Ok.

Kamon, Protect against Rockslide, Eruption and Aqua jet (and Yaichi's avalanche) on your first turn. Then use Yawn on Flamer. Finish with Lavaplume on that Buizel, burn him!

Yaichi, use Avalanche after getting hit by Eruption for maximum damage! Follow it up with throwing Spikes all around Licker for his rollout. Finish with thunderwave on Aquanous, render his infamous speed useless.

Irou, strike first with Sucker Punch at Flamer, try to lower the damage of that Eruption by taking as many HP as you can. Then, use Confuse Ray on Licker and finish with throwing a Toxic at flamer.

===Round 1===

Here we are in the ruins of Ancient Rome. For some reason MLG likes bringing me to desolate places and making me do strange things...whoa that didn't come out right...

Anyway, Rossymore, a fresh new bleeder to ASB strides on over, ready to give MLG a fight for his life. The two each release three Pokmeon and the battle begins.

Kamon instantly takes to the defensive, creating a barrier around himself. It came in swift fashion, as Aqua tried to make herself known as Neptune around these parts. Her Jetting motion was swiftly derailed. Flamer meanwhile was rearing to start the ascension of Hades, but felt a swift punch to his jaw. looking round, he spied a dark fluttering mass flying about. No matter. The temperature of the ground grew swiftly, until suddenly the ground burst open with an Eruption of fire and rock. Kamon's shield held out, but Yaichi was slammed by the attack. Irou was spared, since she fluttered out of the Eruption direction.

But the Rock Slide wasn't her cup of tea. As Kamon watched, boulders rained down some more on their group, and Yaichi seemed horribly damaged already. Aqua had barely avoided being hit by tht Eruption, when suddenly a twinkling of snow fell past her nose. She looked up and attained a face of fear as an Avalance of Rock and frozen lava came gunning for them all. The Trio were all slammed by Yaichi's souped up Avalanche

Everyone seems a little hurt by that first round. Kamon though, merely Yawns at Flamer, as Flamer shakes off the woosyness. Hearing that Yawn dosen't help either. Flamer fires off a Swift, and Kamon gets the bulk of it in his ao looking shell. Irou manages to get a few flaps in before she's struck by a Rolling Licker. The hit dosen't phase her too much, and she fires off a Confuse Ray at the pink mass. It hits, but Licker's still roliing around...

Yaichi decides it time for revenge and begins throwing rocks on top of one another, breaking them up. In this fashion, she creates a legion of spiky terrain, making everyone a bit unsure about who's side she's on. However, Kamon struggles as Aqua stays put, forcing water to rise up and ensnare the firesnail.

Kamon still struggles from withn the water prision, but Yaichi is on the move. Flamer was forcing himself to stay away by actually walking on the spikes. Licker realized the Spiky terrain was not cool when she rolled over a bunch and wound up stopping her attack and running around in circles. Irou breathed a sigh of relief and followed through, spitting a glob of Toxic substances on Flamer.

Yaichi acted fast, and lobbed a wave of electricity over onto Aqua, whom was firing a Sonic Boom at the water trapped Kamon. The attack struck her, and she held up her paws in anger. Kamon though, benefitted as the attack hit the water and was deafened.

Flamer tried to keep his eyes open, but with the Toxic already beginning to zap him, he began to fall into a deep sleep. Kamon began to call upon the ground himself. As if Vesuvius erupted-Lava plumed out of the ground, and railed for Aqua. Aqua curled in a ball as the Plume blasted her, fling her body pretty far to the west.

Beofre Flamer went to count sheep though, a massive Heat Wave engulfed the area. Yaichi didn't like that at all, but Kamon seemed fine with it. Irou was a little irritated, but since she was farthest from Flamer, it didn't hurt so bad.

Kamon, good work. Start off with a Sunny Day, then shoot Aquanous with Solarbeam and roast Licker with Fireblast.

Yaichi, time for revenge. Safeguard around Kamon, Irou and yourself. Then go on the offensive with a Thunderbolt, aimed at Aquanous. Use Psychic to finish off this round and throw Flamer against the coloseum!

Irou, Dreameater on Flamer and regain some health! Follow it up with Dark Pulse against Licker. End with Drill Peck on Aquanous.

The olden fights for the colloseum were back, as mythological animals duked it out for supremacy, and my thumb decided their fates. GLADIATORRRRRRRRR!

Licker really didn't seem to care. He was too busy licking spikes. Im sure that hurt a lil. That was a sigh of relief for Kamon as the fire slug began to heat the already boiling arena. Aqua found it distasteful, and turned her attention to the dark bird that was fluttering above her teammate. A well placed Ice beam, and down went Irou. Downed, the menacing crow roled over and stayed down, lying next to Flamer, seemingly nibbling on his thoughs and dreams.

Creepy..anyway. Yaichi was focusing really hard, expoanding a massive amount of energy to create a Safeguard that enveloped not only herself, but her teammates. It veiled everyone just as a Snore came her way. She looked over at the little Cyndaquil. Really? That wasn't too bright.

With the sun out, the Whirlpool was much more tolerable. Licker seemed to snap out of his confusion, and turned to face Kamon. Restarting his Rollout, the lumbering pink beast would barrel down a path he inadvertently cleared of Spikes.

Kamon, not knowing the danger barreling upon him, charged up a ratehr devastating Beam of Solar Energy quite fast. Aqua held her ground, as the beam came into contact with her-barely mising her due to that Protection she mustered. Yaichi's sudden additional attack of thunderbolts didn't help matters any, but she outlasted them both. Kamon was suddenly knocked out of the whirlpool by Licker.

Again. Flamer Snores. Again, Yaichi wonders why? Licker was proud for a moment too, until a wave of Darkened energy Pulsed right into him, knocking him off course. Irou flapped back into view, a lil late.

Kamon turned to see Licker was still undaunted and gunning for him again. He turned to see if any assistance was going to come from this. Naa. Aqua was already on the move. Irou was flying in right for her, evading the Ice Beam that were being railed at her. Aqua waited as she charged up a final Beam and jumped over Irou. While in flight, Irou corkscrewed and nailed Aqua with a few Pecks from her bobbing head before being slammed by that charged Ice Beam Aqua was holding onto.

Flamer...was kinda ticking off Yaichi, as Kamon put a stop to Licker and his raging Rollouts. The Fire Blast that eminated at Licker took the pink blob off course and made him unfurl as his back and butt were singed like crazy in this heat. Meanwhile, Yaichi went to fling Flamer against the wall, hoping that would wake him up, cause he Snored again! He hit, and down he fell. But he didn't move!

I believe you forgot to extract the damage from Licker. It should have -29HP, but only extracted the first -3HP. If I'm not mistaken.

Sorry to nitpick, it just came up when I saw Licker with all that HP, after taking damage from Fireblast.

Okay. Time to do some team work!

Lickitung, start off by using Fling on Cyndaquil. Throw him into the enemies territory. Don't throw him too far! Cyndaquil, when you reach the enemy, use Eruption!!! After that, Buizel use Ice Beam on their feet and freeze the ground around them. Cyndaquil, return back here.

For the second action, Cyndaquil, use Ember to melt the ice and turn it into water. Then Lickitung, hit that water with Thunderbolt. Fry them all!!! Buizel, use Baton Pass and switch with Flapper.

Finally, Flapper use Tailwind...unless if switching means you can't attack yet. Lickitung, use Shock Wave on Kamon and Cyndaquil, use Flamethrower on Yaichi.

o.O I've never had anyone do that before . That = Baton Pass in a melee. Gonna think about it for a bit.

Why?

Issue is that Baton Pass is used for non-melee battles -and if you swap, that Pokemon you used to Swap must be used at the end of the battle. Since this is a Melee-we already know the Three on Three that were to be faced, so swapping in a fourth is unfair...


but since Baton Pass wasn't banned...it's not illegal to do such a manauvear. Hrm. So like I said, gonna sit and think.

Ok, Yaichi, when Flamer gets flinged towards you guys use Hyperbeam and blow it back! Relax afterwards, but hover a bit, and finish it with a Water Pulse at the flamethrower and flamer!

Kamon, you use Solarbeam on Aquanous when Licker is flinging Flamer, then use Earthpower on your second action and throw them off balance! End the round with another Solarbeam aimed at a defenseless Aquanous.

Irou, you can start Taunting Aquanous from the start, make sure that it can't baton pass later in the round. Follow that up with a Mudslap aimed at Flamer's eyes. Finish with Sky attack on Licker!

When in Rome!! Aaanyway..Alright *sip* As the Ref gets his brain together, we notice Kamon lazily stretching out in the warmth of the Sun. Aqua has something to say about that, and begins firing a barrage of quick Ice Beams to freeze the groud up. She gets superbly irate though, as Irou points out she couldn't hit the broad side of a Hippowdon's posterior with aim like that. Irou was quickly fired at, but true to his word, the Ice Beam did miss!

Yaichi pondered the existance of the Ice on the ground , but turned when she saw Licker use his tongue as a slingshot to Fling Flamer over. Flamer's body was ready to Erupt into a fiery hell, but Yaichi was not having that. A intense blast of Energy slammed right into Flamer, launching the shrew skywards for yards, totally removing him from the area for the moment..

With Aqua pissed at the Taunting Irou, Kamon slithered over, swiftly charing up his own blast to deliver personally to Aqua. She fell victim to the hefty blast, unsure whom to hate anymore. SO that meant hate everyone.

Unhappy with her current state of affairs, Aqua went awol, gunning for Irou! Ice Beams went raining throughout the area, and unfortunatly, Irou was struck. Spiralling down, the Murkrow would bank out, right when a few spots fo Fire came from the heavens. Yaichi knew what that meant, as a pissed off Flamer came screaming back down toward the ground, spewing Embers as he hit...HARD. It didn't really work out to their plan, as Kamon unleashed a Earthen series of pulses that forced the tectonic balance of the land to shift, causing cracks and upheavals of rock. Flamer was already hurt, but this just was icing on the cake.

Yaichi just watched, as Licker bounced backwards from all the ground shaking, and tried to Thundershock any area with water, but the Earth had been shifted so much that any ice was all moved and or/crushed. Damn that Slug!! It benefitted Flamer though, as Irou flew by, unable to Slap Mud in his face since there was none. Irou kept movng though, as Aqua took the hits and kept chase.

Aqua quit chasing Irou, that was fruitless. Turning to Kamon, she sneered with glee and dashed toward him--only to realize that maybe being mad was not a smart ploy. Specially when paralysis can hit at any moment. Like now. A SolarBeam was fired at point blank range, sending the speedy weasel flying west.

Yaichi quickly took to the offensive-mustering her energy to create a Water Pulse in the middle of a Sunny Day in Rome. Licker somewhow got off a Shockwave, that rippled under the ghost and struck Kamon-as Flamer got hit a little more. That hurt, but Flamer wasn't done yet. With one breath, the little shrew spat a Flamethtower at the unsuspecting Yaichi, catching her off guard.

Irou dashed around the skies akin to the onset of night, before railing her body into Licker. The pair fell backwards together, but Irou spiralled away a second after impact, allowing Licker to enjoy the pain all to his self.

With Rossy's team looking like they were hit with unrelenting fury, Irou does not let them get any rest. The tiny Flamer decides its time to get his squad some much needed firepower. As Irou flies in close to unload on Flamer, the shrew flings itself up and begins a torrent of Flames thrown all in Irou's face. Irou flapped off a Dark Pulse to contend with the Flames, but his Pulse flew under, striking Flamer in the lower abdomen. Flamer landed back on the ground, still ready to incinerate something.

Seeing the shrew still take on anything coming its way, Aqua and Licker both tried their own action with renewed hope. Yaichi fired off a sizeable amount of electricity that bolted through Aqua's body. She convulsed in place. Damnit! Kamon meanwhile, looked around vacantly, wondering where his target went!

Kamon looked at all the tilled land, but saw no fat pink blob. He ducked as a speeding Irou cawed in anticipation of the pink blob as well. Flamer ran past Kamon just then, beady proboscis stemming with flames ready to hose Yaichi down. The frigid ghost was also looking for Licker, and felt quite irate when she was ambushed by the crafty shrew. Just then, Aqua tossed up a shield for her very life as a SolarBeam came careening down. Kamon cursed her ability to block that attack, and then went flipping onto his backside as Licker erupted from the ground.

Kamon struggled as Irou dove first, Pecking at the newly unearthed Pokemon voraciously. Licker tried to beat the bird away, as Yaichi came over and starts to slap it! he doesn't even know WHY, but he's offended by the slaps.

Feeling time was short,. Yaichi decides to wipe the field clear of all troubling beings. Floating in front of Kamon, she begins to absorb the air around her, chilling it to a phenomenal degree. It's evident she's going for the kill, but Flamer seems eager to put a stop to that. He scatters over broken earth and jagged land, flames reaching an apex on his back. Ascending that last mound that put him within striking distance, the Shrew screeched out the largest Flame Wheel it could.

Irou watched from above as Kamon finally flipped over-that Flame Wheel had power from the Sun that was unparalleled in this battle so far. Even Yaichi was stunned but she pushed forth, shooting that Blizzard directly at that Flaming Wheel-and realizing that it was still coming through! The Blizzard tried to shatter Flamer's spirit, but the Sun was his friend right now, and he collided with Yaichi in a fiery mass -passing out from the sheer exertion. Yaichi fell as well, utterly stunned that little shrew took her out! Aqua grunted, that ice wasn't enough to take her or Licker out...

Yaichi didn't even notice as Stars came speeding through her, tagging Kamon and causing Irou to try evasive maneuvers. Licker bounced his rolypoly self over to give the best assistance he could. Watching as Irou bank back right for him. the chubby Pokemon smiled before roaring out an Ice Beam. Irou squawked and tried to change direction, but was tagged by the Swift Stars in the back and that made her unable to pull up fast enough to avoid the Ice Beam. Licker smiled as Irou flew right at Kamon, but his smug smile turned to pure fear as a Huge Fire Blast erupted from Kamon and engulfed that Beam-heading right for him. Aqua watched as Licker was swallowed by the massive Blast, before she passed out.

Kamon slithers up as the Sun finally sets on this once the civilization that ruled the world. Their shield shimmered one final time before evaporating. Twas the only survivor... Aqua Twitched, but that Burn did her in.
