We're in the brazilian rain-forest, on a half-open clearing.

I send out Soi Fong, my shiny female Venomoth.

[Heald]

The chirping of birds, the howling of monkeys, the sounds of branches and leaves swaying in the wind fill the atmosphere. It is humid and the temperature warm, enough to bring a sweat to the brow of anyone venturing through the rain-forest today. One such trainer is followed by his shiny Venomoth, scouting the area, and he arrives in a clearing in the forest.

Clouds seemingly appear out of nowhere and cover the sun, bringing a chilling darkness to the opening, enough to make a jaguar's blood turn cold, and an anaconda's blood turn even colder, possibly freezing it. A lightning bolt strikes the floor of the opening and in its place a trainer floating on the cloud made with tears of parrots appears suddenly. He is holding a Pokeball and he releases a Magnemite.

"Gizmo! Perform Thunder Wave, followed by Charge Beam and then Discharge!"

[Mew Master]

An Aerodactyl swoops in, and the ref rides him.

"Battlers! Send out your Pokemon. I shall ref this match!

Quickly create a Substitute Soi, then counter his Charge Beam with a Signal Beam. Finish with Psychic in a beam form.

The Ref walk sin, spraying bug spray everywhere to fend off the musquitos, in affect hitting Soi Fong and mistaking him for a giant bat (Dead). And well... since reffing from that would be embarassing, MLG will take the place of his now deceased Pokemon.

The fight starts and looks like Gizmo has a few problems. It gives MLG an edge as he whipps out something from his pants.. OYG! PUT IT AWAY!!! THIS IS A KIDS SHOW! … Oh.. It's a Mallet

“In his pants...”

To which MLG smashes into Gizmo, sending the Magnemite spiraling into several trees like an impromptu Pinball. A crack forms along the side of the Magnemite's side before it explodes into OVER 9000 little Mogwai creatures from Gremlins! They swarm over MLG and tear him apart like a pack of little piranah before turning on Heald and tearing him to shreds as well.

Well that's it for the match, as the Ref tires to leave, but is killed as a tree falls on him from the bulldozers tearing up the forest to put in a Mini-mall.

In the thick of the Jungle, no one expects the heat to drive you crazy, unless of course you're this ref, with an ego boost from a certain match. But while that one is still up in the air, let's start this one, shall we?

MLG unleashes his newly Shinyfied Venomoth, guess the little bug had a bit too much of his own scales on him. Heald, new to the ASB, at least that I know of, throws out a small Magnemite. With the ref in place it's time to start the match!

Gizmo starts off with a net of electricity that covers the jungle air, hitting Soi and locking up his muscles (-4/(PAR)). Not discouraged, Soi manages to slink off his outer layer of chiten, and sloughing off some of his own health into it as well (-30, -25, 1 Substitute!).

The copy works for now, as Gizmo charges up a blatant burst of electrical energy right at the decoy (-4 (SPATK +)/-6). With the decoy taking the hit, Gizmo feels pretty pleased with himself and can feel the energy boost riding through him. Soi Fong has been repositioning himself in preparation for another attack, however his inner workings lock up as a jolt of electrical stimulus leaves him in pain.

Not able to attack with his body, Soi goes with his mind, and unleashes a burst of concentrated psychic energy right at Gizmo (-7/-5). Whoa! Where did that come from?! Gizmo is confused as his opponent did not move at all, but the magnet still got hit. Charging up another attack, the Magnemite blasts a huge burst of electrical energy right at the decoy (-6/-8).

As the rumble in the jungle starts, that ends Round 1.

The match continues as the jungle heat and humidity starts to get to the ref.

Gizmo glows before splitting into four different copies of himself (-4, (Four Clones)). Fong glances around for the true one, and starts flapping his wings, flying over one of them and pouring powder over that individual (-4). But that Magnemite fizzes out like a bad hologram (3 Clones).

With the number of choices limited, Song tries to go for another attack to try and pin down Gizmo, but he locks up and isn't able to muster the ability to break the Paralysis. Gizmo spins his magnets and unleashes a blast of electricity (-8/-10).

Staving off the paralysis, Soi charges up a decent attack, as energy surrounds him before he flings himself at one of the Gizmos (-12/-12, 2 Clones ). Seems like Gizmo protected itself from the attack that never came.

And with that last attack, the round is over!

And we're back!

With in a flash, Soi teleports out of the ring of Gizmos (-6). Just as the Gizmos unleash a blast that destroyes the shed skin of the Venomoth (-4/-1). Waitaminute! That wasn't Soi Fong! That was just a shed skin! The Venomoth buzzes to herself in glee

A bright flash of light (-6/-9 (Blinded, ACC --, 50% Chance attack Fail)). Her multieyes blinded, Soi flies over, scales falling from her wings and onto one of the clones phasing it out (-3/-1 Clone). Now there be two clones of the floating Gizmo.

Soi Fong goes in for her next attack, collecting energy around herself before unleashing it (-6, (Rock)/-3). And she hits Gizmo with power of elemental Rock, causing the final clone to burst into small speckles of light. The Magnemite shakes off the attack before energy charges around its eye and blasts out in a flashy laser of energy (-13/-15 (SPDEF -)) which seems to have shaken some of Foi's defenses.

The round is over, in this heated jungle match.

The fight continues, and it looks like Soi Fong is getting the short end of the stick.

Gizmo lets loose with a sound much like the warping of metal girders that echoes through the forest canopy (-4/(DEF --)). The sound phases Soi slightly before she unleashes a burst of pure bug energ (-5/-4).

Soi starts to gather energy for the attack, but fails as the joints lock up on her. Gizmo takes the time to aim and ensure his next attack will hit (-3).

The Magnemite spins its magnets, creating a massive field of built up energy before unleashing it in a massive devastating beam that slams into Soi (-13/-15), knocking the Venomoth through a tree and into the brush. The force from the attack sends Soi Fong's system into shock, unable to mount a counter attack.

Thinks are not looking good for the poison bug as the next round starts.

Mimicking Magneto, Gizmo summons raw iron out of the surrounding area, before sending the concentrated metal slamming into Soi (-4/-6). Not ready to give in and fighting his paralysis, Soi Fong summons an eerie wind to wash over the battlefield (-6/-4). Doesn't look like it did that much, but at least he got a hit in.

Pushing himself further, Soi tries to get the drop in on the next set and in flapping his wings unleashes a whipping twister upon the field (-3/-3). Again it doesn't look like much, and it's right before Gizmo spins and charges up a blazing electrical attack (-7/-8).

The next set could be Soi's last as Gizmo channels a sphere of magnetized energy and flings it at the Venomoth (-7/-9). Nope! Soi Fong is still in there as he goes for another attack before his muscles lock up on him, rendering himself a sitting duck.

Round's over... let's see how the next one fairs.

As the match goes on, things aren't looking good for the Venomoth as he summons her own psychic powers and pinning Gizmo to the ground (-8/-5). Upon being slammed, Gizmo unleashes his stored up energy in a wide burst (-1. -3 (Energy Substitute)/-9).

Gizmo spins his magnets as he's held down and unleashing a bolt of lighting at Soi Fong (-4 (Energy Substitute)/-4).

With that blast, Soi Fong drops. The trainers recall their Pokémon as the thunder above signals another shower. An arrow goes through the ref's hat,and it also appears that the natives are restless!
