Heald Vs Andrew - Ref: DL

Since I'm assuming Gym Battles don't take up one of my normal slots, I totally want to battle ASB newbie, Heald.

You choose the terms of our battle and I'll be happy to oblige.

Arena, pokemon etc. All up to Heald.

Well, since I only have 4, and I haven't ASBed for quite some time, here are the rules:

Arena: Inside a large Greek temple ruin. Marble floor and columns and much of the roof is missing, leaving about half the arena basked in sunlight.
Banned Moves: No rest or that crap. Any you can think of?

You know what, I'm going to use my two Mr. Mimes in this battle.

OzMime and OzMime 2.0. (2.0 has a blue colour scheme)

Okay, I meant in my original post that we still send out one at a time, it isn't a melee, but I'll assume you'll still send out a Mime. Also, DQ time is a week.

Anyway, I'll set the scene...

The trainer Heald descends into the stadium on a cloud made from the tears of orphans. Atmospheric lights and fog surround his entrance and the music O Verona is blasting out from a stereo he is holding over his head. His icy glare stares down the opposing trainer, and as his cloud reaches a metre from the ground, he waits for the song to finish, and then he throws the stereo onto the marble floor, smashing it. Two Pokeballs materialise in his hands, and he tosses one Pokeball out. A Tropius materialises and the trainer floats backwards.

"Megazord! Perform an Aerial Ace to knock that mime down! Then turn straight around and hit him with Steel Wing! Finally, slam down onto the ground with an almighty Earthquake! The power of the Megazord is with us today!"

Oh fuck a giant flying monster.

I forgot this is 1 pokemon at a time. Well I may change my second choice later.

OzMime, Thunderwave, deal some paralysis. Next, use a Double Team to avoid the Steel Wing.

Finally, create a barrier or light screen as a little standing pad a few inches off of the ground and stand on it to avoid the equake.

===Round 1===

An all new battle! With a new battler. Joining up from Cloudtopia is Heald...ready to take on our supervet Andrew. In no time at all, an enormous Tropius joins us, ready to take on the Mimie that stands at the entrance to this Greek Temple.

Megazord flies toward the cavernous hole in the roof, easily fitting in and coming from behind striking OzMime. The mime rolls backwards, before stopping by holding his hands to his sides. Climbing up what seems to be an invisible ladder, he seems to reach for a light bulb? What? Oh I get it. One finger outstretched, he pantomimed an electrical wave flowing from him and onto Megazord. Huh.

OzMime was quicker to react this time, running forward to catch up to the gargantuan tropical dinosaur. He focused and split into three, lining up along the right side of Megazord in staggered fashion. The Paralysis wasn't too hindering yet, so with a massive swipe, Megazord slammed its Wing down at the nearest OzMime. The heavier than leaf structure met with its target and sliced right through it. Megazord spiralled once before righting itself spotting there were now two more Mime's on the field. Drat...

Flapping above the ground was getting tiring, and he felt the electricity shoot through his wings. Megazord groaned and flew up a bit higher, hoping to reach a suitable height to cause an Erthquake with his weakened body. At the same time, OzMime and friend seemed to be flapping out something that they lied almost on the floor. As Megazord came toward the ground, OzMime jumped on this pane of light, and watched as the ground shook underneath him.

Excellent. OzMime you're doing well. Use a Plat attack! Signal Beam! Charge Beam and finish off with a Psychic.

If Trop tries Equake, go with your floating barrier/light screen to avoid it again.

The trainer sits pensively on his cloud, hands pressed together, contemplating his next move. He then utters the words,

Megazord, shake off that Paralysis if you can and use Protect against his Signal Beam. Then if at all possible, hit him with Silver Wind, then perform Toxic on him.

Paralysis was too unpredictable. But Megazord felt safe for the moment. Safe enough, as that Protective barrier made that Signal beam refract as if it was light on water. OzMime sneered-his attack being deflected like that. Who blocks a MIME!

The Mime's ran over to the beast now and Megazord didn't quite approve of their proximity. He went to swipe at them, but felt his legs clench up. Falling to his knees, Megazord tires to use its wings-but they succumb for teh moment as well. OzMime has no trouble hitting the Grassy Flier with a healthy dose of electricity.He even feels a bit better doing it.

Megazord looks to his legs. They've stopped trembling. Great. OzMime and his twin try for another attack, using their combined pantomimg skills to unleash a fury of Psychic energy on the sauropod. Megazord gets hit from his left..and realizes that's where the real Mime is! Aquickly, he spits in OzMime's face, successfully Toxicfying him.

The trainer nods his head forward, strategy in mind:

Megazord, perform a Double Team in order to confuse that Mime and throw off his aim, then blast him away with Silver Wind and follow that up with Ominous Wind.

Excellent. Mr Mime wait till the Double Team is in effect. Simply Shockwave/Swift. Whatever you feel would do more damage. Teleport away from the Silver Wind, then use a Copycat to Send a Silver Wind back at him to hopefully counter the Ominous wind.

Not too sure about its opponent, OzMime decided to try and cripple the competition. Well it didn't hafta work too hard, as the Shockwave released destroyed all the Megazord's clones rather quickly-while giving it a short jolt!

Testing, Megazord felt its muscles give, and he sprung into action. Flapping its majestic fern wings, a huge swath of Silvery powder emanatedfrom within the breeze. OzMime was quick to pantomime walking through a door, and evaporated from sight. It reappeared, walking through another door behind MegaZord.

Now behind the giant planimal, OzMime did a weird shuffle, beflre mimicing Megazord's last action to the motion. Just like that a strong Wind came flying at the flier, but he countered as best he could with an Ominously called wind of his own. The winds didn't cancel each other out, but they did deflect alot of their power withn each other.

Running to ref this battle, I notice Megazord stomping around i haste. It's causing an Earthquake in an old temple...and it's doing a fine job of making OzMime bounce about. But still, the mime acted as if it was on a roller coaster. When he rose his hands, out came a Psychic force that tripped up Megazord!

Powerful hits from each side make the battle seem more ferocious than it actually is. Megazord flaps his wings terribly hard, in order to stand as well as deter OzMime from getting closer. Both work-and OzMime tries to walk through the wind. At one point, he's compeltly leaning into the wind, unmoving. Hands still pointing toward MegaZord, a second electrical current runs through the sky-striking the beating wings of the beast.

OzMime had enouigh to always tailing this beast,. But as he ran over to try and strike it with a Icy fist of retribution..the Tropius...flew up and away. Like.. kinda high too. OzMime just watched, and licked his fist. Ooh Icy

So Megazord, we've taken the fight to the skies, excellent. Whip up a Whirlwind around that Mime in order to make sure he doesn't escape, then follow it up with a Giga Drain and then a Facade. Remember to keep to the skies.

SUBS: Protect against Psychic (although only use it once), keep out of range of any Ice Punches if you are grounded with Fly.

Teleport onto his back, create a very weak sub if you can and use Psychic.

Well,it would seem that Megazord's paralysis is in remission, as he's flying about, causing quite a stir! In fact, its getting so heavy that a Whirlwind is produced and it ensnares the Mime..I think.

Ulp no. There goes OzMime, parading on Mega's back. This can't be good.

Zord: -7E ==///== OzM: -8E

Megazord cranes his neck, spotting the Psychic on his back, and immediatly does a barrell roll. At that time, OzMime poops out a Sub..(*did he really hafta pantomime him pooping a Sub out?)..whiole holding onto Mega for dear life. As the Sub fell to the ground, Mega tried to drain its life, only to watch it shatter to pieces.

Balancing back out, OzMime was quick to try and fire a Psychic off at the flying beast. That was not a smart idea, as he was flying on said beast, but luckily, a barrier prevented the Psychic from going or doing anything that might hamper poor Zord.

Sorry. Been ill girls.

Mr Mime use a Thunderwave. Then I want you to FLASH him in the eyes and finish off with an Ice Punch.

If he throws you off, use a a teleport to get to the ground safely and attack with whatever you feel is the best approach.

[Heald]

Use Safeguard in order to avoid being paralyzed, then use Fly and slam your back and the Mime riding it against the ceiling, that should take care of him. If he hasn't fallen off, use a Twister to throw him off.

SUBS If he has fallen off, slam down onto the ground with Earthquake.

Still riding high in the sky, OzMime tries to paralyze the very ship he's flying on. Being in such close proximity works for Mime, since he's able to actually hit the flier before the Safeguard is fully formed. Poor Zord, forced to fly lower as the Safeguard forms a tad too late.

No, no feeling sorry! Zord speeds up flight and reaches out for the sky. The sky blocked by a heavily cracked ceiling. Mr Mime spots the oncoming collision and tries to blind the flier, creating a bright flash in front of Zord. Zord shrieks and shoots straight up, barreling through the ceiling a bit.

Blinded and falling Mr Mime was quick to Teleport...one foot below him. His energy level was far too low for a move like that. As such, he was left to fall as Zord came falling down as well. A yellow current could be seen circling him.

They both crashed on the ground, a lil hurt from that.

Once you hit 0%-you need two actions relax before you can attack. Basically, Andrew has one attack.
