Goldix. This would have been grand, has Goldix not been 22 feet long. Jaws opened, and the steel snake chomped on the poor dragon. The cold unforgiving sting of steel had a different effect on Seraph,. It did more than just hurt, it froze him to death. He wriggled, unhappy with the pain he was receiving from those Icy fangs, and threw all the energy he had throughGoldix, into the ground. The result was a successful Earthquake that Goldix was not ready for. The steel snake fell down in confusion and agony, and Seraph was able to slide free before the ginormous head hit the turf.

Goldix writhed, and was able to assume a vertical positioning once more. Seraph though, was kinda unhappy. His wings were definitely frostbitten.

Well Goldix, we got some sweet revenge, so let's not look back.

While your opponent is struggling, let's give him a Toxic to try and get him while he's in his predicament.

Then, I want you to give him another Ice Fang, aiming this time for the joints where his wings grow, make them completely useless in this battle if you can.

Finally, it's time to deal some major damage, let him have it with a well-aimed Dragon Pulse[/b]

Subs:

If he tries to use Earthquake on any of his turns, change the appropriate action (unless it's the third one) to Dragon Pulse, just so we can try and keep pace with him.

Or, if he decides to use Double Team, use your own Earthquake to rattle him.

ok this next move might sound stupid but lets give it a go.

Ok Seraph use a tiny dragon breath on your wings to melt the ice then get out of the way from the toxic. Then use a protect to stop the Ice Fang. Lastly dodge the Dragon Pulse and use the momentum for another Earthquake.

===Round 3===

Seraph jumped around, unsettled about his wing. However, he had a plan. Goldix, unknowing and uncaring of this plan, went ahead and began creating a ball of Toxic splatter to spit on Seraph. Seraph though, shot his small Dragonbreath up, and stood still, as Goldix leaned in, and slowly dripped the Toxic on him...

until the Dragonbreath fell back to earth and hit him...in THE EYE! Goldix freaked out, falling backwards in agony. A few of those tiny flames hit Seraphs wing and helped to thaw it, saving him some trouble. But that Toxic was also in effect now.

Roaring mad, Goldix wasted no time, and soon Seraph was behind held up by his wings again by the golden serpent. He knew this pain all to well, and right when the chill of the Ice Fang could be felt on his back, a thin barrier was created. Goldix chomped and chomped, but it was like chewing a rubber ball. Spitting him out, Goldix sneered, as Seraph laughed.

Staring Goldix down, Seraph looked as the serpent gathered energy and fired it down toward Seraph. Jumping upwards, those wings went to work, lifting him clear of the blast. As he fell to the ground, Seraph accelerated, slamming the ground hard enough with his feet to start another Earthquake and throw Goldix around like a rag doll once more.

Goldix: -7E/-19H ==///== Seraph: -9E

Upset, Goldix righted himself, and roared is discontent. Seraph huffed, feeling a tad woosy.

Okay CEB, we're almost in the same situation that happened in our first battle, when you wanted our Pokemon to regain a little energy without being able to use any moves for a couple of actions if their energy hit 0%, I'm afraid I'm not going to let that happen this time, can we agree this time that if any of our Pokemon get to 0% energy before their health hits 0%, that they will faint instead, please? I don't mind losing a battle, but losing two battles in this kind of circumstance isn't going to work with me.

I'm not too sure I'd like that idea, it is more likely to apply to Seraph than Goldix, but hey, I thought I couldn't make up for a major mistake in a battle with 2 or more Pokemon on each side, but as it turns out, there is a way.

Sorry CEB, but this is the way most of my battles have worked, in regards to what happens if a Pokemon's energy level hits 0%. I just can't go the other way (having a Pokemon relax to regain energy if its energy hits 0%), it's not really my "style" of battling.

Man, the reffing scene these days has been awfully quiet...I'm thinking someday I might try it here, and if you're okay with it, DarkestLight, I think your reffing style may be just the influence I need to come up with my own style.

Goldix groaned audibly, twisting his body so odd and horrible frequencies could be heard from the screeching of his metal hide. Seraph winced as he released earthen energy into the ground, causing it to shake and buckle, further enhancing the Tormenting sounds he heard from Goldix as the steel snake battered about.

Surviving that one, Goldix was quick to act, slithering over to Seraph with Icy Fangs protruding. Seraph sent another beacon of energy down...but unfortunately, nothing happened. startled, Seraph tried for an aerial escape, but was caught mid-flight by the jaws of death. Freezing pins and needles erupted throughout his wings.

Unreleased, Seraph feared a second overture of icy pain, and tried to release that energy down through Goldix again, to enhance the power of his Earthquake. it worked, but at a very high price. Stuck in the jaws of his enemy, Seraph would fall with his foe, jaws still having their dastardly effect on his backside.

Goldix did not move, and nor did Seraph. Oh. No wait, there goes Seraph, barely. He's literally frozen stiff from the back up, but he's still in this match.

I had a slight feeling you would go down in that last round, Goldix, but you did well.

Time to turn the tables here with my trump card, I choose Devia, my shiny female Spiritomb! I'm going to release her into the air, if it's okay, since ghost types typically float around.

Devia, this round is going to be about knocking out Seraph as quickly as possible, even if it means forcing him to use up his remaining energy, so let's start this round by Taunting him, then, use a Double Team to give him more trouble. Finally, if he hasn't fallen from exhaustion, then squeeze the breath out of him with a crushing Psychic!

Subs:

If he uses Toxic on any of his turns, Protect yourself from it.

If he relaxes on any of his turns, use Psychic to crush his windpipe.

what the hell, a Spiritomb , how the heck can it float with that rock on its butt? I'm not even. Seraph shares my puzzlement, but that's because Deiva is calling Seraph a poor man's dragonfly. Taunt like that's gonna strike a nerve. Seraph took a running start-and lunged to the sky, sinking his teeth into Devia and Crunching the ethereal rock she was tethered to a tad

Shaking left and right, Devia manages to get Seraph off of her. She stretched far to the left, in order to speed and confuse Seraph, only to see a mass of just... UGLY fluids fly at her from Seraph. Quick as a flash, an insta shield envelops Devia, Protecting her from the Toxic onslaught.

To the point of exhaustion, Seraph falls to the ground, and barely has time to look up before he passes out.

One question before CEB posts his second Pokemon choice, DarkestLight, did you factor in Crunch doing normal damage to Devia? Since she's part Dark, it wouldn't be supereffective damage, I just wanted to be sure, that's all.

Edit: I also should point out a typo, the second line you put in pink, you put Goldix instead of Devia, but it's nothing I'm that offended over, everyone makes mistakes afterall.

I talked to CEB about the problem about his current choice a few days ago DarkestLight, he said he forgot about the rule I put in, but I guess forgetfulness can get someone in a battle.

I just don't want to DQ myself over waiting for him to send out a second evolved or non-evolving Pokemon.

Ok I choose my Lairon Steel Ryu instead. use a Metal Burst after he hits you, then go in for a iron head and an Iron Tail.

Devia, let's make this round fairly simple, since that Metal Burst is bound to fail, let's take advantage. Conjure up a Nasty Plot to give you some much needed special power, then blast Steel Ryu in the face with a good Water Pulse before he can get close enough with his Iron Head, finally, finish by floating up just out of range of the Iron Tail (if you can get him to smack himself, which I doubt, it may be something we can take advantage of later), and using another Water Pulse. Blast him in the face again, if you can.
